I am super full now. Feeling dizzy too. Lol There’s a huge variety of both south and north India food. It’s hard to find South Indian food in a buffet. There were idlis, puris, they said they could get us dosas too. But we didn’t order for them. Idlis weren’t great. They were hard. So wouldn’t recommend that. I didn’t try all the dishes. You always think you can try a sample of all in the beginning but after a plate the real picture is there. I liked the Hakka noodles, malai kofta, goat biriyani, jamuns, pakaras.

Certainly not worth the money. We went to their 16 $ buffet only to realize that the dishes weren’t really up to the mark. Even though there were quite a few options but other than malai kofta nothing else was even closer to the price you pay

It’s Monday evening. I came with my family for a buffet here. Few vegetarian options but don’t expect many rice options I mean not even biryani. Just a normal lemon rice .Dosa is included in your menu at extra cost. If lies are on the list but an empty bowl placed. Naans on request come after 25 minutes– which are supposedly included in buffet. Uncooked cabbage curry. Looks like left overs of weekend. Am surprised why does anyone want to eat here if u receive something at extra cost when u can better one at ur home

Went here a week ago with a couple of families. Overall, the food is okay. That said, the humidity inside the restaurant was horrible. They had no running air running and you could see water residue building up on the walls and the windows which made the entire experience uncomfortable. Giving it three stars because of that.

I don’t even like Indian grub that much, but this place made me a believer. True Indian cuisine!

Amazing, tasty and simply delicious. If you are looking for food that has flavors and is a delight to eat, you are in the right place! The service is flawless, and quality is great! Highly recommended!

Bad taste, pathetic food. Naan are thick, curry is tasteless. Won’t recommend for vegetarian people.

Went here for dinner on a Friday night with some friends. We were in the mood for an Indian buffet because we felt nostalgic. Unfortunately our meal here turned into Oh No! India. There were a lot of options for the buffet but almost everything was below par. The fried chicken 65 and roasted chicken were extremely dry and tasted stale. The chicken tikka masala was just flavorless colored cream. The prawn curry had no flavor either. The veggie curries were pretty non-descript. The chicken chettinad was the only curry that I would say was passable; it wasn’t even close to chettinad but tasted nice. The mutton(goat) biryani was not bad. It was really annoying though that they kept running out of it and took 20 minutes to refill it at the buffet by which time people are tired of waiting and eat something else. Not sure if this was being done on purpose or if it was just carelessness. Either ways, not cool. The naans were pretty average and the dosas(that they charge extra for) were terrible. The gulab jamun was probably the worst I’ve had in a long time. The rice kheer was not bad. The servers get angry with you if you request anything other than when they specifically ask you if you want something. Due to this, our naans were brought out 10 minutes after we got the curries from the buffet by which time they had gotten cold. Overall the food is well below par and the service is terrible. I don’t think I’d ever go back here or recommend it to anyone. There’s nothing«Fine» about the cuisine here and nothing«Indian» about the hospitality.

I have been a loyal customer to Oh India for the last 6 years and it was great in the beginning,”. But lately I started to realize in order keep prices steady, something in food quality is decreased. Also Theresa always a ‘when food X will arrive?’ Question circulating within customers. Kind of sucks. I am fine with giving a few dollars more but her a decent quality of service

If I was on deathrow and they told me I could have one last meal… it would be here. I fill my belly so full its painful to breath every time I go here. I wish I was there right now.

I am a vegetarian semi vegan and i love trying new Indian restaurants. Excellent buffet, pakora was perfect and the Naan heavenly. My favorite was the potato dish, not sure of its name. That being said I cannot seem to remember or pronounce most of the dish names… that is why I prefer the Buffet. The little white pillow looking thing(«Idaly») was not very good, kinda bland and sour like sour dough dish soap. They have something that looks like tortilla chips, says vegetarian, not really sure what to do with it, tastes like packing material, maybe I was supposed to put something on top of it. Then I got something called«dosa» brought to my table. It’s yummy reminds me of a crêpe. Red rice is saffron delicious… time for dessert :)

This is a great restaurant. It’s nice t. The food is very good, and that they have a buffet on weekends and dinner, and the price is very reasonable for the nice selection they have. I often come on Sundays right as the open, so the food is hot and fresh. They have lots of vegetarian options, as well as a few chicken items as well. I would would very much highly recommend this place for someone who wants to have a good buffet.

