I met Dr Orphanos 15 years ago when I moved to Florida. I was referred by my General Dentist due to recurring periodontal problems. I immediately felt at home with Dr O and his staff due to there high interest in solving my problem and their great sense of humor which really made me feel at ease. After a mouthful of x-​rays and an exam, Dr O discussed the treatment options that were available to me. Together, we decided which plan would be best, and then followed through. Since that treatment plan was completed many years ago, I have had zero, periodontal problems. I continue to do follow up and get perio maintenance with Hygienist, Dawn, who does an amazing job cleaning my teeth, painlessly! My treatment included, root planing, bone grafting, sinus lift and a couple of implants. All have worked flawlessly for almost 15 years now. I give Dr O and his staff my highest recommendation!

I saw 4 – 5 different specialists before having the pleasure of meeting Dr. Orphanos. He was the only one that was not only extremely nice, respectful, thoughtful and knowledgable, but he was honest and the only one I felt was focused on what was the best treatment for me instead of thinking on how much money he could make from my tragedy, something that sadly I can’t say from all the others. My procedure went quick and smooth and I have healed incredibly well with almost no pain, he has amazing hands.

5 years ago after going through periodontal and other dental problems my entire life it was suggested to me that I consider bone grafting and implants. I was nothing less than TERRIFIED. Add to that, it’s costly. I was too young to go through this and just never smiled. I had several consultations with the best of the best dental people in S. Florida who do restorative and periodontal work. After reading an online article about cutting edge implant research written by Dr. Mark Gutt, a periodontist in Miami, I emailed asking if there was someone in this area he would recommend. Surprisingly he responded and named Dr. Ernest Orphanos. I felt most comfortable with Dr. O.
Why? He really sincerely cares about his patients, takes pride in his work and so does his office staff. His prices were comparable to contemporaries in the area who seemed far more pompous.
He was gentle, worked quickly and available immediately after my surgery when I had a reaction to the pain medication.
It is now several years later. I go have my implants checked every 6 months and still couldn’t have imagined anyone could have done a better job or been more kind. Quite simply~He’s the Best.
