This is my favorite sushi place. My wife and I have made 60mi trips(one way) on a date night for sushi from this place. Friendly sushi chefs and relaxed atmosphere. Portions are smaller than other places but makes up for it with price and taste. One chef knows us by face and gives a friendly greeting and starts making our specialty roll, that we order every time, as soon as he sees us walk in. Every friend that we have brought in to eat here has liked it and been back without us. I recommend this place as a fast tasty eat at a reasonable price.

Just the worst! Firstly the waitress talked to us with a huge mouthful of food. So disgusting. Also watched her eat and get up and serve food without washing her hands– a total health violation. She forgot out tea– not the most terrible thing. That came after we ordered. There was a big sign that chicken bento special 6.50. We ordered that and took forever, so I asked someone who turned out to be the owner if it was coming. He was so rude. He told us there is a chicken bento and a chicken bento special. I said, great I want the bento special. He then got huffy, stormed off saying something under his breath and left the restaurant. When we left they made me pay for the non special bento– 6 $ more. I told them I wasn’t paying that. They just kind of stood their ground and insisted that the owner told me it was more expensive. He didn’t though– He angrily just barked at us and pretended to solve the problem by charging us whatever he wanted without considering what we actually wanted to order. I told them I wasn’t paying it and had to wait for them to call the owner. Finally they took of the additional charge, but had to wait an extra 15 min. They completely ruined our date– that because of having kids we only get once every 3 months or so. Beyond all this is was just the feeling of them being too mad or flustered to do their job. Never ever going there again! The sushi was meh… Service, actually the worst I’ve ever experienced.

Miso soup was decent. Sushi was sub par. Small portions and overpriced for conveyer belt sushi

There were a only few other costumers there around the time I went, but the track was fullllll of stuff. I saw an old sushi pizza on the track and ordered one(thinking they would make me a fresh one), he grabs one from the track and hands it to me… I asked if it could be warmed up at least. He sticks it into the oven and hands it back. The rice was stale and everything still tasted old. The chefs were still making rolls and filling up the track even when there were barely any costumers! This makes for old food on the track!

Ever been to a «sushi» place that have more chocolate cake on the display than food?! The food they had was stale and old. and cold. Guess they don’t throw anything out. Horrible place, horrible food and seriously plucked up service~! would never ever ever recommend a friend. Maybe an enemy, if I had one. Stay farrr away, you’ve been warned. Wish I had that privilege. I find the five star rating suspect~have to be employees or liars.

Yikes. Came in for the first time and I’ve known about this location for some time. Figured I’d give it a go as I’m a fan of conveyer belt places for a quick sushi fix. I’ve never seen smaller portions. The pieces of fish looked like they were cut with a pair of safety scissors. They were paper thin and extremely jagged. It’s very apparent they are trying to spread their product as much as possible. The rolls were half the size of any other reputable place and their nigiri as well. I’m ok with smaller portions if the quality of fish is good but the quality is that of other conveyer locations. You would do much better going to a different location. The dining experience was awkward and uncomfortable, we gritted our teeth every time we pulled a plate worried it would be ice cold(which some of them were). This place needs a major overhaul. I wish them the best of luck but I cannot see myself returning when there’s so many better options around.

This place is only good if you’re desperate for a quick sushi fix when it’s convenient. The portions were ridiculously small. You could pay the same amount of money for plates at Sushi Hana and get bigger portions and fresher ingredients. Otherwise, Sushi Land is even a much better alternative with cheaper plates and bigger portions. Like another Unilocal!reviewer stated, they use the minimum amount of ingredients they can get away with here. Service was lacking, although friendly. I felt like I annoyed one of the sushi«chefs» with my special order. Everything tasted fishy, odd, or just plain not fresh. I do not expect to be a patron here again. Not worth it. My total came out to be $ 17.55, not including tip and I did not get the satisfaction that a $ 17 meal should give me. I could spend $ 10 or less at another restaurant and be much more filled and satisfied. This is definitely not the place for people with high sushi standards.

Hard to find Japanese food of this quality at a decent price. And a fabulous ambiance to the place. Great miso and very friendly staff.

Been going to this place off & on since it opened, but today was the last time. They were originally really good, but both quality & quantity have left the building. The fish on top of the rainbow roll is so skimpy it barely touches the fish next to it, and so thin you can see through it. The Nigiri is so small I am embarrassed for them. Yes that plate is «always happy hour» but even at 1.95 for salmon nigiri it is over priced. Rice tastes stale & wasabi was too aged out to add any kick. I was there for a Monday dinner. After a few stale plates it occurred to me that there was no a sushi chef making anything. A guy came out of the back once in a while to place on the track from a pile of pre-made plates.

