Dropped by this bakery this morning because I was impressed by all the reviews. I ordered a bacon, egg, cheese croissant sandwich which was«ok». The bacon was great(considering I don’t think you can go wrong with bacon), however there was WAY to much egg and cheese(and I’m a cheese lover). I think if there was a balance in the portions then it would have been a «good» sandwich. I also ordered one glazed donut that I didn’t like at all, it had more of the taste of a dinner roll with a light glaze to me. I hate giving this review a low review because what I believe is what deserves 5 stars is the friendliness of the staff. The lady serving was very sweet and polite(I ordered one glazed donut but she gave me two). As I was waiting for my order and older gentleman walked in and greeted the lady serving me turned out to be her father. He was dropping off supplies and as I was walking out he was getting in to his car and he made a point to pause and stop to say good morning as if there was an underlying«thank you» for my patronage which I believe gives the impression of an humble and thankful spirit :-) Overall I believe its worth a second chance so I may add it to my list of staples for breakfast stops for the office.

Love this place. Family owned shop by a local Khmer Thai family. The plain glazed was soooo yummy and soft and for once I prefer this over Shipley’s. Service was excellent, plan to return.

First and Last time. Was searching for a good donut shop in Houston that wasn’t a chain… ordered a couple of the«popular» items(apple fritter and blueberry) Donuts were over greasy/oily…taste was Ok. I’ll have to try another donut shop tomorrow and see if that’s any better.

It’s one of those places that gives Houston a hometown and neighborly feel by welcoming all customers with a smile and giving them extra attention while they choose one of the many options of donuts they have. F&B has a plethora of flavors and eats for the morning. They’re breakfast tacos hit the spot and so do their danishes. I went on New Year’s Eve and they were kind enough to give out a dozen donuts for free! I really enjoyed their glazed donut with this beautiful lavender icing and white sprinkles. This is the perfect place to pick out beautiful pastel iced donuts that make a great thing to bring to a birthday or girl’s brunch. Lines here are longer than the Shipley’s across the street. I highly recommend this place!

I think my favorite is boudin. While many other places have friend boudin ball, they have the soft kind as a filling in some kind of bread. It’s really tasty, especially when it’s fresh and hot.

One of the best donut places in Houston by far! It’s a quaint little shop right next to Bellaire Broiler. To me, the reason why I keep coming back here is that they’ve done their donuts well. Simple, with a little bit of chew, sweet, and delicious! I get all kinds while I“m here, old fashioned, filled, glazed, you name it, they have it! The deals that you get here are also great too. They give you free donut holes with every half dozen. It’s been a go-to favorite of mine for the service and the great donuts. I“ll keep coming back for sure!

The owner is very rude and prices are crazy $ 2.15 plus tax for 20 ounce coke. Don’t recommend this place

My first time here! I ordered a cinnamon roll and the cashier gave me an extra glazed donut! Cash is the preference, to avoid the charges for using debit/credit cards for under $ 5.

First time here. My kids had a plain donut, a chocolate iced donut with sprinkles and a few powdered donut holes. They were decent… However the yummy part was the egg, cheese and sausage croissant my husband and I shared. Yummy!!! We will definitely be back. A great treat to start off our Labor Day

I’m visiting my brother and his wife here in Texas. I told them I wanted 3 thing while I was here. A big steak a big burger and I big donut. This place really came through with the big donut. They ordered 2 and there was plenty left over. Even though they were big they tasted great. They weren’t greasy or anything like that. All I know is when I come back to visit this is where I’m coming for my donuts.

Oh yes, I have found breakfast sandwich heaven! Service 5*: I walked in, and was greeted with a very nice«Good Morning Ma’am» from the lady behind the counter. She asked me what would I like for breakfast. I told her it was my first time here, and could she recommend something I should try… and then I saw it… a HUGE bacon egg and cheese croissant breakfast sammich, waiting for me to choose it. Food 5*: She saw me staring at the sammich and asked me if I would like to try that… uh heck yeah I do!!(lol) It looked and was very fresh. She popped that joker in the microwave for a hot 30 seconds and it was all mine. It was packed with bacon, 2 well done fried eggs(just how I like em) and american cheese, all inside a buttery croissant. Building 5*: Its a mom n pop type of shop. Small but with plenty of room. Good parking spaces outside and a few tables n chairs for seating inside. I completely forgot to try a donut because I couldn’t take my mind off that sandwich.(SMH) Ive been passing by this place for 4 years going to and from work. I now have a place to stop on the way home in the mornings.

They are so nice there and they have great donuts. They have a great selection of drinks to go along with their donuts Locations a little bit tricky to get there. The shop is right at the light.

They’re pretty tasty. Got there a little before noon on a Sunday and they were nearly wiped out — my first visit, so I don’t know if that’s uncommon or just the way things are. Also — be careful. If you buy a dozen, they give you six more. If you’re like we are, you’ll take — and eat — the 18 even if you probably should’ve stopped at three.

I LOVE this place and will continue to be forever loyal!!! Located 2 minutes away from my house, it’s perfect when I want to stop by and fix my kolache craving or if I need to buy donuts for one of my classes. Everything I have tried here has been immensely satisfying and I highly recommend this place to anyone wanting a donut. No doubt beats the shipley’s from across the street. The lady that works there is always so nice and polite and often times she gives me extra donuts or donut holes. The prices are really really good and I’m convinced this is the best donut shop in the Bellaire/Houston area.

Walked in and was greeted immediately. The lady was very nice and helpful. I ordered 2 crossaindwiches and a churro. The sandwich was so delicious, only ate one the other was for a coworker. I asked what kind of coffee they had and she told me they only had cappaccinos, but if I wanted more of a variety I can go to starbucks down the street. I decided to go with the cappaccino and appreciated her customer service. Forget the other donut shops that are nearby and try some delicious food here. Definitely recommend and will be going back to try out the donuts.

I’ve had donuts from several places in Houston, Spring, and Cypress. This place takes the dough, fries it, and makes the into a piece of Heaven!!! The donut squares are amazing fried to perfection, it’s not to sweet, but just the right amount of sweetness. The Texas size donut is so fluffy, I swear it’s like eating a marshmellow. The breakfast tacos with bacon is just wow!

Fresh & Best Donuts truly lives up to it’s name! I bought breakfast here around 8 – 8:30, I was greeted with enormous smiles despite the time. These people really love their job – they were all so nice and helpful! So I already felt inclined to like the place. I had decided on the«Texas Size» donut, which is literally bigger than my head. I couldn’t pass that up, especially since they had just started pulling another batch out. At the last second I added on a ham, egg and cheese croissant which they offered to warm up for me. The price ran up to about $ 11 – 12’s, but ultimately it was worth it.(Someone’s photo on here mentioned the giant donuts being $ 4, but they ended up being $ 7. Not a big deal.) When I finally got to my grandmas house, I realized my eyes were indeed bigger than my stomach. So I spilt the donut with my relatives. Literally everyone raved! The donut was absolutely delicious – so fresh, and soft, extremely filling. The croissant was pretty darn good too. My grandmother thinks they’re better than any donutstore we’ve ever eaten at, definitely better than Shipleys which I’ve noticed since moving here, is the predominant donut shop in the area. I have to say, this is one thing we easily agree on! I’ll definitely be going back here, for the great service and best donuts!

Love their donuts and so fluffy and not dense! The cashier is always friendly and greet you with a sweet smile when you step into her store. Melt away your morning blues! They will give you a dozen free donuts holes with half a dozen donuts purchase. Great deals indeed.
