This definitely makes the list as one of my favorite steakhouses! My family and I come here pretty often and it never gets old. The steak is so delicious, the salads and sides are really yummy too! It’s fairly easy to get reservations here and they offer valet parking in front. The wait staff is always friendly and efficient. They also have a good selection of wine and cocktails.

We went out for dinner for the first time. Upon our arrival we were greeted warmly by the hostess, and promptly seated. Our waitress was very knowledgeable and pleasant. I’ve had bad experiences at other steakhouses who served over cooked meat, and was apprehensive. I ordered the rib eye steak medium rare, with cream corn, and spinach. The steak was perfectly cooked, and very juicy and flavorful. I’ll definitely go back to try the other dishes. It was casual dressy, and atmosphere kind of dark and romantic. I recommend this place if you want a delicious dinner.

Made a 9pm reservation and arrived at 8:55pm. We were told we would be seated ‘close to our reservation time.’ At 9:15pm we happened to be close to the hostess stand and heard 3 different people ask when they would be seated. All 3 of them had 8:45pm reservations and were told they would be seated ‘soon.’ When I asked the hostess to be honest with me and tell me when we could expect to be seated she said it would probably be closer to 9:45pm — 45 minutes after our late reservation and definitely not what we were told when we arrived. I can understand being busy and the complication of timing guests as they finish their meals but this was ridiculous, unprofessional and not what I expect from a high-end restaurant. Very disappointing.

This is my all time favorite steak house. Even tho the one in the Marina is close to me, I always come here. Even tho my guy Mark isn’t in the restaurant anymore, I still hit up Beverly Hills to get my fix.

We were there first time and yes food was so great HOWEVER our waitress never showed up our table at all. Took forever to figured out to other waitress so wondering about our table. Finally one of waitress came and started help our table and became our table waitress. Also manager came apologized and they gave us free desert. So yes after she took care of our table everything was great BUT … Umm??? Why original waitress didn’t want to serve our table? Never showed up? Cuz we are Not WTite ppl??? That’s I felt. Thank you very much. So sad experience here even very nice restaurant, steak was great too. We go nice restaurants in Beverly Hills occasionally but never happened before… I don’t recommend this restaurant but I DO recommend waitress name Sarah! Very kind nice cute lady works there. Thank you Sarah changed to everything great way and was 4 our New Year’s dinner. We appreciated your service cuz didn’t want to ruin New Year’s dinner. We probably won’t back there but still appreciate your service.

I was treated here to dinner by my aunt who shares the same birthday. I started off with a holiday inspired Bellini with Grand Marnier but it wasn’t to my liking(had a weird aftertaste) so I opted for the blueberry mojito instead. YUM! I chose the surf and turf combo — filet mignon with lobster tails and they were both delicious! The filet was cooked medium(I may venture into medium rare one day) and while tender, it wasn’t quite as tender as the one I had at the Pasadena location so I’m not sure what’s up with that. The lobster tails were divine! We shared sides family style: mashed potatoes, spinach and asparagus. I’d skip the asparagus next time, it was pretty bland. The mashed potatoes were buttery and fluffy, just how I like them! The service was an 8 out of 10. Our server had a bubbly personality and was very knowledgable about the menu but there were a few times we couldn’t find her. All in all this is great for a date night or to celebrate special occasions, unless of course you’re ballin and this is a run-of-the-mill dinner for you. In that case, HOLLA!!!

We had a lovely lunch on Christmas day-a day most other nice restaurants are closed-and it was excellent! we both chose the three course prix fixe«favorites» menu, I had the ribye(opted for the larger cut for $ 4 more) while my friend had the fillet. One thing I noticed was the steaks were much larger than advertised on the menu– both of our steaks were huge! The salads(House and Caesar) were perfectly prepared, the steaks were great-tender and as ordered– the sides were tasty and very rich. I had the dessert included in the menu while my friend chose to upgrade to a chocolate duo dessert($ 4 upcharge) and both of us were very happy. The service was great, charming, polite and efficient. BTW– the place was PACKED so a huge shout out to Open Table for help in making the reservation.

Haven’t been here for years but wanted to go back. Place was smaller than I remembered but nice looking. We had the harvest salad and oso bucco ravioli to start. Liked the salad better. Entrees were filet, lamb chops and salmon. We added mashed potatoes and broccoli. All of them were delicious and generous. Our server Rafael was great. One of the Lakers was at the next table. Not too shabby. Came back for another birthday celebration and had an equally enjoyable meal. This time we did the Ruth’s classics where you choose a starter, entrée side & dessert. Very generous and delicious way to go.

Whenever you get great food, cocktails and a relaxing ambiance the experience is good. When the service is impeccable the experience in fantastic and keeps you coming back. Kudos to the team at Ruth’s Chris BH for consistently being my first choice for a reasonably priced meal. From beautiful hostesses to pleasant servers and continuing throughout the evening with the mouth watering filet mignon. RC is one of my favorite restaurants for so many reasons. My go to spot whenever I travel to unfamiliar places, never disappointed.

