I think this might have been a 5,000 calorie snack stop. But the chocolate milk shake is delicious. Real ice cream, real chocolate syrup, and real milk, all blended together into delicious.
They also have a big freezer of cakes — perfect for special occasions. I love Carvel, and until this story did not even realize they have stand alone stores!
The clientele is a bit odd (couple making out in the lobby), but I guess they were just excited about the ice cream.

You literally can’t go wrong with anything here. I’ve been getting ice-​cream at this location since I was a kid. This is where I first tried mint chocolate chip, which remains my favorite flavor to this day. The ice-cream’s soft-​serve, so if you’re planning on eating it in the car you’re probably better off with a shake. My mom loves those. Also try out the flying saucers. They come in chocolate or vanila and are absolutely delicious.
