I dread getting haircuts. I have a lot of thick hair and it grows in all different directions. Plus my head is shaped weird. This combo seemingly makes it difficult for me to find a stylist that can cut my hair just the way I like. So finding Jaymie at Hairstudio 60 is a godsend!
She is fast and skilled, friendly and professional. Her place is clean and in a great location. Making appointments are a snap via the website which is always a painpoint elsewhere. I’ll see you next month Jaymie, thank you!

I originally came here when it was the Dolce Vita salon, even though its a bit out of the way, because I loved the vibe and high quality for reasonable price that they gave. Jaymie did not disappoint when they made the change to Hairstudio 60. My boyfriend comes with me now too and he’s said she is the best hairdresser he’s had. She is really nice and always does a great job.

I have two pretty particular guys who love coming here for their haircuts. My husband is so picky that he’d rather cut his own hair than get a bad haircut. Thankfully, we discovered Jaymie right in our neighborhood! She does a terrific job with his hair, and makes helpful and useful recommendations (he’s a bit of a product junkie). My son also used to have a hard time with haircuts, and it didn’t matter how low or high we went in price. They were still bad experiences that neither of us looked forward to. That’s not at all the case with Jaymie — she’s great with him and he loves coming to see her!

On our first visit to Hairstudio 60 we were sold! Jayme cut my 9 year old daughters hair and she did a wonderful job. My little girl was a bit timid at first, but Jayme made the whole experience fun and really involved her in the whole process. It was very affordable, too! The cut was extremely professional and we will definitely go back. I think my wife and I will try her next time and make it a family event.
My daughter wanted to be a part of the review so she typed, «I love my haircut and would be happy to go back. I recommend this to anybody who needs a haircut.»

THIS IS IT.
I haven’t been this satisfied with a haircut in a WHILE.
I found this place on accident while looking for another salon I found on Unilocal.
But boy am I glad I walked into this one.
I didn’t have an appointment but Jaymie was nice enough to fit me in between her other clients!
Jaymie is Korean so she knows how to deal with Asian hair. She is super nice and speaks native English so don’t be afraid!
I already set up another appointment 4 weeks from now and you can bet I will be trusting Jaymie with my hair from now on.
Btw, a men’s haircut is $ 25. More expensive than barber shops but on the cheaper side for a salon. I don’t know about you, but I’d rather pay a slight premium for an EXCELLENT haircut.
FYI: Set up an appointment before you go!

I had a great experience at Hairstudio 60. Coming in without an appointment I didn’t expect to receive great service or get a haircut immediately. Typically it’s the regulars who receive superior service ahead of walk-​ins. With Sarah, my stylist, it was the exact opposite of a walk-​in. She greeted me with a smile and said she’d be available momentarily as she was just about done with her current client. My wait was less than 10 minutes and the haircut that I received was very stylish. Sarah listened intently to my needs and added some of her expertise to give me a great new look that also felt great. The salon was very clean and simple. The location is easy to get to. I highly recommend that you pay them a visit.

As a guy, I’m not that particular about my hair. Haircuts were always hit or miss for me. Sometimes they were fine, sometimes not that great. That all changed when Jay started cutting my hair 12 years ago. I realized that there was actually an art to cutting hair. I now get a great haircut every time. I live in Shoreline and was willing to drive all the way to Bellevue when she opened her new hair salon. I’m not willing to drive to Bellevue for anything else. That’s how good her haircuts are.

It’s tough to find hairstylists that know how to cut really good Asian guy hair. Even in Bellevue, with a pretty big Asian pop, it’s a rare thing unless you’re willing to pay $ 50 – 70 at speciality Japanese salons. Either that, or the stylist goes straight for the buzzer and if you grow your hair out any at all, you start getting weird cowlicks.
Jaymie knows what she’s doing, and costs $ 25 for a guy’s haircut. Favourite haircut place in Bellevue/​Seattle area.

I’ve been a fan of Jaymie since 2014 and extremely excited that she has started Hairstudio 60. She is friendly and an expert stylist. I love that I just show up and she remembers exactly how to I like my hair cut. Note: I have hard to cut Asian hair but Jaymie makes it look easy.
Hairstudio 60 is clean and modern with plenty of parking.

This hair studio is great! Hairstudio 60 is really close to I405, I90, AND there is free parking. It’s very clean, new, and modern looking inside. The atmosphere seemed calm and welcoming. As soon as I arrived, I was offered a beverage, which was really nice.
The owner, Jaymie, cut my hair and did a fantastic job! She listened to what I wanted and I liked how she showed me what she was doing before she did it to make sure I was okay with it. I usually come out of hair cuts thinking that I don’t really like the cut, but I will get used to it. Not this time! This time, I came out of the hair cut absolutely loving it!
I made a second appointment to dye my hair and they were able to accommodate my schedule, which is awesome! I would say for the price/​location/​atmosphere/​and quality of my haircut, there is no better place to go than Hairstudio 60.
