FedEx Office Print & Ship Center

I went to this location today to scan couple booklets. After I submitted my order with the agent at the front counter to scan two 4×4 inch booklets and two souvenir coins, I stood there for almost an hour to wait for the scan order. After all that wait, the store agent only had one of the four things scanned correctly. It was an exasperating experience seeing a supposedly trained Kinko’s employee to try numerous scans on just two 4×4 inch booklets without cutting off corners and edges. I explained to her clearly that the two booklets don’t need to be scanned on the same page given the fact there’s plenty of space to fit two in one scan. It’s a simple job that anyone can handle even myself. After she saved the scan docs on my flash drive, I asked her to open the folder for me to double check if the correct images were there, turns out that one image was missing because she forgot to save it. Eventually, she told me to do the scans at the self service station knowing that I had explained to her at the beginning the self-​serv scanner was producing poor image qualities and odd coloration when I tested it before I submitting the order to her. I was very upset with her incompetence to perform a basic scan job and customer service skill. In the end, I asked to speak to a store manager, and was told there is no store manager on site. After going through all this distress, I realized she didn’t even return my flash drive when I got home :(

I am a mother of two young children and just left my baby with someone so I could drive to this location and ship a box returning a quilt to Land of Nod. I had the same box that the quilt came in with a pre-​paid shipping label, and the «Supervisor» Katie would not send it. She was extremely unprofessional and rude, her tone was disrespectful and sharp. She should not be employed there or anywhere in the service industry with that kind of attitude. I begged her to please help me since I had just gone to PO Pack where they could not do FedEx Ground. I did not have my wallet to purchase a new box or tape as I was just going to drop off the box. She kept repeating herself over and over that the box was bulging, which it was NOT! It just needed a piece of tape! She kept telling me to take it apart and adjust the contents, which is ridiculous given the quilt was neatly folded inside just as I received it, a perfect fit for the box.
What’s more, my husband shipped that very same box of contents last week at that same location and there were no problems. Unfortunately he put the pre-​paid label inside the box and it came back to our house, which is why I have to re-​send it. So this woman was clearly just incompetent.
I am appalled by her service. The box was in the exact same condition that I received it in, it just needed one piece of tape. Shouldn’t a shipping center have tape? If not, at least kind service and people willing to work with you and show some decent respect.
This place must make some changes in its customer service. I feel terribly upset by the way I was just treated and the huge inconvenience of not being able to ship the box.

I had a really good experience here. An earlier reviewer had not liked the assistant manager Zack due to his manner.
With my rush job, I actually found Zach’s thoughtful and knowledgeable approach very effective. He knew their system and software *very* well, worked to perform some on-​the-​fly editing to improve my poster, and conscientiously double-​checked at every step. He knew to allow for extra drying time before laminating and I clearly benefited from his experience.
The work came out in a flash and was exactly right! I will continue to use them at every opportunity in the future.

It can be slow at times but, they are helpful and professional. I’m never dissatisfied with the service. Parking is always an issue. So, it is a place of last resort at times.

I usually don’t write reviews but I hope FedEx is reading these. The last ⁴⁄₄ times k have been here there has only been one person working. Shipping, pickups, copy center, other services. A line of people. One person working. Absolutely ridiculous. Luckily the person working has always been nice. That’s the second star in the rating. There should never be less than two people working. So bad.

Had a horrible experience with this FedEx.
FedEx shipped my package to the wrong address and then rerouted it to this office. I explained to the lady on the phone that I don’t have my driver’s license from the DMV yet, so I don’t have a government issued ID to pick up the package with. She said that’s fine, just have the tracking number ready.
I went into this FedEx to be greeted by the most lethargic assistant manager, Zach. I told him about my situation and he still refused to give me my package, even when I showed him the phone messages, the Amazon order, and the tracking number. They also told me they can’t hold it for me for more than 5 days. So now, I am never going to get my package.
If you have also had a problem with FedEx in your Amazon orders, please please PLEASE make a complaint to Amazon about this. I spoke to a customer service agent at Amazon who told me that if there are enough complaints, they will stop using FedEx as a carrier for our area.

Theresa was super nice and super helpful! I was kind of fumbling about trying to figure out what to do with boxing a laptop I was sending back. Not only did I make a mistake and give vague directions about what I wanted but I was not terribly helpful. She was really patient and figured it out for me.

I’ve actually had great experiences here, the staff is very helpful with great customer service. I mostly go in to get documents printed off my thumb drive, which are oversized (architectural drawings). Their prices for this service are much better than Copy Centrals and they are very efficient. I don’t get much else there. I only gave 4 stars instead of 5 because parking is a huge pain.
Oh one time I came in for a color print also off my drive onto cardstock (it was double sided). The lady not only helped me with the service, but also helped me cut the card out of the paper and did a very professional job!

Hooray for Zachary! He solved a very tricky problem for me in no time, early Sunday morning, 3÷8÷15. I had a pdf file with 30 images, all cropped and scaled the same way. One of the pictures was incorrect, and he managed to digitally strip in the correct one. It was so nearly perfect, that no one could tell that the original had been altered. I went into the store planning to just make paper copies of the correct image and, literally, cut them up and paste them on the printed version.
The customer right before me was also thrilled with his service.

