Cute & cozy coffee shop. Glass windows, I’d love to return on a rainy day and snuggle up on one of the big comfy chairs. One of the walls has a fireplace, I’m not sure if it’s a fake fireplace, the kind that lights up and pretend flickers lol or if it’s strictly for looks but either way it adds to the cozyness of the place. Sit your butt in any of the many many huge cozy chairs or sit outside on the patio for some fresh air. Once I sat in the chair I sunk in and forgot all about that I was supposed to do some homework and emails. I ordered a large coffee(moo hazelnut latte or something like that) and a bagel and it came out to 8 $ reasonable. The man that took my order was so nice and jolly and seemed to happy to be there which I loved. His smile made me smile too. When I ordered the bagel he asked if I would like it toasted with cream cheese and cut up and I said yes, thank you. Little things like that matter. They ask for your name at the end of your order and then when your food/drink is ready they bring it to you so you don’t have to peel yourself away from the cozy chair. Overall, I will be returning, and I very much enjoyed it here. They have soft background music so it’s not complete silence and it is relaxed so you can bring your homework or computer and get some serious work done here. Free wifi!

I would come here often from 2009 – 2011 while a student at Cypress College after 2011 I would stop by any chance I got. Love there ice teas and flavored coffee. I appreciate the baristas for always serving me whether staying in or take out. They always defined customer service /great service by bringing out my drink and pastry versus calling or shouting out a name or order. I miss the one that was across from Cypress College and I would get student discount. Too bad I don’t live near an it’s a grind but I’ll be back again soon! My last visit was early 2015. Nice hang out Great place for studying Awesome service Feels homie

Our local Internet café closed down, so we searched for a place near by, and I think we’ve found our new favorite spot! Such a great calm vibe and many places to sit and do a bit of homework! the blended drinks are delicious! And the staff is really nice!

cute and quaint little sit down coffee shop. my grandfather(who hates coffee in general and chain establishments) would be pleasantly pleased to come here because not only do they have coffee drinks, they have fruit drinks and tea drinks among lots of tasty looking pastries. I ordered a sour dough bagel and a mint mocha blended drink it was very tasty my mom went in there with her mouth set on salted caramel hot drink but since they were out of the syrup she settled for a. Caramel coconut something or other hot drink which she boasted that was«perfect». I’ll definitely come back here again.

Love this place, not a lot of coffee shops like this place in Cerritos. Starbucks and coffee CBTL are like McDonalds, they are everywhere and the coffee beans are mediocre. This place makes you feel like your at home, pretty relaxing with the homely décor.

Love this place! The staff are great and personable. Service is great and quick. The food/pastries are fresh all the time. I stop by just about every morning on my way to work, never a wait. A lot better than Starbucks.

Overall the lattes are not bad but the older couple that works here make crude and insensitive comments such as how many ice lattes are you trying to make out of a regular ice latte with no ice when I simply asked for no ice on a cold morning. Other times they would comment on the way you dress with border lining offensive remarks, I’ll take my business elsewhere.

Great place to study and relax with comfy chairs and a homey feeling. Great friendly staff. Only gripe is the Internet is a bit slow here.

love It’s A Grind chain, but I was driven from this location today by non-stop Christmas music playing. It’s only November 4th, and you’re playing Christmas music already!!! For shame…

If you like flavored coffee(vanilla, hazelnut, etc), get the amaretto coffee! It’s s sweet, fun, late morning drink. Came here with my laptop, not too many outlets around, but enough for the few patrons that needed it. Despite being a chain, this location still has a local, indie vibe. They had a selection of local pastries and sandwiches, and had a display of hand designed cards that I’m sure my Etsy friends would appreciate.

I have to say I really enjoy their drinks, but their LACK of cleanliness is unacceptable. I came in again today and found not only the table dirty, but the floor was full of dust, crumbs and who knows what else. Their chairs are comfy and unlike Starbucks, the music is not too loud. However, several of the chairs were ripped, torn or had large stains on them. That is not appealing. I also saw at least 2 other patrons cleaning off their tables as well. If this place cleaned its tables and floors, I’d consider to meet clients here since I work from home. It’s a grind, please ask your staff to be sweeping and cleaning when they are not ordering or making drinks.

