Well Being Acupuncture

I’ve had a chronic hamstring issue for several years now. It got to a point where I wasn’t able to run. I’ve been to sports massage therapists, physical therapists, chiropractors, etc, for the issue with no tangible results. The president of my local running club referred me to WBA as he had a similar injury and told me Koala was excellent and that he no longer had the hamstring issue. After a few treatments, I was amazed to discover I no longer had the aggravating pain. I am now able to continue to train for the NYC marathon! Thank you Koala!!!

Koala helped me overcome aches and pains that I thought were caused by bone problems. He skilfully tested me and concluded that these were really muscular problems, which in one session he completely treated so that the pain went away. He also did the best intake interview that I have ever received from a health care person. From that first interview he assessed that the threatening digestive problems I had that no one could understand were actually irritable bowel syndrome and he successfully treated me for that. Through all of his work Koala has a very positive attitude and a great sense of humor, both of which are contagious. I highly recommend him.
Nadia’s presence is naturally healing. She exudes warmth, calmness, and unconditional acceptance of her patients which are a powerful part of her healing skills. She’s very bright, really treats the whole person, and has a confidence in her patients’ ability to heal themselves. She helped me truly stabilize my digestion and encouraged me to feel confident that all of my health concerns were really going to be addressed and healed. She treated me for them, and she was right! She and Koala are a real asset to our community. And they make acupuncture affordable! They are local treasures.

Nadia is a true gift to our community. She simply has this way of putting me at ease and comprehensively addressing me as a whole person, not just individual symptoms. Nadia Moredo at Well Being is the best acupuncturist you could hope for. Her treatments are meticulous and expert, and conducted with such care, calm, and goodwill that you’ll feel better just from the sheer pleasure of interacting with her. She REALLY knows her stuff, and will give you a comprehensive treatment that gets right to the heart of the matter. I have seen several acupuncturists before but nothing compares to this. And just when you thought things couldn’t get any better, Nadia tells you about her sliding scale, which means even poor students like myself can afford to have acupuncture regularly. There aren’t many practitioners in the Bay Area who would give you this level of service and only expect as little as $ 25 (of course, pay more if you can afford it). Unbelievable!
