in and out, i should have had the car waiting for me. i had called before hand, and my lazy self didnt make it in for 2 – 3 hours. they saw me get out of the car, opened the door for me. i told them i had called and they already had everything i wanted rung up, less than 5 mins with nothing but smiles. now my go to place in the bay. you guys rock. ^.^ ty for setting the mood for that days adventure!

I followed Jose from the SF location to now the Berkeley location. I had quite a few questions to ask so i decided to give Hydroponic Connection a ring. Luckily Jose picked up on the first try. He answered my questions in great detail and even made me consider some issues I may encounter. Stopped by the location and I was impressed with the availability of stock and layout of the store.

I have a brown thumb, but for some reason my roommate left me in charge of his plant while he went on vacation. It started to look pretty rough so I called him and he suggested I find a hydroponics store to talk me through nursing his plant back to a healthy life. Octavia helped me and was very knowledgeable and nice. She diagnosed the issue quickly and guided me to the product I needed and through the application process. She explained it thoroughly so that even my brown thumb couldn’t mess it up. I will definitely recommend this place to my roommate and anyone else looking for nice, polite, and knowledgeable staff to guide them through their horticulture needs.

I used to LOVE this place. The same 2 – 3 staff members worked this location for a while, and I got to know the staff. More recently (the last two months) there have been a lot more new, less friendly staff members. It’s almost like walking into a brand new store every time. I don’t go here anymore because it is a lot less welcoming.

The staff there are very friendly, capable people, that can help both the novice and expert customer get what they need. By far the best in the area if you’re looking for reliable advice and helpful customer service.

Solid spot. 95% of the time they have what I need. If they don’t they will order it and get in quick. Coming from back east I find the customer service at other places a bit lacking but this place gets me in and out quickly.

since I do organic gardening these folks can only help me with so much… but they did special order me a pallet of soil and gave me the best price ever! I love how honest and forthright these gentlemen are. Not sure about their knowledge on things, but I am super happy with the way they work. :)

One of the MOST legit places i have ever been. Not only do they have everything i needed in stock, but if it wasn’t in, they would drive to san francisco to pick it up the same day within 2 hours! Talk about fucking awesome. The prices are amazing. And even if they were high, they match any competitor. Sick as fuck. If you want the best service and money go here! they also have dogs that are really cute and nice. I just play with them and shop it’s amazing.
