Exotic Wings and Things

The drive thru was quick. My chicken wings could’ve had more lemon pepper seasoning. The Cajun ranch fries wasn’t drenched with to much dressing, which I liked. The peach tea was too sweet, could have used less sugar.

This was by far one of the worst experiences of my life! I ordered the hot dog combo (#30). The hot dogs were so tough and old! I was hungry… so, I managed to eat one. The fries were under cooked. The meal was cold when I got it… we ordered carry out… and, brought it literally less than a mile to eat! My friend had the philly cheese steak. Which was the size of a hot dog… and, even he had trouble eating the meat! On a brighter note… another friend ordered the philly combo… hers turned out to be really good! Just a word of advice… when your hot dogs look leathery… throw them out and make fresh ones! I won’t waste my time ever again.

One of my favorite places to get wings in Birmingham (There and American deli). I’ve moved and came home for the holidays and this place was my first stop! I always get a wing combo with the lava sauce, ranch fries, and the fruit punch. It always seems so comforting to me. I will say that the last time I ate their wings they weren’t as spicy as I remember. They were kind of bland. But based off of overall experience there, I’ll still give them 4 stars.

Love it! My boyfriend is addicted and eats their lava wings all the time. No kidding we order from here once or twice a week!

Honestly one of my favorite wing spots in bham since I went to school at UAB. I graduated three years ago, but whenever I’m in town and I want wings this is where I go…
Why you ask? Well for one I hate chain restaurants, they rarely meet your expectations for what you pay with portions and quality. I’m not a snob, I understand what dreamland is I know its not Saw’s (if you don’t know what this is, then you haven’t really experienced bhams food offerings), but I know what I’m getting… solid food for a somewhat reasonable price.
But at Exotic wings I get great wings I go lemon pepper or the ranch wings. Cheap and great portions and the fries are solid too. The wings are consistent and I don’t have to pay ridiculous prices and I still get great wings.
And on top of that they’re always open. Idk a better more cost effective wing spot in DT Bham.
PS ranch fries are dope as well.

Typical wing spot. No frills here. Menu has a large selection. I’m a huge fan of the fish and the corn nuggets. Service is mediocre but it is good enough to keep me coming back.

If you like pregnant roaches, rat traps with a side of dirty fish, then this is the spot for you. Nasty with a capital N. We just threw $ $ 20 worth of food, trash by the way was located on the side of our table. Stay far away from this place! Never going back!

If you have a taste for wings or fried fish, this place had what you need. Nothing exceptional about-​it just satisfies. They have a variety of wing flavors and you can mix em (half teriyaki/​half lemon pepper). They fry fry whiting and catfish. Fries? Yep, regular, cajun or drizzled in ranch dressing. All meals come with a side salad (gotta balance out all the fried food ya know?). The hot sauce packets suck-​they should put bottles of real hot sauce on table.
Location is not the cleanest but i expect that from a lil hole in the wall –it kinda adds to the experience. Growing up we called them «greasy spoons” — dirty but the food is so good til ya dont care (well…you care a lil bit but it won’t usually stop you-​lol).
Prices are reasonable. Portions are hefty. They also cater-​you can order a platter of 1000 wings-​WTH? And I think it costs only $ 60 bucks.
Kids review: loved the teriyaki, lemon pepper and mild hot wings. Grilled cheese was good but fries over seasoned. Ranch fries got a ⁵⁰⁄₅₀.
Adults: fried whiting a bit fishy. Catfish excellent. Cajun fries great.
Worth checking out.

Best wings in birmingham! They make all their sauces from scratch and your wings/​fries cooked fresh. Try any of their sauces (honey BBQ, honey mustard, and Cajun ranch are my favorites) with either garlic or lemon pepper sprinkled on them. They also serve tons of other items such as burgers, fries, delicious salads, and even seafood! If I could, I would eat here everyday! Too bad I live in Georgia.
