Applebee’s

I’m not picky. Seriously. But there are just too many other options in the area. The ribs were not good, the steak was grissly, and, quite frankly, none of the food was good. For what we paid, I would expect at least a mediocre quality. The service was fine (saw other reviews stating bad service but this was not our case). But go with Chili’s, Cheddars, or one of the other restaurants in the area. Won’t be back. Seems like AppleBees is going to have to do something with their food quality and image. Last time I went was in the 90’s and I’m pretty sure I won’t be back.

I am a regular there. Enjoy myself there most of the time. But to
Night they cut me off, which is fine. But then I got an aditude for Yan my bartender which shocked me after being there numerous times. I asked for the check, but the aditude continued. , shocked I just left. Will not go back.

Absolutely the worst service I have ever had in a restaurant! We met family here at 12:00 on New Years day, and there may have been 5 other cars in the parking lot when we arrived. Service was slow the whole meal and we had to get up several times to find our server to ask for more drinks. Many of the glasses were delivered dirty and empties were never once picked up. From the time our meals were finally dropped off, it was 45 minutes before anyone came back to check on us. Most of our order had been delivered incorrectly and was awful but they didn’t care. We asked for checks and 20 minutes later they still had not come back so I went to look for the manager. I politely walked up to and said we had two little kids who were getting restless and that this was ridiculous. She immediately snapped at me that when she came by I had only asked for the check and nothing else and that their computer had crashed so she was having to ring it all back up. I’m sorry but in the hour long ordeal, how was it possible that no one could come by, explain the technical difficulties, refill our drinks and asked us to be patient? When the tickets were finally delivered there was no apology, or thank you. Luckily we all had cash so we could finally just pay and leave. Not one person we encountered in there was friendly, or even professionally dressed. Never going back.

Me and my family went last night my fiancé was very unhappy. We did 2 for 20 steak was okay but baked potatoe was raw and hard. Pasta was dry and had no flavor. Service was okay but food was horrible.

My experience was horrible and it was the last time I have been to an Applebee’s — EVER. The food tasted bad in general (i.e. Brisket Nachos — be aware they are not part of the Happy Hour menu which nobody bothered to tell us and I also didn’t see that «only select» appetizers were half of… these nachos are not worth their $ 9.49 and Brunch Burger was okay), but my entrée was DISGUSTING (BF tried it and felt similarly)! PLUS it made me feel sick for the rest of the night!!!
I got the New PEPPER-​CRUSTED SIRLOIN & WHOLE GRAINS. Seriously, do NOT order this dish, I could not get down my 3 – 4 bites without shaking in disgust. The flavor of the sauce was gross so the spinach, tomato and mushrooms were uneatable and the sirloin was just fatty and an extremely poor quality of meat. I don’t expect a top notch steak, it’s a sirloin after all, but the sirloin at grocery stores are of a MUCH better quality than this. The meat also had a weird consistency and just looked extremely strange. maybe it was old.

Generally, the items never look like what they advertise (I don’t expect them to look exactly the same, I know how these food photo shots go… uncooked food that may just be sprayed on to make it look roasted etc.), but what we received looked extremely unappetizing and the portions was much smaller than what they seemed on the pictures. Total waste of $ 36.

This place sucks!
Came here for lunch. There was maybe half a dozen people in the restaurant. Service was terrible. We were not near the bar but the bartender was waiting on us. I understand being short handed, I really do, but they were not busy. Why on earth was service terrible and food coming out soooo slow. We were there for well over an hour. EEK!!!
What happened to the fun, good Applebee’s of the ’90’s?!?

Very slow service. Took over 15 minutes before anyone even noticed that we had no drinks in front of us. Finally Jen who was assigned to another section of the restaurant came over and helped out. We appreciated her help and service. Food was ok but very slow on delivery.

This location is terrible, no matter if you are dining in or ordering take out. The food is horrible and the service could not get any worse that here. I have tried this place several times but each time seems to be worse than the previous visit.

Omg. their wonton tacos are to die for! I have been craving them all week! Margaritas are large & oh so yummy. The service is a little slow, but its alright if your not in a rush.

Beyond poor service. We sat for 15 minutes before the manager came and started to make excuses about how she’s not a server. She took our drink and food order… 20 minutes later, we asked the bartender to go ahead and make our drinks. Two police officers were sat next to us and they received their food immediately. Still, we waited another 10 minutes for our SALAD to arrive. We ordered dessert and the manager dropped our check before the dessert even came. Every single time she passed our ta le she just said «triple chocolate», we are STILL waiting for this dessert to arrive after another 15 minutes. Horrible.

I usually don’t ever go to Applebee’s but it was the only thing open that was not too far last night. I got food to go and it took over 20 minutes there were no condiments in the bag and they gave us a trash bag as a Togo bag … Really ?!
I had a pineapple Asian style burger which tasted awful there was NO pineapple ! I won’t be going back … Waste of $ 27 !!!

