This AC Moore has definitely improved. Terry, at the jewelry counter was so friendly and kind during my last visit this summer. Made my experience here better than normal. I still prefer the Dedham AC Moore(and most Michaels) as the layout is more attractive and easier to find items, as well as being much closer to my house, but this is a great second. Recently, I was quite impressed how they had ALL of the registers open on Black Friday, when Michaels only had 3 of their 7 open. In the past, I had a few problems with some of the wood boxes this location was selling as the locks on every since one were all warped or broken, but it seems that problem was fixed. Good AC Moore, and definitely the best art store in Bellingham(I HATE the Bellingham Michaels!) Located in the Crossroads Shopping Center, on Route 126 in Bellingham. 5 stars.

As far as AC Moore the chain goes, I love it. The Bellingham location, however, is somewhat lacking. The store itself is hit and miss in regards to products that I’m looking for and there’s no way to check online to see if they have what I want before I leave. Pricing is pretty much the draw here. They do accept coupons, including competitor ones, and they’re pretty generous with putting out their own coupons, so you kind of have to ignore the shelf price. If you pay full price for anything at AC Moore, you’re doing something wrong. It’s super easy to use coupons there and they can even scan them right off your phone. The biggest pitfall to this location has got to be the employees. There’s one in particular that I believe also works at Walmart. She’s a special kind of grumpy. She hates children, puppies, glitter, men and coupons — though not necessarily in that order. I’ve gone in there and seen her line completely open while other lanes had 3 or 4 people waiting. So, if you ever head in there and go to checkout, don’t just beeline it for the empty lane if all the others have lines. There’s a reason!

I would give this place no stars, but I like the variety so I will be generous and give it one. I really dislike the people that work at this store. They are always so unfriendly, and like a previous comment had already stated, very hard to find when needed. My last experience was as follows. I was shopping with my 18 month old which was difficult. There were only 2 lines open and they were very slow and very long. After waiting for at least 10 min I pay for my items to then realize that I had been overcharged. I said exuse me but I think this item was on sale. She said well I cant do a return here you need to go in that line a motions to it. I also think you should go do a price check to make sure. Ummm isn’t that the job of someone at the store was what i was thinking. Meanwhile my son is getting very antsy. In the end they made me do the price check with my screaming kid to then wait on another line for seriously another 10 min. Once there the cashier was very rude and called someone and it took again another 10 min. By this time my son was running around. Nobody seemed to give a shit about my poor kid, and I was getting very nasty looks from the staff b/c of my son. Finally a lady comes up front and says yea we can give it to her for the price she stated. Like I made it up or something. If I didn’t like the variety at the store I would never go there again. I think if these people hate their jobs so much then don’t work there.

I like AC Moore for the simple fact that they’ve got it all when it comes to DIY project supplies. This location is large and much like the others, its got alot going on. Too bad the associates aren’t as wide spread as the merchandise. I searched for a good half hour before finding any assistance. One worker kept disappearing into a backroom, another gentleman associate was on a phone the whole time &2 ladies were ringing up customers at the registers. It’s a shame mostly because after I found what I was looking for and proceeded to purchase my items, the cashier seemed very friendly.

Maybe it is just me but craft stores are freaky. I needed some stuff to make a Halloween costume so I stopped into A C Moore for some supplies. This store is rather large and packed with crafty needs. I was able to get what I needed without the help of the friendly but kinda creepy staff. There is a whole section of this place dedicated to «scrapbooking» I hadn’t realized there was such a thing. There were aisles and aisles of fake flowers and cute things to look at and wonder why anyone would ever want. If you are into crafts this place is for you. The stuff isn’t cheap though.