Lobster was pretty good. Steak was good. Had ribeye and filet mignon. Creamed spinach was better than Mac and cheese was better than mashed potatoes was better than the dessert-turtle soufflé thing. They were very nice and festive about my mom’s birthday. Gave us ice cream with the desert

Eat It OR Beat It? **B…EATIT!!** Why I am writing a review for a chain steakhouse like Ruth’s Chris I don’t know… but the food snob in my tells me I don’t like chain«fancy» restaurants. Nevertheless, the steak isn’t bad nor it is good. If you’ve had better steak such as CUT or Peter Luger’s or Mastro’s, than you know what’s up. Otherwise, this place is A-OK. B… EATIT!

I love this location. From beginning to end they have great Customer Service. I called them last minute for a reservation, because of our phone number they recognized us by name based on previous visits. This immediately of course makes us feel appreciated. The valet is cordial and the sitting is quick. Bread/butter and water(either sparkling or flat) is immediately offered and menus brought. It’s as if they were expecting us :). My petite was perfectly cooked and my baked potato with toppings was just the right size, with just the right amount of each of the toppings. My husband ordered the cowboy stake medium rare and it was just as he requested. The die string fries are perfectly seasoned and fresh. At the end…(After we left) — we got a called from the manager to let us know that we had forgotten our credit card. And although we had just left and they obviously knew who we were — they asked me to show them ID before releasing my credit card back to me. I am thankful for the extra precaution. I recommend this location.

Great steakhouse with dim lighting and tasty food as well as bar seating. The location is not particularly large and the dining area is rectangular so it fits booths lining the wall, side by side to each other so that patrons are surrounded by less people as opposed to an open room with a cluster of tables and traffic. While the food was good but nothing over the top spectacular, the meat and flavoring of the dishes were quality. I really enjoyed the prime rib… And the shoestring fried were crunchy, delicious and came in a very large cone shaped bowl that couldn’t be finished despite all our efforts… The employees are pleasant and parking isn’t always easily available but they have valet

There is no other way to put this: Ruth’s Chris ranks in the top 5 steakhouses I have tried in So Cal. I attend a fair amount of presentations & stick to the same general meal. I select salmon at steak joints for my own personal reason(generous portion size). Plus, there’s no way I can eat steak as many nights per month as I attend these functions. In my encounters, I meet all the valet & restaurant, greeters & staff. I see all the bathrooms. Etc. This place scores 100%. The West Hills location is only 2nd to Beverly Hills. They rock!

The DineLA was SUCH a good deal. For $ 50 you get: appetizer(choice of 3 different salads or their chicken and sausage gumbo), 12 oz ribeye, a side, and dessert(cheesecake and truffles). In the regular menu the same ribeye is $ 45, so this is a steal! The ribeye was absolutely delicious. The temperature was PERFECT, so hot and searing, and sizzling on my plate. The meat melted in my mouth and outside was perfectly crisp, inside juicy and perfectly pink(medium, just how i love it) The service was great and had a great time slowly enjoying my meal. Definitely will go back.

We had a fabulous late night dinner here last night. Thank you Rafael! And thank you to the GM who offered me the wifi code so we could watch Netflix on my iPad! Calamari and Ravioli to start, then we shared the chicken, the broccoli au gratin and the sweet potato casserole with a side of vanilla ice cream. We had two bottles of the Moscato d’Asti Marchesi di Barolo, a perfect pairing!

DineLA 2015: Chicken gumbo was a little on the peppery side, but good. Not too salty as some have claimed. I liked dipping the bread into the gumbo. LOL The creamed spinach came together with my medium rare 12oz rib eye steak. It was sizzling on the plate but the waiter was thoughtful enough to put it away from the edge of the table, away from me, so the oil doesnt splatter onto me. The creamed spinach has a single-layer flavor, and it was so very subtly salty, so if you eat it after the steak, it will taste pretty bland. You gotta clean your palate between the spinach and the steak with water so best appreciate each dish. I have mixed feelings about the rib eye. On the first cut, the seasonings and melted butter really flavored the steak well. But after the 5th bite, it was starting to taste bland. I had to add a little salt and pepper to it. After a while I decided to press the meat into the puddle of it’s own juice and it was much better. I stopped eating once the meat was cold. It was not nice at all when cold. So eat quickly! The chocolate turtle cheesecake and chocolate bark was a pleasant ending to the meal. I loved the sides of the cheesecake more than the inside. And the bottom too! I loved it. I barely touched the bark, I dont fancy too much sugar. And I’m already utterly filled by this point. The staff was the highlight of this meal. The host was on it, I was seated within 2 seconds. The server was very friendly and on the chatty side, and so was the manager. Both of them kept checking in on me about my meal. I thought it was cute. I came here alone to eat in peace, but maybe they didnt want me to feel lonely. LOL. During my order, Fransisco(I think that’s the name of my server) told me that if I found anything unsatisfactory, he’ll gladly take it away and replace it for me. The creamed spinach, the steak, the gumbo. I thought it was nice of him to offer to do so. But alas I didnt have to return anything. The server who cleared my table also automatically asked if I wanted my unfinished creamed spinach to go. That sort of proactiveness earns one full star for service. Interesting observation, on Sunday Feb 1, the last day of dineLA, which also happens to be a superbowl night, most of the patrons were Asians. I’m not trying to be racist at all. It’s just an observation. During my whole meal, at least 12 parties that arrived were all Asians, and only 2 parties were non-Asians. Is it because it’s DineLA? Or Superbowl? Or Asians heart Ruth’s Chris? Really… I need to do some sleuthing.
