Salon Nader is awesome. I have been going to Maria for 5+ years. She always takes care of me. I am a bit picky with my haircuts and she takes the time to listen to my concerns. I enjoy the entire experience– Nader runs a nice show. He kindly greets me when I walk in. The front desk staff is very professional and make scheduling easy with follow up/​confirmation calls. The ladies who wash you’re hair take their time and make you feel comfortable. The entire experience is easy.

Overpriced. Take your money elsewhere and get a better quality for the same.

HORRIBLE!!! I recently moved to the area and have been having a tough time finding a good colorist. I spoke with Nader, the owner, several times about what I wanted. He claimed he understood, yet he said, «you don’t have to come to me. I already have plenty of clients.» That should have been my sign to run far, far away, but I really hoped being the owner, he would know what he was doing. WRONG! The color would have looked better if I had done it myself and it was NOT what I asked for. When I tried to talk to him about it, he wouldn’t listen. What a waste of time and money. Owner or not, Nader is NOT a professional. His technique stinks and his arrogant attitude is even worse. I cannot imagine anyone giving HIM a positive review!

It was the worst experience. I showed him the photo that I wanted my hair to be and he did the worst haircut!

I scheduled my daughter for a blow dry. Picked her up and was presented with a $ 70 bill. Blow dry should be $ 30, they said it was because they curled her hair. Not ok. Called the owner to discuss and he never called back. They lost my family’s business over $ 40 overcharge and no customer service.

Horrible service way over priced haircut for what was done. Definitely won’t be going back here

Blake has been cutting my hair for years. I followed him to Salon Nader from another local salon. Blake is awesome — always does a great job and makes you feel totally welcome. Reading some of the other reviews, I’d agree it is a more expensive option and usually a pretty busy place. The waiting area consists of 2 or 3 chairs right inside the door but honestly, I’ve always had an appointment and never waited more than a few minutes beyond my appointment time. My hair is completely straight and super fine so a good cut really counts. Generally, I’ve found people to be friendly but most importantly, Blake is worth every penny!

This review is for Heather, who does her magic at Salon Nader. Heather is amazing!!! Been going to her for two years now (every 6 to 8 weeks) and have always left the salon very Happy!!! She is attentive and will help you choose the style that best fits your personality, face and style. She pays attention to detail and gives you true recommendations. She is up to date on the latest looks and will help you find a look that you will be truly happy with. I constantly change my look, going from longer to super funky short hair and she always delivers. Book with Heather!!!

I came to Salon Nader because my hairstylist Fia moved here from another salon. Fia is fantastic, sweet, and way cooler than I am (which to be fair, isn’t very cool… but really, she is), and I’ve always loved what she does with my hair. The salon itself is fine — a bit crowded and tight with too much hustle and bustle for my taste, not exactly what I would call a relaxing atmosphere. If you’re looking for that, maybe head to an Elizabeth Arden instead. As another reviewer commented, there really isn’t a seating area, so it might be uncomfortable if you have your kids with you. But if you want a great haircut, I highly recommend Fia at Salon Nader! I also got my eyebrows done here once, and she did a great job.

Heather is fantastic, knowledgeable and creative. It is so nice to go into a salon knowing your stylist has a grand level of expertise so you always leave feeling and looking fabulous. I highly recommend Heather whether you want a drastic new look or a simple trim.

Terrible, terrible, terrible! Oh how I wish I had checked Unilocal first! I went here for a basic facial waxing. There were no prices displayed nor types of payment accepted. I made my appointment and shopped around at adjoining businesses while I waited for 30 minutes. When I returned the staff was rude and ignored me standing right in front of them for over 5 minutes. When I was taken to the back for waxing, I asked how much it would cost for my chin and lip… $ 35… OUCH! So I decided to just get my lip done at $ 15… OUCH! I figured this was the price to pay for beauty in Bethesda. The esthetician was great and the waxing was almost painless. After the pleasant experience with the ethsetician I was ready to pay and pulled out my American Express card. One would assume that they would accept this form of payment at such an over-​priced, posh salon. The lady informed me that they did not accept it. I understand all of the greed coming from less expensive areas of town and not accepting ALL forms of payment… But at this place? How greedy! I paid $ 15 for a lip wax and they did not accept American Express. That is completely unacceptable! What a greedy little man. I will not be back and will tell everyone on Unilocal to beware of this over-​priced salon. After reading all of the other reviews, thank goodness I did not opt for a haircut as well!

I’ve gotten my hair cut here by Giti when I’ve visited DC. And it’s the only place I’d go outside of my usual salon in New York. She was sweet and attentive. She did a fantastic job and I just loved the way she styled it.
Definitely will be back when I’m in DC!!!

I love Nader as a stylist. He is hands down the best hairdresser in the DC metro area. His skill is phenomenal. I go to him whenever I want something really flattering. dramatic, and cutting edge (no pun intended). He is really good at cutting your hair to flatter your face. Not many hairstylists can do that successfully. If you go to him. I recommend you let him do what he wants.

When I’m in town, I go to get a haircut from Blake. He’s fantastic on my Asian hair. He takes time and listens. I recommend him.

I have been searching for a stylist since we moved back to the area a year ago. Salon Nader was another attempt. The stylist I had was excellent with color, but she fit two other people in while I was supposed to be getting the color washed out of my hair. Bottom line: I spent all day in the salon, waiting for her to squeeze in as many clients as necessary. The atmosphere is fun and funky, but it is WAY too crowded… People were lined up by the bathroom waiting for their stylist to finish other customers. There is no real waiting area either, so don’t bring your kids with you!
