I have to give Goldy’s Corner three stars for their outrageously-priced gluten free offerings. I appreciate the convenience of the various gluten free choices(baked by Amaru Confections) and don’t get me wrong, they are quite tasty, however at $ 4 or more for a standard slice of banana bread, muffin or lemon bar, I don’t feel like I’m getting my money’s worth even with the gluten free mark-up that I’m accustomed to.

I went to lunch here with my husband a few weeks ago for my first time, we ordered sandwiches, when I received my sandwich I noticed that it was dry and there was no avocado, which I had ordered, so my husband very kindly went to the counter and told the young girl that she forgot avocado, she replied by telling him that they didn’t have any. Well, I had my heart set on what I ordered and so I didn’t want to eat that dry $ 8 sandwich when I paid for avocado and didn’t get it. So my husband asked her if we could get a refund on just my sandwich, he was happy with his, and the girl behind the counter very rudely said«there is nothing wrong with that sandwich, if you’re not happy you can order so thing else»…I have managed a restaurant for 3 years and I was just completely infuriated with the lack of customer service. AND to top it, when we paid before we received our food we even left her a $ 5 tip on a $ 20 order of 2 sandwiches… I called 3 times that week to speak to the owner, we was never in the restaurant at the time so I left 3 messages with no call back. I think it’s safe to say that I will never eat at Goldy’s again, it was undoubtedly the most horrible customer experience I have ever had.

Great place to stop for a coffee/baked good. As for the food, I would not suggest the fish dinner or a sandwich.(Not to mention the fact that the staff did not seem to want to make the food because it was later?) But the overall feel inside is nice to sit and hang out.

Reviews looked great so we went to try it out this morning. The pecan caramel roll was very dry and hard. My husband got me a raspberry scone and it wasn’t at all why I expected. It was this big flat square piece covered in a thick sugary glaze that was sooo sweet I couldn’t enjoy it at all. Even my sweet toothed 4 year old wouldn’t eat it. It was very crowded which is a good thing and not complaining there. The restrooms were filthy! Can’t see us returning there ever again.

I got a bread pudding muffin from here to take on the plane. I didn’t like the dates it had in it. Service was ok. They have a restaurant next door.

Great service with a smile. I had the spicy mocha which was a creative mocha with cayenne pepper and had the perfect amount of spice. It wasn’t hot enough but I am hard to please so I’ve given up blaming the coffee shops for that. Fruit crêpe was good — they use pre-made crepes but honestly I could only tell because it wasn’t warm. Comfortable seating, pleasant atmosphere. Loved it!

My friend and I were feeling the brunch lifestyle Saturday morning and decided to try out Goldy’s. The actual restaurant had a 45 minute wait, and since we were already whipped up into a brunch frenzy we decided to check out Goldy’s Corner. My buddy ordered the spinach, mushroom, and Swiss quiche while I had the bacon, potato, and cheddar casserole. Definitely filling, especially for the price(~$ 4 each) but nothing to write home about. The employees were very friendly though, and I definitely would like to try some of their delicious-looking baked goods.

I absolutely adore Goldy’s Corner. If you order to-go from Goldy’s Bistro, they’ll bring it right over to the corner for you to enjoy:) the corner is open until 3AM on Friday and Saturday nights, which is makes it one of the few late night food options is downtown Boise on weekends! I like to stop in for an espresso shot before going out:) they also have amaaazing crepes, breakfast burritos, quiche, local fresh pastries, and a rad little gift shop of local trinkets! The service absolutely rocks, if you want a delicious surprise crêpe or smoothie, they’ll whip something special up for you(after they ask about food allergies first, of course!). They bring out your food and drinks, and when they can they take your dishes:) the prices, and the inviting, homey, kind atmosphere will keep me a regular for the rest of my days in Boise!

Mold in my bread pudding muffin. Mmm yup! A big ol’ nasty bunch of mold right in the center after my daughter and I had eaten half of it. Was asked if I wanted something else by compassionate counter staff… but I. don’ . First time here, first time in Boise, love that this is here to have coffee while we are waiting for our table next door. No stir sticks to stir large coffee though? Really? Mk… Good selection of beverages though.