I am giving one star because the waitress was very friendly. The food was horrible! The chicken tortilla soup was so bad my sister & I only ate about 3 bites. It had some sort of spice in it that wasnt mexican and tasted bad. We ordered the beef and shrimp fajitas and didnt eat more than a few bites each. The only thing we had that was good besides the ice tea was the potato twist. I have been to Applebees in other states and locations and they were good but after tonight I will never go back. Ruined our entire evening!

Will NEVER go again.
Last night, I went with my husband, daughter, and mother to this location at around 7pm. The place had about 7 tables filled. When we sat down, we were expecting a quick service since there was hardly anyone in the place.
Ernest B, our server took our order. We ordered the French onion soup, a 2 for $ 20 meal (ribs and a sirloin), the ultimate trio (with wings and mozzarella sticks), and a kid’s steak meal along with drinks (soda, water, apple juice, and tea)
The salads for the 2 for $ 20 and the soup came out quickly. While we were eating, the server past us FOUR times when our drink cups were empty and while the tea needed refilled.
Finally we get our drinks filled and finish our appetizers. We then sat there for almost 30 mins go the entrees to come. This was finally around 8pm, an hour after arriving. We were irritated already considering there was hardly anyone there!
When my meal (the sirloin) and my husband’s trio came, the food was ice cold and my steak was undercooked. We asked for replacements and the server proceeded to tell us he works in the industry for over 30 yrs and knows the steak is cooked properly (meanwhile my husband is a chef for a living).
Then they bring back the food in about 5 mins and low and behold, the steak is not a new steak, it was reheated! Lord knows if they regrilled it or heated it in the microwave. Plus I already cut into it and health regulations state you cannot reheat food like this due to health concerns. At least my husband’s was warm.
So we got the manager and she made us a new steak. Finally! Almost 2 hours into our dining I finally eat! Did I also mention when my mom ask for another refill on her tea, this time the manager refilled it and brought it in a to-​GO cup! Are you serious? Trying to rush us out much due to your lack of service?
Then when we are checking out the server brings our check along with the manager. She was polite to comp about $ 6 from our meal and my husband asked for a breakdown of the bill. The server then proceeds to tell my husband that the POS system doesn’t lie since its a computer system and we do not need an explanation of the bill. The manager hears this and says NOTHING.
I about lost it! Believe me, corporate has heard from us. This is beyond the worse service I have EVER received in my life. That server needs to be fired. I can see why they have no business.
Let’s just say Ernest did not receive a tip and we will NEVER step foot in this place again.

Worst experience. Overcooked steak and undercooked hamburger, baked potato, and broccoli. Price of food for what you get is not worth it. Service was poor and manger didn’t seem to care. I will NOT be going back!!! Don’t waste your time and money!

It has been years since I have been to an Applebee’s. We went to this location on a rainy New Years’ Day for my Aunt’s Birthday. The menu and inside seemed very NEW. Completly remodeled due to the construction (I assume).
Nice happy hour choices, but not super strong. We ordered a rita, house red wine, and a bahama mamma. Side not they only carry pepsi no DP. Appetizer sampler to share. Good but nothing special.
Entrees we ordered Steak, green goodess salad, loaded baker, four cheese mac with chicken strips and the Asian salad. My aunt had something off the new «healthy» whole grain menu. Don’t remember the name. All were good and better quality then I remembered. Resonable prices.
I would go back, but nothing to write home about.

Tried this applebee s again last night only because I saw that they were open on thanksgiving. BAD IDEA! First off the service is shady here, it’s pretty much hit or miss depending on who you get.
The food is below par, horrible. I got the cheese sticks and they were warm, not piping hot. I asked for ranch and still ended up getting pizza sauce :/​
The ribs were horrible, dry and chewy. Applebee’s back in the day used to be better than Chili’s so I thought, but now I wouldn’t eat either.

Management here sucks! First time and never again. Their chicken was only half way cook and it was bleeding! And they didn’t even acknowledge it when I complained! Never gonna come back here again!

The food is so generic. Don’t waste your time. I swear the potatoes are instant. Chilis is WAYYYY better. Or any other restaurant on that strip. Dirty silverware.

So. Gross. If I could give it 1 star I would. I went 30 years not eating here. I don’t regret it.
Honestly? Tastes like they just heat up food in a microwave.
The spinach dip was the only good thing.
Do not get their burgers. They are dry and gross. Crunchy Shrimp is BLAND. ZERO flavor. So gross.
The bartender broke a glass over the ice bucket behind the bar… Didn’t even change the ice. I paid, got up, and walked out. Never going back. Ever.

Came here for lunch with a friend. I didn’t expect much from service and it certainly didn’t exceed expectations. Not a huge deal, but it kinda irks me when no one checks on your drink level. When I asked for a refill on water, had to wait a while. If it were busy I’d get it, but there were maybe 4 or 5 tables tops in the whole place and I just wanted some more water.
On to the food. I ordered the fried green beans and the berry and spinach salad with chicken. Green beans were good, the salad not so much. I could have sworn I saw blueberries on the picture, but mine only had strawberries. They also skimped on the spinach leaves and the sugary dressing that comes on it was way too much. Chicken was bland and I think it could have stood a little more cook time. Sorry AB, not a good experience.