3.5 stars Good service and fair selection and quality of buffet. We came here to scratch our Indian food itch. The location of this large-ish Indian restaurant is in the cute end of the shopping mall next to Barnes and Noble.(Ironically Unilocal’s map led us around the block.) The décor of this place is a bit utilitarian — it feels a bit like a canteen. However, the service is good and staff and owner regularly pass by to check on you. The food had its ups and downs. When you arrive freshly baked naan bread is brought to your table. The chutney and sauce area had a good selection — coconut, mint, raita, etc. They have iddly I’d that’s your thing too. The goat curry and shrimp curry were good. The biriyani was good too but too salty. There was a fair selection of vegetable dishes as you’d expect: eggplant, potato, spinach, mushroom. I didn’t like the texture of the rice dessert… it tasted fine but it had a raw egg-like texture. I didn’t try the fruit cocktail. I think there was a tea urn for chai, but again I didn’t try. For $ 14 per person and an evening buffet Oh! India has its regular customers. There were quite a few Indian families too. I’d say this was an average buffet but there were some lesser seen dishes than other buffets I’ve been to which give it a higher rating. The better than average service was worth tipping for too. We wanted to take our leftover bread but there’s a no carry out policy so it went to waste.

Oh india does things 3⁄5 in general. It excels in some things — always has a buffet which is good when I’m too tired to think and order. Food is consistently average. Some dishes are great — their eggplant is good, South Indian dishes are better than average. Service can be iffy. They’ve stopped putting silverware on the table all of a sudden. I didn’t realize this was a new rule until I asked for it and the server blankly said go get your own.

This is what my Unilocal profile is all about, signature local places that have earned it. This place is a power house excellent in many aspects streamline buffet concept, high quality food, friendly service, comfortable atmosphere = (Rick’s list line out the door«signature local places») This is my top pick of the year guaranteed! I am looking forward to this restaurant being extremely successful and having the streamlined buffet and service to handle it with elegance. This is my new favorite restaurant.

Quite good! A bit pricey, but the food was plentiful and excellent. Naan was always hot, fresh, and very delicious. The tikki masala wasn’t as flavorful as I was hoping, but the butterchicken was *on point*. With the decent selection of Indian food in the Puget Sound area, these guys are a solid choice on the eastside. Not my favorite, but still very good.

The thing about Indian restaurants is that I often like them, but I don’t often love the hell out of them. But Oh! India might actually fall into that second category for me. It’s a buffet restaurant in a convenient location, the quality is fairly high, and prices are reasonable. I definitely see reason to come back in the future. It’s generally your standard Indian buffet fare, although they seem to have a wider selection of rice and vegetables. Their selection of meats and curries are also highly enjoyable. They have kheer and gulab jamun if you’re big on desserts, and they were gracious enough to bring a basket of naan to my table as I was eating and not charge for it. When you consider how $ 10.99 is a good price for a lunch buffet, I think five stars is fair.

I must have come in at a bad time since the majority of the food out for the dinner buffet was cold and slightly stale. This was especially evident with the tandoori chicken, which really didn’t taste like anything. There were a lot of soup-like dishes I hadn’t seen at other buffets, but this also meant that they were lacking the standard fares like tikka masala and saag. I did enjoy their biryani(although it wasn’t as good as Mayuri’s), and it was nice that they brought out naan and dosas out to your table. However, the vibe was strange(kitchen staff yelling at each other, etc.) and the food wasn’t too entirely impressive to keep me coming back.

This place does dinner buffet and it’s fairly reasonably priced. It includes a soft drink and chai and that is a choice of naan or dosa. There is also quite a spread of vegetarian and nonvegetarian items like chicken, lamb and sometimes goat. That is no way you can try everything as that are at least 20 or 30 items to try. There is also a separate bar of pickles, chutneys, salads. I have been here about five or six times and the food quality and flavors have been good. If you’re in the mood to try a lot of different items this is a good place to come. Weekends can get really busy and a lot of people come with small kids so it’s probably not the best place to visit if you’re looking for a quiet meal unless you come right when it opens at 5:30 pm.

Indian buffet. Love it. This place is popping with people. Best way to know it is good Indian. Other Indians eat there. The buffet selection is large and the cooks keep the platters fairly full. Food here is good and the naan is delicious. Service is prompt and nice.
