One of the best burgers we’ve ever had. We can’t think of anything wrong with the place. Cash only but they have an ATM. Off the beaten path but well worth it! We will be back!

This is my new favorite burger spot. Ordered the Blue Ring Burger Deluxe. It was cooked perfectly, and extremely flavorful. The restaurant was small, very clean, and had a great feel/​ambiance to it. This is my new go to burger spot. Can’t wait to try the rest of the menu. The only down side is CASH ONLY, but they do have an ATM.

The deluxe burger was the best burger I have ever had. Period. The chips are homemade and are on par with the burger. The ambiance is casual. Our waiter was awesome and hilarious. They only take cash but there is an ATM available. Highly recommend this place.

Awesome, amazing, great, sexy, juicy, mouth-​watering, finger-​licking burgers. There are not enough words to describe this southwest Michigan tucked away restraunt. I have lived all over the United States, coast to coast, south to north, and these are some of the best burgers I have ever had.
The only issue I have is the Bleu Ring Burger. its a burger with a large onion ring full of melted bleu cheese. I can enjoy little crumbs of blue cheese on a burger but we are talking about an inch of melted bleu cheese. I almost gagged halfway through the burger. Well this is just my personal taste I know that many people would probably enjoy this. but I’m going to keep to my lettuce, tomato, grilled onion cheese burger that makes my soul melt and will continue to come back to this little bar for a long time!

Just had the «Blue Ring Burger. A giant hamburger on a sesame seed bun with a large onion ring on top filled with blue cheese topped with lettuce and tomato. If you ordered this in an upscale restaurant it would cost at least $ 15.00, but here it was $ 8.75 and worth every penny.

We just picked up burgers again today and I figured I would finally write a review.
They have the best burgers in a 20-​mile radius for sure. They cook them correctly to order, and they’re pretty quick when all the tourists aren’t in. It’s a dive, but I like it that way. They will continue to be my go-​to burger!

Indeed it’s St Joseph hidden gem. I live in town and I’ve been here many times. It’s by far the best burger I know of. It’s always juicy and moisty.
A special mention goes to any of the fried sides, being them onion rings, fries or shrooms… they are never greasy and are always tight and firm, making them the best fries in town in my opinion as well.
3 days a week they also serve mexican food which is worth it if you already know the burger… nothing can beat the burger :-)

After learning about North Shore Inn, it was on my «to do» list this summer. I am so glad I finally made it through their doors! The burger was «outstanding». I should have known when they asked how I wanted mine cooked and also when it came out of the kitchen with a steak knife stuck in it, that this was going to be good. Juicy and delicious. Redamaks has a great burger, State Fair & Provisions has a wonderful burger, but North Shore Inn may be in a class by itself! I can’t wait to go back.

The best burger I’ve ever had. It does look like a dive but the food was great. We were passing through and stopped in. The place filled up with locals, always a good sign. I newer do reviews but had to for this one. Side note-​Mexican food is only served Thurs-​Sunday.

Obsessed with this place! Sometimes you go to a restaurant and it is really memorable and you think, ‘I’ll have to come back’, but north shore is so good it’s like an addiction. Their olive burgers are just so good. We love their fries and I have extreme cravings for their special Mexican menu that they have just on the weekends– homemade tortilla chips, salsa and sour cream, and beef tostadas to be exact!
Oh! And please north shore never change the atmosphere! There is a special, vintage feeling ambience that would change the entire dynamic of the restaurant if it was ever renovated.