Went in here to print a one page pdf. What in other stores is a simple exercise and 25¢
Involved renting a computer for 2 min and and 2.56 later one off print out. The only redeeming value is its open till 11p

I stopped by after work to mail a couple packages, and experienced the worst customer service.
Trying to be proactive, I started filling out the shipping labels at the counter. An employee came over and told me it wasn’t necessary, and as long as I have the addresses, they will print out labels for me. Great!
I waited patiently in line, and was happy to finally get to the front. The employee that helped me definitely wins the most distracted employee of the year award. He seemed to do pretty much everything but focus on typing the address into the computer. chatting with his coworkers. watching people walk by.
Then he messed up the labels, so I ended up having to fill out the shipping labels by hand anyway! Womp womp.

The workers here were SO incredibly unhelpful and rude that I actually cried. Yes, CRIED. Worst customer service ever. Although they only made me cry once (which is one too many times), every single of the other visits here were just as bad. I either get the no response to my question, a rude worker, or bad attitude whenever I come here.

Had a mattress delivered here. Went into and called the store probably a dozen times over two days, but they said they didn’t have it. Turned out they’d had it the whole time, but it «didn’t look like a mattress» so they didn’t bother checking the name. Forced us to sleep in SF for two nights. A bunch of lazy jerks.

Takes terribly long and manager just stares at you waiting even though there is an open checkin area.

I don’t normally leave Unilocal reviews, but in this case, the employees didn’t leave me with much choice.
On a Wednesday just before 10 a.m., I was shipping a box I brought from home. The cashier, who had light hair (perhaps blonde) and glasses, assisted me with finding the right box (he told me I needed a FedEx Small White Box instead). I shipped it using US Ground. He was the only employee in the store (another employee came in during the transaction, an older woman with short graying hair), but I had no issues and his customer service was great.
The next day, around 9:15 a.m., I had another item to ship and I thought I knew exactly what I needed to do since I was there the day before. I grabbed a Small White FedEx Box and filled out my US Ground slip, and headed to the counter. There were two employees working, including Jeannie, the older woman who was there yesterday, and a dark-​haired guy named John.
Jeannie asked me if I was shipping via US Ground, and when I told her I was, she said I could not use the Small White Box to do so.
«OK, that’s fine. But just so you know I was here yesterday morning and some guy told me to use the Small…»
«Well you can’t.» John said, while running over my words from behind another counter.
«Yeah he was wrong,» Jeannie said. «What did this guy look like?»
A little thrown off, but willing to figure out who their mysterious coworker was, I described him as I remembered him: light, maybe blonde hair, with glasses.
«We don’t have anyone here that works here like that.» John said again, before I even finished describing the mystery man, and he walked over to the data center to help another customer.
«Yeah, everyone who works here has dark hair,» Jeannie said. «Was he tall? Short?»
Exasperated, I told Jeannie I didn’t remember, and asked her if I couldn’t use the Small White Box, what should I use instead. She pointed to the rack with large envelopes and I found one that worked fine. I unpacked my previous box and put my item in the envelope. As Jeannie is ringing me up, she asks again, «Are you sure that’s what he looked like?»
I replied yes, and even told her that I had seen her come in and speak to him WHILE he was doing my transaction. She just shook her head and said, «No. No. He doesn’t work here.»
WHAT? Do you even know who you work with?
Then John, back in the data center, calls all the way across the store and says in very sassy tone, «We do not have an employee that looks like that.»
I was so angry at this point, I looked over at him and said, «Excuse me?» He very kindly repeated himself a bit louder across the store.
When I get angry, I shut down, so that’s the end of the situation, but I swear I am not making this mystery employee up. The fact they were immediately defensive, negative, and extremely rude was so deflating and demeaning. I will not be continuing any services with FedEx.

Printed a couple of pages here for just under $ 2. It was only this expensive because their computers are a bit slow. Still, I needed the printing done and this was the only place to do it– so I’m grateful!

One guy was working on something in the back, the other guy left me for 5 minutes. The guy who is working on the project knows several people are standing and waiting for someone to help them, but he doesn’t come help…
No customer service skills observed.

Cut them some slack, all right? There are so many other printing options within a few blocks of this place that you can easily take your business elsewhere without getting your panties all up in a bunch.
So, if you have a baseline level of patience, you can hear me out when I say that the service here has been quite good – at least for the 2 convention-​destined posters that I’ve had printed here. I appreciate that FedEx does a rough print for you first, after which you come back after a few hours to observe the quality and confirm your order. The thoroughness legitimizes the pretty penny you’ll be paying for your poster.
But really, if you just CAN’T DEAL, there are so many other options out there.

This place is the worst. Every single person that works there is an unhelpful, lazy and often rude individual. Their self-​service machines almost always have something wrong with them. They freeze when you insert your USB drive. They’re out of paper. There’s some other mysterious error. And if you try and get someone to fix it, they just suggest you use the computers around the side — that you have to pay by the minute for! Yeah, sure, I’ll pay twice what the self-​service machine costs because your equipment is shit and you’re lazy.
Today I needed to print a sewing pattern. The self-​service machine told me it was protected, which I didn’t expect — I’ve bought and printed plenty of sewing patterns before and that has never happened. So I go up the front to see if they can get it to print. Instead I get the third degree from some dude with an attitude at the desk about the document in question, and he suggests –surprise– to use the expensive machines. I declined.
There has to be somewhere else in Berkeley with a self-​service printing machine, and when I find it, I will never ever set foot in Fed Ex again. I’m completely baffled as to how they’re still in business.
