Last time we went there for lamb chops and chicken tikka, it was a lil disappointing, Lamb chop serving was definitely smaller, i could compare it with the picture i had in my phone, from abt 6 chops there were 4 small pieces. Tikka came with a weird curry type sauce drizzled on it, and instead of fresh tandoori roti we were given pita bread. Mgmt should take care of such minor stuff which can hurt their reputation

Average is what the food is. Its a little on the pricier side($ 13 on average for a pick up) and nothing I have tasted until now(gyros, nihari, chicken tikka) is extraordinary. I would never go for chicken tikka again since its actually roasted chicken and not tikka per say. Also, they give pita bread in place of naan during lunch time. Nihari was good but was about 70% oil and looked like instant ticket to high cholesterol!

re: Lunch My wife and I had the Lamb Gyro with some fries and a drink. To me, it was an above average Gyro and my wife has the same assessment. I’ll say this though, there were about 4 other tables full of 2 – 4 people at each table and they all ordered the entrée dishes. WOW. The aroma smelled so good, it almost made me order something to go. Why would you order a Gyro, when you can order these other dishes? I didn’t see anyone order burgers either, so maybe that’s another hint hint. My wife and i will definitely be returning, but it will be because we want to try the Mediterranean & Indian entrée dishes.

5 star for the veggie paneer biryani. Took a chance with this place and loved how the biryani was light but nicely flavored. I used to like heavily flavored food but have begun to appreciate lightly flavored food and lightly salted food. This biryani was exactly how I’d like it. Just writing this review makes me want to have this again. Oh damn it. I’m going to get it for dinner tonight. The panner is grilled which gives that smokey grilled flavor. Good quantity and good amount of veggies. If you are a veggie and bored of eating similar tasting biryani, try it here. Oh and they provide excellent tzatziki sauce as side.

This place is a hit or a miss. I’ve liked their«healthy options» menu! However, they almost always seem to be out of kabobs — for strange reasons if I may add. Everything else that I’ve tried have ranged from pretty decent(Biriyani) to pretty disappointing(veggie burger) or downright disgusting(Shawarma). Echoing someone else’s sentiments here but the guy behind the counter does act strange. I suppose it doesn’t matter as long as they serve good food consistently — which seems to be one of the things lacking.

We went there for dinner last week after a friend’s recommendation. Honestly, after looking at the place I was not sure if the food would be good. The décor needed some updating and their menu was Plain Jane. I thought to myself that this should be one of the other Indian joints you find in the food court. But I was pleasantly surprised with the food. Everything tasted excellent. We ordered the Chicken Sheek Kabab, Nihari Chicken, Chicken Biryani. The kebabs were lip smacking. they were so soft that it would melt in your mouth. The prices are reasonable and the service is quite fast. We would love to go there again.

I felt this was a perfect place for quick super yummy food! I ordered a gyro salad and my friend ordered chicken shwarma. Both were very tasty. We are planning to go back and try out everything in the menu!

Have only had the lamb and beef gyros, 2 to go at 6 pm. Very good, right proportions of meat, etc. Very satisfied and looking forward to trying other items.

Very delicious lamb gyro. During lunch this place can be pretty busy. I saw many orders of chicken in a hot sizzling plate, it must be the chicken Nihari as mentioned by the reviewers. I will have to try that. Definitely will come back for the lamb gyro. Con: avoid any dish with mixed vegetables, they look like they came out of last month’s frozen stash… must have been a slow month for veggie orders… The owner was very friendly. Since it was my first visit, she brought out some baba ganoush… excellent taste! The baklava is only $ 1.49, a nice treat after the meal. Enjoy!

The only reason you see 1 out of 5 star is because it is required to write a review. We visited this place late afternoon. We were told there was no Naan because the fellow who runs tandoor(clay oven) is on break until 5pm… so that was out. They were out of chicken kebabs so we ended up getting chicken wings, Haleem, roti and chicken turnover. Food was either stale or over spiced to a point that it was not edible. The kulfi flooda had vanilla ice cream instead of kulfi. The lady said she«prefers» not accepting Amex because she gets charged more fees. NEVERGOINGBACKTOTHISDUMPAGAIN. AVOIDITLIKE A PLAGUE.

Why do people make extra efforts to screw up places with great food? I live right across the street and have been going here regularly for months. The mediterranean food is really good as I’ve mentioned in my earlier review but the Indo-Pak food steals the show. The chicken nihari is phenomenal, the tandoori naans are hot, fresh and delightful, the chapli kebabs(both chicken and beef) are pretty darn good as is the garden burger. The chicken tikka is actually more like a sizzler which is awesomely nostalgic if you know what it is. AWESOMEFOOD!!! Then why the 2 stars? I absolutely hate the owner’s attitude. I thoroughly enjoy going here when they are not around because the chef and server who work for them are way better. What bugs me is that the owners are either dishonest or haven’t read their own menu/website. The last 3 – 4 times, they have charged extra for the naan although the menu says that the nihari and tikka come with naan. They give you smaller portions of curry to go. The hummus and pita appetizer suddenly becomes a small dollop of hummus and a single pita when they are around as opposed to 2 pitas and generous hummus that I have been used to getting here in the past. Owners if you are reading this, please take note. I love your food and have been a regular and loyal customer for a long time but I do not appreciate being over-charged repeatedly. My last 3 visits have been disappointing and I’m actually debating whether or not to come back.

We went there on a friday night and noticed we were the only table there. We ordered the Bun kebab, Lamb gyro and Masala Fries. For $ 5.99 I was expecting a decent size Burger Bun since their Kebabs are actually burgers, but it was pretty small(I’ve posted a picture of it) and the Lamb was very dry. As for the masala fries, I was expecting the fries made with a masala batter but instead they serve you regular French fries sprinkled with Masala on it. Will we ever visit this place again? Maybe, but chances are very slim.

This is place is just okay in my opinion. The biryani rice was kind of dry — I wouldn’t order it again. The chicken nihari was tasty but there was way too much sauce and not enough chicken. However, the chicken that was there was delicious. Maybe I need to try other things on the menu, but so far, I haven’t been terribly impressed.

Four stars. Why? Well, I’ve eaten here multiple times and never been disappointed. There’s been a feeling of contentness after meals here which implies that something is being done right. What to order: The best dish here is the Chicken Nihari. The Chicken Korma special if they have it is good too. The naan is fresh. The Chicken Nihari is good too. The Biryani is okay — I would give it a miss. The falafel is decent too. The food takes time getting there, there’s usually one guy manning the counter and he has a chilled out attitude and takes it peacefully. Finally, it is not that expensive. And there are aspects of the décor I like, the tapestry or drapery or for want of a better word the big sheet that hangs is cool. So are the lamps hanging from the roof. Overall, a really good place that has stayed good over the last many years.

The food, apart from being very authentic and delicious, is extremely fresh with top notch quality of meat. 5 stars for the consistent quality. The owners and staff are extremely friendly. My personal favorites are Biryani /Chicken kabab roll with masala fries, but the weekend specials come a close second :)

Great Halal Fast food! My favorite thing to get is the Chapli Kebab Plate with Masala Fries. The Chicken Shawarma Salad comes in at a close second. And the Grilled Tandoori Chicken Burger is very tasty and delicious. Pretty much everything on the menu is worth having at least once, but it’s hard to branch out from your favorites because they are so good.