I’m comparison to other sushi bars in the area, this one has been the least impressive so far. However it is not terrible. I’d give it about 2.5 stars actually. They seem to skimp out on the portion size compared to other places and they seem to go sparingly on the fish for the nigiri. It is priced in the cheap end, but I’ve still found better deals elsewhere.

This is a nice sushi place. We’d give it a 3.5 out of 5. It’s not mind blowing, but it’s pretty good. You seat yourself and there is a rotating belt to choose your sushi from. They have all the traditional pieces and a couple of specials including a spicy one called«the volcano». It took a while for the server to count our plates and check us out, we twiddled our thumbs for about 10 minutes before we could get a server to notice us. But everything seemed neat and orderly here. I’m wondering if this is a new place, because it seems so clean and the décor has a modern feel. If you want sushi in this area of Beaverton, this is a cheap place worth trying out.

Such disappointed! I literally threw up everything a moment i got out there. Beware!!! I found bones in their salmon skin roll and I accidentally ate it and it got stuck in my throat right now. I complained but they did nothing about it, no refund, nothing! So I’ll say, this is the worst sushi place I’ve ever been, and I’ll never going back here again.

This place has the track stock full all the time and is great if you enjoy trying some of the less traditional fusion rolls. Would highly recommend the popular volcano roll for a nice charred accent, the Mexico City roll if you don’t mind some spice, and their sockeye salmon was very fresh. The portions are average, price comparable to other sushi track restaurants. They are a little shy with the fish in the more common rolls such as the rainbow and classic sushi on white rice bites. Overall, if you enjoy the sushi track atmosphere, I’d give this place a try!

I hope that people understand that when rating and reviewing a restaurant, you should understand the class and category. This is a 5-star sushi track restaurant! The rolls are tasty and fresh with great ingredients. There aren’t stacks of old sushi from Who Knows When. A great selection of sushi with creative rolls. Also they put out a card with a description of ingredients for the unusual rolls. There are a ton of sushi track places in Beaverton and this is by far the best.

It took a friend a lot of nudging to get me to try this place. I have been going to Sushi Hana near Washington Square for years and I felt there was nothing better on the west side. She continued to insist that this place had great prices like Sushi Hana but was more fresh. Well, she was right. There really was a greater freshness to the fish and the prices were pretty similar. It was a nice atmosphere with friendly staff and it was easy to chat with the sushi makers on the other side of the counter. I got some great stuff and I was very pleased! The portions were a little smaller than Sushi Hana but I felt that the freshness completely made up for it and that is why I’m giving this place 5 stars. I will definitely be back!

I really enjoyed my experience here! The sushi was fresh and delicious and CHEAP and the customer service was outstanding. If something tastes better hot(calamari, shumai etc) then order a fresh batch, just because it’s on the conveyor belt doesn’t mean there aren’t other options! I’d go back if I lived in OR!

Everything about this place is skimped except for the interior decorations. They draw you in with the cheap«happy hour all day» advertisement and come to find that there is a rice shortage in this place on all the rolls. Come on now! Rice is the cheapest part of the roll! Everything is practically weighed out to the least amount that they can get away with… All the ingredients and the fish is poor quality and there is nothing that is of good quality. Even the guys that are making the sushi don’t understand what service is. I ordered a simple crab salad to be made because the seaweed doesn’t taste good when it is soggy. The guy goes and looks for one on the belt and acts like he just made it when giving it me? Please don’t give me the old bottom of the barrel nasty scraps. When I took a bite it tasted old and smelled fishy. This is the first and last time I will be visiting this place.

Hubby and I stopped by for a late lunch at 1:30ish on a weekday. The restaurant itself appears very clean and well decorated. There were a few folks eating and more came and went. We sat a the sushi bar and those stools are not good for us short people, my feet dangled because they are just tall enough that I could not touch the floor, I was a bit uncomfortable. The service was barely average. We sat there for a few minutes while the Manager or Owner guy was talking to the server and Sushi Chef. Finally someone brought us water and tea. You have to catch them and ask for refills they do not offer and the Sushi Chef will not look at you or ask if you want anything special. Most of what was going around the track was unrecognizable, they have some pretty weird stuff, and most of it has a sauce on it. Hubby recognized a few items and finally got the Chef’s attention and had several items made. Most of what was on the track looked like it had been there a longgggggg time. I got the Chicken Bento which was $ 10.50 and did not even come with Miso Soup. The salad dressing was strange and very salty, did not like it at all. The Rice and Teriyaki Chicken were ok. The best part of the Bento was the Tempura, it was hot and fresh and quite tasty. It was certainly not worth the price, made me wish I was eating at Mr. Bento. They advertise«Happy Hour Specials All Day» which is kind of bullshit, their prices are more than just about every other Sushi track place I have eaten. Bottom line, I would go back for convenience sake but it would not be a destination.
