Just stopped by, I was expecting some Bomb, nice round, toasted on the outside but fluffy on the inside bagels. Totally not what I got. It was flat and kind of doughy still. It had a good flanker though!

This place is a great little gem. My husbands grandparents live one block away and I’ve been wanting to try them since I saw the giant bagel the first time we visited. I finally made time during our most recent visit to Cali and I’m glad I did! They are very cheap but very yummy! For $ 11 we got a bagel breakfast sandwich, a toasted bagel with cream cheese, and two vanilla lattes. I am a bagel lover and the jalapeño cheddar bagel did not disappoint. It was soft, warm and fresh. The latte was also very good for a small shop. One thing to note is there are just a few places to sit and the outside seating is dirty so this is definitely a to-go place. Overall I really liked this place. I will definitely be back during future visits to Bellflower!

Best local breakfast to go shop around. Sam does a great job helping locals get their day started. Breakfast bagels are the main thing. Egg, bacon and cheese on a bagel.

We had a bagel emergency. We bought a bunch of bagels from Costco that ended up being moldy *curse them*. So we looked up bagels near where we were staying and ran over at 8:00 in the morning, asking the nice man behind the counter for two dozen bagels. He quickly ran to the back and got us HOTFRESH bagels in less than two minutes for 50 people. He gave us a discount for no good reason and that is why we love Bellflower Bagels. WEWILLBEBACK.

These are the best bagels ever! Crunchy on outside soft inside and fresh. I have been coming for years and always bring to work. They have a drive through they are busy but quick and always amazing. The croissants with cheese and strawberries are delish and home made as well. The owners are very nice and if u call in what you want they will have it ready for you. The breakfast sandwiches are great too. Stop by you will not be disappointed and will be back agsin!

Sam’s a real cool guy — all I had was an iced coffee to beat the heat and it was delicious. Will definitely be stopping by whenever I’m in the area, can’t recommend this place enough!

I stopped here because the large bagel caught my eye. This is a small place with a drive thru window and a small outdoor counter with five fixed stools to sit and enjoy your food. It was a Sunday morning at abut 7am when I walked in. The homemade croissants had just come out of the oven. I ordered a strawberry croissant and coffee. The croissant was amazing. It was warm and so good. It was filled with cream cheese and a strawberry gel. Not toos sweet. I decided to sit outside and enjoy the locals showing up to order their meals.

I’ve tried their coffee, bagels(with and w/out lox), croissants, cinnamon twists, snails, bear claws, apple fritters, breakfast(and lunch) sandwiches, boba drinks — all good. 5 stars for quality, courtesy, and price. They’re willing to customize your order — for example, ham instead of bacon on their breakfast bagel. I don’t see any point in commenting on the décor of what is essentially a drive-thru bagel/donut/coffee stand, or whether its signs are«ineligible» as one reviewer states(Shane B.: the word is ILLEGIBLE…). A thoroughly pleasant experience overall.

If you are a bagel snob, this is not the place for you. This is more or less a bakery/deli shop with decent selection of assorted croissants and assorted bagels which are freshly baked everyday. The bagels taste good; the price is very reasonable; the service is good; and the owner is super friendly(which is why I added one extra star to my rating). I think other reviewers who gave this place less than 3 stars are completely unreasonable. Seriously, you walk into a bagel shop who has a big giant donut on its roof and you expect gourmet bagels? Delusional.

Friendly customer service. Quick service. Delicious and light bagels(not your regular store bought ones). I tried the bagel sandwich with bacon and it was perfect. They use fresh eggs, no egg beaters. The place was also very clean. Bring cash, debit can only be used if you spend over $ 6. I will definitely be coming back.

I was there early Sunday morning. I got a great deal on day old bagels that were pretty tasty. They have huge croissants that i can’t wait to try next time. The staff was nice and friendly too.

I’m giving it 4 stars because it was exactly what I was thought it was going to be: a quick stop for a morning snack(with bagels, donuts, and sandwiches) and coffee. I wasn’t expecting anything extraordinary, and I don’t think you should stick your nose up either. The ham & cheese croissant, which I order without lettuce, was surprisingly tasty when I had it the first time. I ordered it again the next time I came and I still have no complaints. The coffee they serve is very basic — nothing really gourmet. I’m definitely not a coffee connoisseur, but who is??? As a VERY«average» customer, I thought the french vanilla coffee tasted exactly how I wanted it to taste. I bought one of their $ 2 bags of bagels(and bought some cream cheese when I went to get groceries later). These particular bagels are clearly bagged for a reason. Maybe they’re a little older, but I didn’t care. They were cheap. They served their purpose. They weren’t rancid. They were just very plain bagels, and they went great with some good ol’ fashioned cream cheese. I personally found the service to be friendly. You have to realize that there are some cultural differences with how people will address you, respond to you, or take your order. Maybe I didn’t get a giant fake smile and a «how are you doing?» but I was asked how I liked my sandwich, I was thanked for coming, and we were called«my friends.» I figure that’s more than enough in terms of being friendly. I can see this being a regular morning visit on days I don’t feel like cooking breakfast.

I call this place«Giant Bagel» and I am a giant fan. The owner is extremely pleasant, and even remembered my favorite, Taro Slushie with Boba, even after I hadn’t been there recently. Their boba drinks are top notch, and extremely reasonably priced. Their baked goods are delicious and their Lox Breakfast Bagel is my personal favorite. I love supporting my local community by coming here and I will recommend this place to all of my friends as my not-so-hidden secret bob a spot. The only thing this place needs is a little makeover inside, which hopefully they can afford with new customers!

I’m kinda perplexed as to why this place has 3.5 stars. That’s probably 1.5 too many. Their bagels are way overboiled and really rubbery and chewy. Not much int he way of flavor either. I will give them credit for being very quick with service and very inexpensive — can’t argue with that. Still though, their bagels are essentially supermarket quality. I don’t mean the supermarket bakery either — those are actually quite better than Bellflower Bagels. I’m talking the bagged, Lender’s Bagels type of deal. My wife loves this place, but it’s really just a nostalgic thing for her, as the bagels here are really mediocre. She’ll admit she’s had way better bagels. But hey, it’s a cheap and quick breakfast that’s not McDonald’s. p. s. they take plastic, but they have a $ 5 minimum. Cash only if your ticket’s small.
