Leave your egos at the door. Once you arrive, you really feel a shift in frequencies. I love the studio, the yogis, and the fact that they are affiliated with the Chopra Center. It was like I was in Carlsbad, but in Bonita Springs!
I really feel at home at Joyful Yoga. Being from CA, it was challenging to find anything like Burke Williams. I visited random hotels and spas in Ft Myers and wasn’t please.
So, I was happy to find this spot and learn that they also use organic Eminence products from Hungary. My esthetician, Mary, is AMAZING. So knowledgeable and great energy. As she cleanses and nourishes my skin, she also aligns my chakras and offers great tips to find balance.
I love Joyful Yoga.

I was very disappointed in my experience here. The teacher was a frantic mess and did not seem to know what she was doing. That combined with a $ 20.00 drop in fee made this a must miss studio.

I’ve had facials over the years, but nothing like the Eminence facial I received this week at Joyful. First, the products are the finest on the market, pure and organic. Mary, the esthetician was well trained, and gave me the most incredible facial massage, that included head, shoulders, neck, arms and hands. I left feeling rejuvenated and relaxed. Highly recommend Mary and the beautiful Joyful Spa.

Experienced an amazing, nurturing, heartfelt practice while visiting as a guest in this studio. I was hoping to find a location in SW Florida, while on vacation there, that was par with the nurturing environment of my favorite studio at home in Minnesota. My first attempt wasn’t too successful (at a studio called Golden Lotus in Cape Coral, which I couldn’t find on Unilocal so I don’t get the pleasure of blasting in a review)…so, I was wary, to say the least.
Joyful Yoga is all about acceptance of self and others. The 8 limbs of Yoga, specifically the yamas, niyamas, and pranayama were emphasized by the instructor, Marti. This is definitely similar to the environment I’ve become accustomed to and respect in my home studio.
The flow was moderate and had modifications without losing momentum. The students were mostly regulars and the interactions were kind.
The retail area has plenty to offer, from clothing to books to mala beads, and the class schedule compliments the Yoga Alliance– Approved Teacher Certification that is offered at the studio.

What a fantastic studio. What I enjoyed about joyful yoga was the nice balance of incorporating the pace of Hatha with Vinyasa asanas. Translation: If you struggle with high flow movements like I do and want to «hold» the position to get the most out of it, Joyful Yoga is a great yoga studio for you.
