Paula wax waxing On me and did not use lighted magnifier and I even asked her to, «I can see okay.» She did not put the roll under my knees when I was lying on my back. Not professional. Sarah does a great job waxing me. She is so professional unlike Paula. Will never use Paula again. Only Sarah. Although once, Sarah was waxing around my lip; got wax on my lip; ripped off some of the skin on my lip and it bled. She felt terribly. So did I. It was Christmas Eve.
Tried to talk to Quenlyn once about getting a foot stool for people like me who have short legs and a bad back for when we sit by the dryers. She kept walking away from me when I was talking to her and asking her to get a footstool. «We have lots of them» she said. No they don’t because I had just asked a technician if I could use one. She said they don’t have any. Quenlyn was very rude and lied. I always keep my purse with me because I’ve heard of several thefts there. Also, parking is horrible and difficult to find a spot.

I am grateful that Denise at Quenlyn & Co. takes such good care of my mother — for about 35 years now — at least one other salon during that time (though I believe she’s been with Quenlyn for quite awhile at this point). The salon is usually a pleasantly humming beehive of activity when we visit (every 3 weeks), and the front desk staff handles all the various needs expertly — teaming up with stylists to good effect. Denise truly cares for my mother as she shampoos and styles her hair, throughout the visit from start to finish — kindly sharing various relevant tips with me if wanted! Truly a gem.

Went to Quenlyn and Co. Today for an eyebrow wax and a facial. First of all, the salon is very nice, not pretentious. Paula was the esthetician who took care of me. She was professional and did a fantastic job onto
Eyebrows. She then moved onto the facial part of my appt. THIS was so awesome. I have never had a better or more informative facial. My skin is gloriously soft and glows! I was taken care of so well I would make an appt every week! Paula was so great, I definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a great facial. She takes her time and gives you info on all products she has used at the end. She made me feel so comfortable! Quenlyn and Co. Is awesome!

I’ve never had a worse manicure!!! The women who did my nails was sloppy and I could have done a better job myself!!! It’s not even worth the groupon price!!! She didn’t soak my hands, only trimmed 2 cuticles and my nails were all different lengths. I will never go back!!!

I give props to anyone who can make my nails look «nice.» Yes, I am biter. I quit biting for awhile, but for some reason, I quit quitting. So every time I go into a nail salon and shamefully place my clenched hands on the table, I am just waiting for the manicurist to say, «Sorry, I can’t help you.»
Amber (the manicurist I went to) took a deep breath and said, «Open your hands.» note: I had warned her they were bad. And to my utter surprise, she said, «Oh these aren’t that bad. I’ve seen worse. We can fix these up»
How my nails did a complete 180 from when I walked in there to when I left, I’m still confused about– but I’m telling you. she worked some magic and my nails were shiny and new…
Prices are reasonable there too– $ 20ish for a mani. not bad!
