Came here last week and actually it’s my first time. Great friendly customer service which is what got me to go inside. I stopped to look at their menu of drinks and one the barista helped me to choose the best drink to try. He is very friendly, helpful and was so patient in explaining the coffee. He recommended a great drink for me! :) Blue Moon Tea — YUM! Delicious. I enjoyed it. I’m sure on my next visit he can help me find a perfect coffee drink for me. I really enjoyed my first visit in this café and I would definitely come back.

Cute little shop that is like a more authentic Teavana. I loved how they had samples of their dried tea leaves and mixes for you to smell. From a piña colada one to a rooibos toffee, this tea shop has a variety that will satisfy all tastes. Decided to order their ginger lemon decaf herbal tea. Nothing to complain about but also nothing to rave about. Very soothing but tasted similar to something I could make at home. A little pricey in my opinion but worth the try. I only wish that the customer service was a little more professional and that was seating inside. My friend and I wanted a place to sit and study and had to walk around looking for the nearest Coffee Bean/Starbucks after haha.

Friendly staff and great selection of teas. Wanted a caffeine-free tea with a fruity, hibiscus taste and ended up with Pandora’s Box. Will be back. Don’t forget to check in for BOGO offer!

Friendly and helpful staff, small and cute shop. The basanti thai over ice was delicious! It has a wonderful flavor with the delicate creaminess that Thai tea has too. I’m excited to see what else the shop has, but I’m also worried about getting something that’s not as good. The smallest ice drink size is 12 oz. There’s also 16 and another size or two. A little grid filled with mini tins of their tea offerings sits on the counter so you can smell the dry leaf mix before you try it. There’s a menu board posted outside so you don’t have to stare through through window in order to decide whether or not you’re potentially interested in ordering anything.

Small tea shop located in Beverly Hills by Rodeo Drive, selling teas to brew and to drink on the spot. They have lots of tea options and I went for two of their speciality teas. The tiger matcha was a blend of matcha with coconut. I had mine with almond milk and it was perfect! I also took advantage of their bogo with Unilocal check in and ordered the coconut moon, which was a white tea with coconut. Both super creamy and delicious! If you’re in the area, definitely stop by!

This place is really great. The owner has been there every time I’ve came inside, and she explains every tea thoroughly, helping you choose the perfect tea you’re looking for. Her passion for the brand was noticeable, and added a nice touch. They also sell cookies from the company Deluscious, which are one of my favorites. Great alternative if you want to experiment with teas and are looking for something other than Teavana

You wanna talk great, it’s here. Good knowledgeable baristas, product is amazing, they have exactly what you want every time. Couldn’t be more happy that someone finally got the tea revolution underway.

The Tiger Matcha is a dream come true – matcha green tea with a coconutty flavor, available with regular, soy, or almond milk. I chose almond, of course, and couldn’t have been happier. The matcha flavor, I will say, was less prominent in this drink than others I’ve tried. The coconut was more pronounced. Just something to keep in mind. Being a tea boutique, I’m sure that Basanti also offers pure matcha beverages, exhibiting the flavor profile you’d come to expect from this particular tea. As others have mentioned, Basanti is housed in a serene, gorgeous space. Outdoor seating is also available, and totally suggest taking advantage of this option since California is blessed with perpetually sunny weather. Service was polite and helpful. And despite being located in one of the most expensive areas in the nation, Basanti felt quite accessible and not too froufrou. Pass on Starbucks, and go here instead if you’re in need of some refreshments while exploring the neighborhood.

Great tea selections and vibes in this small but quaint/urban tea bar. Rafael took the time to show as well as explain the different types of tea Basanti carried as well as effects from each one. He was patient and kept an interested demeanor when I asked all my questions and expressed my doubts about certain teas. After about 15 minutes of uncertainty Rafael recommended the Tiger Matcha. It was nothing that I’ve ever tasted and was very very good. In the end I would love to have a Basanti tea bar where I live(New York), and wouldn’t mind having such a knowledgable, extremely nice, and attractive barista like Rafael. Thank you Basanti!

I’ve walked by this cute little tea shop several times & had an urge to stop in this time. First & foremost, the staff who helped me was extremely inviting & lovely. Aside from the warm décor, I was blown away by the tea I ordered! I ordered the Tiger Matcha over ice with Almond Milk… It’s perfection, wow. Definitely stop in here & you won’t regret it!

Stopped by Basanti on our way to Starbucks oddly enough and we were drawn here instead. Quick spontaneous decision made by my friend who saw the mango chai! I however love matcha so I got the tiger matcha which was a mix of matcha, white tea, and coconut. The gent who assisted me told me that he likes his iced and with almond milk so I trusted his taste buds and ordered mine the same way. I was beyond impressed with my drink I would definitely order it again or any of the matcha varieties. The man who helped me was really nice and patiently answered the questions my friends and I had. This is definitely a go to place for when I visit LA.

I abhor coffee, but I’m obsessed with tea. Crazy? I know, but this place is wonderful and appeased all my tea demands. There were a multitude of delicious flavors to choose from, and I still rave about the coconut black teaspresso I had! It was wonderful and just the mere tea granules smelt like heaven. I definitely recommend for tea lovers because there is something for every tea lover! They have a huge selection of green, red, fruity, and black teas and they can be enjoyed au natural or into a little espresso version which I loved! Amazing customer service as well.

I was walking by and happened to see the picture of the Basanti Dulce advertised on the banner outside. On another day, I had walked by at night when the shop was closed and it really looks like a cute, hip shop to try out. The Basanti Dulce has a really strong Chai flavor. It’s very sweet and creamy, so it really hit my sweet tooth craving on a hot day. We were probably the only true customers there as the barristas seemed to be close friends with the other party seated inside. Friendly service – thank you, Rafael! He brought my drink to me while I was waiting outside, which is nice because sometimes people just call you to the counter to pick it up yourself. Apparently there’s a Unilocal check-in deal which I saw too late. Next time! I was told sometimes there’s a deal and sometimes there isn’t. So check Unilocal and use it before you order. I’ll likely be back to try other drinks!

Great friendly customer service which is what got me to go inside. I stopped to look at their menu of drinks and the friendly woman called out to me, but not in a salesperson, annoying way. Just very helpful and nice. Went with a tea with agave added into it and it was pretty good. Not really a big tea drinker, but was thirsty so stopped in. Cute place, small, with a store and some foods too, with indoor and outdoor seating, but very very limited.

Interesting. I have no business reviewing a Beverly Hills tea spot, but I’ll do it anyway :) Selection is large, prices are steep, and service is friendly. I wouldn’t go out of my way to come here, but neither BH or tea is huge in my life.

Basanti is a cool little tea shop located right off of Rodeo Dr in Beverly Hills. Personally, I think a high end tea shop is long overdue for this area so I’m glad they finally put one in. Inside this small little establishment is a plethora of tea options, pretty much everything your tea loving heart would desire, they have. Ordered the mango tea iced and it was delicious. The service here is solid and they’re very friendly/suggestive with their tea offerings. My advice would be to smell the tea and pick the one that smells the best for you and order that, you’ll likely not be disappointed. Pros– Tea selection Service Taste Ambiance Outdoor pet friendly seating Location Free taste of the tea of the day Cons– Pricey $ 7 for a cookie?! Limited parking
