Now called something like British Pub — adjacent to a sonic.
Lovely atmosphere and extensive menu. We found the food and service excellent for a «pub» type place.
I’d definitely go there again
Tried — fish and chips, Reuben sandwich and onion rings — all wonderful.

It’s no longer called the pub at old Carolina. It is called the caddy shack café. It’s a new managed café /​pub. They’re working the kinks out but the burger and chicken tender baskets were good and the pub nachos with chicken was very good. Waitress was new but did a great job. Loved the sweet tea they had made me. My brother Didn’t care for the diet Pepsi. He stated the mixture of syrup to soda was off. But it was a very nice place to stop and eat In between two rounds of golf to fill up. Great job

A great hidden gem. After a long drive we found the Pub using Unilocal and decided to stop for a quick dinner. Its located in back of the main entry drive– not too hard to find, but you do have to look for it a little. Its has a large bar and decent size seating area inside, plus an outdoor area. Our server was excellent– very personable and attentive the whole time. The food was excellent as well– we split a plate of nachos, followed by a reuben sandwich with mac and cheese, which they were kind enough to split as well. The sandwich was fantastic– easily on par with any NY reuben Ive had. And the mac and cheese was baked to perfection. If I lived in the area I would be a regular.

Pleasantly surprised by a wonderful lunch at this bar and grill located next to the Old Carolina Golf Shop. Food was delicious. Reuben was the best ever tasted (including NYC) and the grilled shrimp were especially tasty with a zingy marinade. I am a stickler for good unsweetened ice tea and cole slaw — both were perfect. We’ll be back for Prime Rib night every Wednesday and happy hour. Very nice bar and the service was GREAT!