Autumn spice latte may be one of the best lattes I have ever had. Delicious! We had a super yummy caramel roll while waiting for our table to be ready next door at Goldys. Came back every morning during our stay in Boise.

While waiting for a table at Goldy’s we stopped by Goldy’s Corner for a pre-breakfast cup of coffee. It is a cute little nook that is just off to the side of the restaurant. It is cozy and has a very chill atmosphere. Since we were from out of town we were unfamiliar with the area and didn’t realize what a totally cool place Boise was, and especially the downtown area. We ordered a Breve’ and wondered among the little trinkets they had for sell. I was delighted to find a little homemade novelty hand towel I plan on give as a Christmas present to a dear friend. We waited for about 25 min before our table was ready and thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast.

Curried Burrito — 5⁄5 Chicken Salad Sandwich — 5⁄5 Dirty Chai — 4⁄5 Espresso — 4⁄5 Service — 5⁄5 I come in at least once a week and I am never disappointed in the food, drink, and service I receive. The quality is mostly consistent and the atmosphere is nice and the noise volume is never too loud. The rotating art items and the little retail items made by local Boiseans give the place a great vibe. The food items are usually loaded and crafted with ingredients that go amazingly well with each other. The staff give you good suggestions if you don’t know what to try and when you pick an item they give you a side of salsa, sriracha sour cream, etc that pair up nicely with what was ordered. The espresso is usually made to perfection, but the bad cup of espresso is unavoidable due to the art of making espresso, or being picky. Truly as good as a coffee shop gets.

I’ve been here twice in the last year. First time for breakfast. Which was absolutely great. One of the better meals I’ve had with my wife. Second meal was so close to lunch time, my wife and I tried lunch. We had the mushroom cheese burger. It was ok. One of the few places that uses real cheese. Though the bun was bigger than the meat patty. With two drinks and a average tip it was over $ 30.00. I thought it was on the high side for what you got. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 was mainly 3 reasons. High pricing. .Especially for lunch Cleanliness. .dust balls and lint hanging from air vents over my table. Though everything else looked clean. Wait time on food. Over if not close to 20 minutes.

Get the taste of Goldy’s without the line. The pastries can be off-putting because they are wrapped in Saran wrap, but don’t be fooled — they are tasty and can be warmed up on request. I personally like the breakfast burritos, particularly the Italian and bacon ones. Don’t be fooled by the size. They are VERY filling. Service is very friendly and attentive. The lattes are not as good as district coffeehouse or flying M, but are still quite drinkable.

I couldn’t love this place more. Both the food and beverages are stellar. All the baked goods I have tried(a bran muffin, vegan sugar cookie, lemon bar) were fresh, moist, and just the right amount of sweet. Additionally, things are pretty reasonably priced and they sell day-olds for a discount. They brew Dawson Taylor coffee, and make espresso drinks with care. They also offer a wide variety of fresh fruit smoothies and other specialty drinks. They always brew four types of coffee, and it’s self-serve with a bottomless cup, so you can get good and jittery, you can knock yourself out. My favorite aspect of this coffee shop is the friendly staff. They always make me feel truly welcome and offer a real, genuine human connection. They will go out of their way to help you decide between food options, will keep a tab open so you can linger all afternoon and keep picking things up, and are happy to answer a litany of questions. There are a few little tables, booths, and some comfy chairs and couches to hang in, as well as an odd little collection of cards and bags to peruse if you’re waiting in line. Whether you’re hanging out until you get a table for breakfast next door, or looking for a place with good coffee that isn’t a total scene, I highly recommend Goldy’s Corner.

What a brilliant idea. This coffee shop is adjacent to Goldy’s restaurant. Goldy’s restaurant is a popular breakfast place in the Boise area so when you have an hour wait. What better way to keep people nearby than to have a coffee shop next door. It certainly worked in our case. In case you get a little crazy they have snacks there as well. A selection of sundry items as well bandages, aspirin, and the like. Quite cozy and nice to hang out with friends. I believe they have wi-fi there as there was one person working on a computer in there but I don’t know for sure. The restaurant around the corner takes your cell number and calls you when your table is ready. Very handy. I would come back here with or without going to the restaurant around the corner.