This place is in front of my house so I do enjoy coming here to study every now and then when I’m alone. It’s a great catching up and studying environment but seating is limited due to the size of the place, which is completely fine since they utilize the small space pretty efficiently. Their drinks are good! I’ve tried their iced coffee with vanilla pumps(it was recommended by the worker so I’m not sure what it was exactly) and that was amazing. Their passion fruit iced tea is amazing. My boyfriend enjoys getting their blended drinks and he always likes whatever he gets. Prices are more than decent. Their baked good are a good treat to have in the side. I always like to just grab a different one each time. My five stars is mostly to the workers and the owner. The workers are so gentle, informative, and friendly. The lady owner is the sweetest. I only come once every couple months and seen her only three or four times but she recognizes you and makes an effort to remember your name. I know most people migrate to other places to study cause of the lack of seats but I mean, there’s a reason why it’s always so full right?

This place used to be cool but now it looks like a cheap gift shop/coffee shop. It’s so over crowded with couch chairs you can barely get to the register. Not feeling this place. Unless I’m really desperate for a drink.

It’s a Grind is one of my favorite coffee chains, much better than Starbucks. I have been to several of their locations and noticed the same excellent service and insanely good coffee at all locations. Such a great variety, I have tried most of their blended coffees and never been disappointed! Prices are a bit high, but the drink sizes are huge, a large will fill you up and fuel you through the entire day. Cozy store, they also have sandwiches and pastries which I have yet to try but the coffee is some of the best around!

I like a good coffee shop and this one is pretty nice, with comfortable seating inside and plenty outside as well. I came in an ordered a cup of house drip coffee and a chocolate and espresso scone. I did not however like that they charge .75 per refill for basic drip coffee, but luckily I did not need one( ). After finding a comfortable seat, I dug into the warm scone drizzled with chocolate and espresso which was quite good( ). It was warm and moist with a good density and filled with great flavor( ). The coffee was okay. It had a mild sourness in the back end, so I had to doctor it up a little with some half and half and a bit of cinnamon. The coffee shop sports a good free WiFi connection customers, and I really liked the eclectic collections on leather and cloth seats and wood tables that encompassed the inside area. 3.5 stars…

I really enjoy this spot! The service is awesome, workers are nice and helpful. One of the male workers has been here every time I have and he is very hard working and very helpful when it comes to deciding what to order. I love their big comfy chairs and the inside is cute and not too bright. I must say that the tables are either a small circle or a small square, so don’t expect to share a table if you have a book and a laptop. There are enough outlets around the walls, but make sure you buy something if you wanna study here! They have a sign but I haven’t seen them enforce it, but of course we should all support their business(: As for the drinks, I have only tried their Italian steamers and I love love love them!!! I’m more of a fruity girl so the mango was yum. They don’t make them too sweet which is a good thing for me. I just got an almond with English toffee Italian steamer… And it taste like pistachio!!! Tell me if you agree! Enjoy ~

When it comes down to coffee shop chains, It’s A Grind may be toward the top of my lists. Each and every time i have stepped foot in their door I have had an awesome experience and terrific service. Each of the baristas have been helpful and fully able to explain the contents of any of the various drinks they carry(and believe me that’s a large feat). This location is not overly large and is currently a bit tough to get to due to some ongoing construction throughout the center it’s located, but offers free WiFi and a very cozy setting to relax and hangout. It’s A Grind has a great variety of both hot and iced coffee and a large selection of blended drinks as well. After asking a couple of questions regarding one of the other drinks I decided to go with the medium Triple Chocolate Blended drink. If the taste of heaven could be put into a cup and consumed then this is definitely it. The drink is sweet, delicious and a chocolate lovers dream. The pricing is not too bad and about in line with what you would find elsewhere but the quality of drinks really seems better to me(at least at this location). It’s A Grind also has a selection of pastries, bottle juices, sandwiches, yogurt as well but this location also is selling homemade tamales and burritos which I found to be quite unique for this type of business. I will definitely have to return to give these a try somewhere down the road. If you are a coffee connoisseur or if you just want to get a quality drink then I would recommend giving this place a try. I know many people who have a daily routine and hate to deviate from it but this place truly stands apart in my eyes from some of the others in the quality department alone. I will most definitely continue coming here when I pass through the area.
