This weekend we went looking for a Buddha statute for my garden. We had gone to many other statute companies which were either too overwhelming or did not have the quality of statue we were looking for. As soon as we walked in Gardensia, we felt tranquil. The owner was attentive and sweet and he gave us a great deal on a beautiful statute that now brings peace to our garden. A great experience and I would highly recommend to anyone.

Delightful, meditative, peaceful, unique, these words describe the sculpture Gardensia has to offer. The scale of the sculpture here is perfect for garden settings, spas or meditation rooms. They have a large inventory of Buddhas in various poses, all very high quality. If you are looking for that special piece, the one that you see and have to keep going back to, you will find it here.

Located near the Berkeley Bowl (Heinz), Gardensia is a hidden oasis of art pieces from Indonesia. Thanks to their 50% off sale, I was FINALLY able to make a purchase; white bronze reclined Ganesha and Meditating Buddha in volcanic stone.
A lot of the pieces are grand and hefty which make them perfect for the garden. The Buddha statue I purchased is about 30′ in height and weighs about 200 lbs. This piece will be displayed in our condo (let’s hope it doesn’t go weigh through the floor).
Gardensia *is* pricey but you’re paying for quality items. As I said, THANK GAWD for their 50% off sale. Can’t wait for the next one.

Gardensia is a place where you can find items that will take your breath away. The wood carvings that I found to complete my project were amazing.
If you’re looking for that far– away eastern look that you only see when you go to Bali, check out Gardensia.
You’ll be amazed at what possibilities this store has to offer in terms of selection and price. Just let your imagination run wild.

In my home, I now have 15 art pieces that I’ve purchased from Gardensia. These pieces are outside in my gardens and inside in my kitchen, living room, and bedroom.
This place is awesome. Whenever I’m in Berekely, I make it a point to stop by and look at all the items Sekti and Lisa have. I’m always amazed at all the little treasures I come across.
