Body Kneads Massage

It’s truly a blessing I came across Body Kneads and Dr. Burnham. After two foot surgeries on the same foot, same spot — last year in October 2014 had the second surgery to remove a benign tumor — it’s been a couple of months since my surgery and my foot pain and discomfort are still there. Trying to move on with my life and possibly think «am I to live with this forever?» … Well that’s what I thought but now after meeting with Dr. Burnham am so grateful and filled with immense gratitude! I feel incredible, absolutely pain free. I feel so great that I want to go for a jog or run, something I always use to do. I just can’t believe it! I am so thankful to GOD — that I met Dr. Burnham — he is absolutely an angel sent from heaven…
As for the massages, the best for foot massage is George and Frank is an expert at full body massages! This is definitely something you should treat yourself with.

The office has just completed a complete renovation and moved into the space next door. The therapists are all top quality, they now offer massage, facials, foot massage, yoga, physical therapy, chiropractic and are adding day care soon. As reimbursements from insurance has dropped, they have dropped all insurance and now offer extremely low prices. Chiropractic adjustments are 2 for $ 39, 1 hr massage for $ 39, yoga $ 12, 1 hour foot massage $ 35 etc.

Had a great massage today from Maria.
I love deep tissue and she was super knowledgable about anatomy and could really get into the deeper muscle groups where applicable.
They had a crazy special today also — this is one of the most affordable studios in the area.

I have gone to this place many times and have gotten pretty good massages but this place just lost my business
I believe I encountered the owner, Robert, as an earlier review mentioned. I made an appointment because they were having a special ($ 45 for an hour) when I got in, he tried charging me $ 70. I explained that on the website, on the front page, it states $ 45. He says «oh there is fine print». I pulled it up and asked him to show me. He was unable to. Robert, you just lost my business from here on out in an attempt to make an extra buck

This establishment used to be top notch but then they brought in a part-​time owner named Robert and it is now a disaster. He runs off staff. He is rude to the customers. He will have no compunction about getting in your face. It’s too bad because they had some good therapists but Robert has run most of them off and now they mostly have beginners. The current chiropractor Dr. Gill is great but one has to think she will move on in short order as her predecessor had done. It’s sad because this place thinks its going to expand but Robert will make sure it’s a failure. He is simply atrocious. And see the other review that talks about him as well.

The owner Robert was a complete jerk to me! I bought a gift card for my husband for an hr an a half massage! I booked his apt for an hr and a half massage! Not sure if the lady booking the apt messed up or what but he got there and they only have him an hr massage. My husband figured I Purchased a different mount then I thought an went with it. They kept the hole gift card and I have the bank statement saying that it was more money then an hr massage! I called the next day and spoke with Robert. He told me gift cards are non refundable and I could apply the remaining amount towards another service. I dont want to spend more money I want to get what I originally bought. It’s almost as if they did it on purpose to get more money out if me! I’m still fighting this! They won’t even give him a remaining thirty min massage because they charge more for it! Go somewhere that doesn’t scam you for more money!

This is a legitimate massage place which i enjoyed thoroughly. My masseuse was a very skinny Brazilian lady in her 50’s? She was typical new age flakey crystal candle health nut type who to me are so much fun to talk to. She has been there 7 years and really knows what she is doing. Strong hands. Wish i could remember her name-​might be something like Cici?
She was in a great mood even though her previous customer had left his tip where she didn’t see it. I had to point it out to her at our session end so she is not ‘about the money’ at all.
The rooms are clean, private and nice. The front desk staff will check out your insurance as you session and advise if you are covered at all. I was though i had to see their Dr to get an RX which is $ 70. Thereafter i only pay $ 20 copay. I will take advantage of this when i return to fla this winter.
I believe i received a full hour as opposed to Massage Envy which gives you a 50 minute ‘hour’ I am returning as soon as i can!

I’ve been going to Body Kneads for several years now whenever I need some real attention. Unlike some other places, every single massage therapist here is top notch. If you just want some relaxing spa type work, you can get that here — but where they really shine is on the deep, therapeutic stuff. They’ll tailor your experience to what you need — and if you let them and are up for it — you will get the massage of your life.
Be careful or you may find yourself addicted! It’s THAT good.

I forgot to include this review when I did my big South Florida write up, apologies. The only possible explanation was that I was put into such a relaxed state after my massage here, that it slipped my mind.
So yeah, I booked a massage for myself and one for my cousin a day in advance. It was nice that they could take us with such short notice.
The place was relatively easy to find, even for a tourist, located in a strip mall. Like many massage places, it was pretty chill on the inside. After a short wait and some paperwork, we were both shown our rooms.
My therapist was pretty good. She worked my back, and it felt relaxing, which was the whole point. I was a little bit annoyed that the only option for music was the sort of new-​agey stuff that they had on in all the other rooms. The only option was for the music to be off, which didn’t exactly work, because it could still be heard everywhere else.
But aside from that, it was enjoyable. $ 75 for an hour seemed fair. I don’t know if I’d go back, but I’d at least give them a nod if I knew somebody that was going here.

Most massage places I used to go to seemed to give body rubs instead of massages. I do a lot of sports and at my age (40’s) I need good massages to keep the muscles feeling good. I like that when I tell the masseuse where it hurts that they really work that area to loosen it up.
I don’t get adjusted very often but on the few occasions where I needed it they did a great job. This is a big bonus because other chiropractors that I have gone to have troubles adjusting me.
The staff is very courteous. I have been coming here for about a year now and I will keep coming back

I normally don’t write reviews but I felt strongly that this little gem was worth it! I went originally for treatment of tennis elbow & for an adjustment, and ultimately tried the massage services. I not only was struck by the serene, spa-​like atmosphere (not pretentious) and the quality of the services rendered. The two massage therapists I tried were both wonderful. This is a charming and professional establishment. A definite must-​try!

I have been going to chiropractors for massages and therapy for a long time, but Body Kneads far exceeds any other experience. Their friendly and experienced massage therapists provide for a soothing and relaxing session in a spa-​like atmosphere. Their flexible hours allow me to make an appointment after a stressful day at work or stop by on a Saturday afternoon after the gym for some relief. I enjoy trying different therapists for their unique touch and varied specialties. The personal touch that Body Kneads owner, «Dr. Fred», gives separates them from the many «franchise» massage clinics. Body Kneads has become a Friday afternoon ritual for me and I highly recommend them to you!
