I really love the grounds here, very romantic. You should definitely check it out if you want to feel really indulgent or take someone on a date. Very nice wine(I like their CMS) and beautiful venue.

I give this place 4 stars because I thought the grounds were absolutely beautiful as well as the tasting room; the staff was very friendly and knowledgeable, however I just did not fall in love with their wines. There really wasn’t anything that particulr stuck out to me. So I didn’t get anything. But overall I thought the experience was really nice and I took many pictures of their beautiful land. They do charge for a tasting fee here and I think it is definitely worth a visit, it just didn’t suit my palette.

Nice venue. The only winery there who really have a winery look. Was welcome by Anne-Marie and Tom, and also the kids Sarah and Christophe. Tried the 1999 estate: 4 stars.

I can totally recommend hitting up Hedges the next time you’re touring wineries in Benton City. This place has great wines at great prices. The wines here were some of the best we tried all day and they had the most affordable wines. Our hostess was really friendly and had a generous pour and ended up taking us on an impromptu tour of winery — we got to see the barrel rooms and where the guys were working during the big harvest, just because it wasn’t busy and she was nice. The estate designed to look like a wine estate in Champagne. It’s a beautiful building and grounds with a breathtaking view of the Red Mountain AVA. The bonuses if you’re a wine drinker/buyer: Discount of 15% if you buy a case. I did not feel forced to buy wine(some places you literally feel guilty for not purchasing). Eco glass screw tops bottles. Free tasting. The entrance is lined with grapes, feel free to give them a taste. They taste wonderful. Did I mention the AWESOME prices? The most expensive wine was $ 25 a bottle, most in the teens.

I would give this place five stars just for the outdoor area. There are, however, good values to be found in the tasting room, including CMS red, which continues to be one of our favorite house wines. The room is also lovely. But, of course, you can expect to pay more at the winery than you would at your local grocery store.

I am very fond of Hedges — their winery, their wine and the people. They have great service and the Hedges are great people. I am a huge fan of their CMS — for the taste and the price. I’ve tried a bunch of different wines during all the events they have around here and Hedges have been the most consistent with their wine and service.
