I have never written a bad review for anyone, but I really felt I should write something because of the way I was treated by this office today. I wish I could give them 0 stars. 1. annual fee(250 for two child). still don’t know why or how is that even legal? 2. Long wait time. They will send you in a room and you can wait sometimes as long as 45 minutes before you are seen by Dr. Nagel 3. Extremely rude office staff(except Angie. she is always nice and friendly:) 4. Once Dr. Nagel comes in, he will rush you. He will never spends more than 10 minutes in a room with you 5. Staff response to your questions or concerns: we are busy, if you are not happy, leave. I am transferring both of my kids out and I will make sure I will never set foot in that office again.

This is the very first time in my life I am writing any kind of review for goods or services, but the events that took place earlier today, August 9, 2013, at Dr. Nagle’s office have left me no other choice but to do what I am doing right now. My 8.5 month old daughter had an appointment(general checkup/vaccines) scheduled for 10 a.m. with Dr. Nagle earlier today, however due to the severe traffic as a result of an ongoing construction on the Coldwater Canyon we were running about 20 minutes late(my family lives in Burbank and Dr. Nagle’s office is located in Beverly Hills). As a courtesy, I telephoned Dr. Nagle’s office at 9:55 a.m., introduced myself and explained that after being on the road for an hour there was no way we would be there at 10:00 a.m. The person who answered the telephone at Dr. Nagle’s office was very rude with me and she said we should get there by no later than 10:20 a.m. We walked in to Dr. Nagle’s office at approximately 10:23 a.m. I apologized once again to Dr. Nagle’s staff for being late and explained that we had an appointment with Dr. Nagle. 10 minutes later I was told that Dr. Nagle(who was still in the office seeing other patients) won’t be able to see us today apparently because we were late for the 10:00 a.m. appointment so I should reschedule the appointment for a different date. I tried to explain that not only I will need to take another day off at work to do so, but, most importantly, my infant baby who already was in the car for 1.5 hour would need to have another 3 hour trip on a different date. The office administrator/manager told us that after speaking with Dr. Nagle twice, Dr. Nagle confirmed that he won’t see my daughter today. It was very disappointing for a number of reasons. First, the average waiting time in Dr. Nagle’s office(to see Dr. Nagle) is approximately 30 – 45 minutes or more. Second, Dr. Nagle does not spend more than 5 – 10 minutes with you/your child. Third, despite promised 1 hour to receive return phone call if may take up to 24 – 48 hours until someone calls back(not always even Dr. Nagle). Fourth, Dr. Nagle’s office charges $ 250 annually(for two kids) flat administrative fee for who knows what. Fifth, and perhaps the most important, we are talking about a cute little 8 month old girl who probably suffered the most this morning(!). Dr. Nagle, you are a pediatrician who supposedly devoted life to children!!! It’s time to become a human being. I am not saying that my child should be treated specially by you or your office, not at all, but kids are not always business … She did not get her vaccines today, and she won’t get her vaccines until the middle of September now because most of the reputable pediatricians in LA are completely booked(especially given that the school starts in one week). It was not difficult to accommodate and, at least, to instruct the staff to do the required shots. I could have waited for an hour or so this morning if it was in fact that busy in the morning, but nobody wanted to speak with me. Staff showed attitude(kind of «you are not the only patient of Dr. Nagle, if you want to leave, go ahead»). Moreover, knowing about the conflict, Dr. Nagle has not even tried to attempt to resolve the issues. Very frustrating, lack of respect, lack of care, disappointing and I will definitely find someone else who really cares about my two kids. Kateryna B.

Dr. Nagel is a very warm, wonderful Dr. He is, however, NEVER on time… You need to know this going in. I love his bedside demeanor and he is very gentle with out son. His practice is open to alternative vaccine schedules, but they require vaccines. You also must pay a yearly admin fee.
