Ruby Thai

This place is better than Panda Express, especially since it’s a little bit sweeter (and I have a huge sweet tooth!) you get a lot of food for pretty cheap.

Tasty, large portions, and cheap. Not a bad option for the food court at moco mall. Mango chicken and bang chicken were pan fried crispy and the pad Thai was food court fantastic.

I’m a big fan of this place. The portions are big, especially considering the price. I love the mango chicken (even if it doesn’t taste like mango at all). They are always super friendly and encourage you to sample new dishes. This is my go-​to place for relatively inexpensive mall food.

This is NOT Thai food. This is Chinese food with some pad Thai noodles as an option. I have no clue how they call themselves Thai Kitchen.
— Food is alright… hopefully no MSG.
— Customer service was pleasant. The cashier was very nice.
— It was clean looking. The food station was all separate without things overflowing into each food option… no rice into the lo mein.
— They wear plastic gloves when serving your food.

I go here at least once a week because I work in the mall and I prefer this place verses all the other places in the food court. Awesome food to get quickly, pretty reasonably priced. LOVE the mango chicken it’s way too addicting

This place isn’t legit Thai cuisine but what else do you expect from a fast food joint? You wouldn’t expect authentic Chinese food from Panda Express. Anyhow, if you want Asian food at Montgomery Mall, I would suggest this place over Panda. The spicy chicken and the green curry are both good options but that’s only if you can handle spice. They also have a frequent buyer card so make sure to ask for that.

Should get some kind of award for the smallest protein portions in the state. They basically fill the plate up with rice. Much better options available at the mall. Pass.

This place is great!
Their mango chicken is fantastic and they definitely give you your moneys worth. The staff is also very nice which makes it easy to come back. I will agree with the other reviewer that this is not the most authentic Thai food, but it is tasty, and your 8 dollars will go a long way.

You have to set your expectations accordingly considering this is mall-​cuisine… but for mall cuisine, this place is sub par. We went there last night and wanted to give Ruby a a shot. We ordered the «seafood» noodle soup, and a 3-​thing combo from the chow-​line. The noodle soup was probably the freshest made item there… they throw some Chinese cabbage and other veggies into a boiler, drop in some «seafood» and serve it up. The noodle soup consisted of absolutely tasteless broth, a few pieces of fake crab (pollock), some chunks of what I think may have been fish cakes, and 3 or 4 shrimp, plus noodles and veggies. The soup was utterly tasteless and after a few attempts at eating it, I just tossed it.
The chow-​line consisted of several dishes that at my guess were made hours ago. The grilled chicken was gristly, and the noodles had mostly dried up under the heat lamp.
The Thai iced tea was ok.

I like Mango chicken here it’s good. Btw… this place sells Fake Thai food. Nothing tastes like THAI FOOD.

Spicy teriyaki chicken is decent. Prices are good for what you get.

It’s fast food Thai. Less authentic. More America meets Thai meets Mcdonald’s. My McThai lunch was decent. They were still cooking the fried wonton’s so I didn’t get any.
The Bang Bang Chicken was actually decent but I never ate something by this name. Is it supposed to blow up in my mouth? It didn’t. It fed my hunger. The Mango Chicken was very good buy I never saw that in a regular Thai restaurant. Service is fast — as it should be in a FAST food place. Price was OK.
Would I eat there again? Sure. It beats the other places in the food court at the time.
