The Reuben here is so satisfying and a great value for the price! The owner here works the front counter and he and his staff work fast and efficiently! He is always friendly. They can get busy here at lunch time, but somehow manage to get your food to you fast even when they have a lot of tickets in. The Beaverton Sub Station has an old fashioned feel and that is what I like about it — I also feel like it’s a good deal financially.

This place has a great old school feel. The owner is a nice guy, and all of the kids that he has working in there are cool. I don’t eat subs all that often, but when I do, this is where I like to go. I usually get a Clancy with Turkey. They don’t give you bad pickles, like some places do. I like dill spears that are crisp. This is a fantastic spot to visit in downtown Beaverton. And, if you have room, you can get ice cream next door!

This is my favorite place for lunch! Their sub rolls are the best I’ve ever tasted. They also really load up their sandwiches… a 6 inch is enough to fill you up! The staff is always incredibly nice. I just wish they had later hours!

Not the best sandwiches I’ve ever had. By far. Their Reuben is not toasted and it’s not an option. Iceberg lettuce is not real food and they rely on it too much as filler. How about some real vegetables? Some kale or romaine lettuce even. Their breads are store bought. Like Oroweat or something. The chips are standard. Lays. Bagels are bland, store bought too. Thomas’, I think. So, why am I giving this place five stars? Because for many years whenever I need a reasonably priced, guaranteed good(but not great) meal, in a pleasant venue with ample seating, free Wi-Fi, this is the place. It’s reliable. It’s old school. It’s like the sub places I used to go to when growing up in New England. I just find myself coming back again and again. The soups(French onion, broccoli cheddar, etc.) always seem to be the same and are not exceptional, but they’re good enough. They have bagel sandwiches, sub sandwiches, and regular sandwiches. Some rather unimpressive looking cookies, but Beaverton Bakery is right down the street if you need dessert. They do, however, have excellent milkshakes made with Tillamook ice cream at a fair price. The staff is ALWAYS friendly and helpful. You won’t have a life changing foodie experience here, but if you want a good, reasonably priced meal at a classic neighborhood restaurant run by a dedicated and pleasant staff, this place should be put in your regular rotation.

I love this place. Reminds me of some of the places I’d frequent growing up on the east coast. It unapologetic about it’s unpretentious-ness and that’s what makes them cool. With a menu board, and prices, that haven’t been updated since the Clinton Administration, the prices are extremely reasonable. A quality sandwich, through and through. I can see why this place was so popular. Will definitely be back!

who ever answers the phones to take orders… is ridiculously rude and sarcastic. he asked me what kind of chips i wanted so i asked what kind they have and he responded with a rather rude tone of voice saying… «basically every chip you’ve ever eaten since you were a child… do you seriously want me to list off every single chip we have?» im sorry but what is so irritating about letting people know what kind of chips you have? ive called in before multiple times and found that this person has always been rude and condescending i called in the other day letting him know where our address is and he interupted me when i was letting him know our business name so that he could say «we deliver there all the time i dont need your address» so i explained to him that we have the same business name but different suit numbers so i wanted to let him know which suit we are in and he said in an irritated voice, «fine, what suit number?» whoever this person is just seems to really hate his job. and i mean REALLY hate his job. im letting everyone in the office know not to call you guys anymore… some people have already expressed to me their same frustarated feelings about the way they are treated over the phone. your not just losing one customer over this, you’ve lost majority of our office.

Come hungry, leave full and satisfied. These guys know how to make a solid sandwich with fresh ingredients. I think they can do a little better on the veggie variety but you get a great sandwich for what you pay. They have a great selection of deli meats and you can get some crazy combos at incrementally higher prices. There’s usually a line at lunch but they’re efficient. They also have soups and salads if you’re into that as well.

Beaverton sub station is excellent. A traditional sub shop, great sandwiches, great soup, salads, and cookies :). Not to mention the people who work here are awesome. And you get all of that for a very reasonable price!

I love this place and ma and pa feel. Best subs in town! Ever since I discovered this place 5 years ago I have yet to be disappointed and wonder why anyone would ever do Subway, JJ, etc etc ever again. Go here!

Loved it from the moment I walked in… it was like taking a step back in time. The affable owner greeted me with a smile and told me I was in for a treat since it was my first visit. I ordered the three-car with ham, turkey & roast beef with a caboose of bacon. Cars=meats in case you didn’t catch on… I took a little liberty by calling the bacon a caboose but I’m sure Chuck won’t mind. Let me just say that he makes a mean sandwich & I’m a fan for life, if I ever make it back here. The sub was packed with lettuce, tomato, onions, spices & provolone cheese & served on a bakery roll from just down the street at Beaverton Bakery.

My wife and I go here about once a month for lunch. It is always crowded and there is not a lot of parking. That should tell you they must have good food. From sandwiches to cookies, these guys do it right. The bread is fresh every day from the Beaverton Bakery down the street. That is the foundation of the best sandwich around. Add high quality meats and cheeses, some lettuce and oil and you have a real deal sub. No yoga mats here. No sir. Nothing fancy, but everything delicious.

Huge sams served up by friendly folks for very fair prices. The 6″ even with one meat selection is damn huge if you get the default fresh roll os your bread. I have tried a 3 meat(they call it 3 car) Italian style same and a simple 1 meat turkey with avocado. So far it’s all ben tasty and it’s nice to get a sam from a local shop vs a chain. One note is that when I have ben there the ice tea has been terrible, that’s my only complaint really, other than that it’s a great place to get a sam.

Should start by saying this sandwich immediately went into my top five sandwiches of all time. Staring at the menu, I ask myself what the point of the six car would be? One car = one meat; two cars = two meats, etc. I can see the glory in a roast beef and turkey, or even a beef, turkey and ham(like a club sandwich), but six is just overdoing it. Fast forward to the part where Dad and I split a foot-long six car(waaaaaay bigger than expected) with almost literally everything on there, including horseradish and banana peppers. Dear. Lord. One of the best sandwiches I’ve ever eaten. Great meats, cheese and produce. A respectable amount of lettuce, tomato and onion. Not overly dressed and with tasty condiments. Well worth it to have it on the sub roll made about 200 feet up the road at Beaverton Bakery. You must try this sandwich shop. I lived in the Portland area from birth until age 18 and then even spent a couple of years in Beaverton proper without ever trying Sub Station. TRYITNOW! Fun side note: the owner is a great guy and fun to BS with regarding sandwiches and how good his are.

One day I decided to try, and I love this place! Never had a better sandwich. I got the Clancy and added cucumbera and what I really enjoy is that the sandwich is very filling and delicious. They have a awesome variety of specialty sandwiches. It’s quick to make and the staff are friendly!

An old-school sandwich shop in old town. Great atmosphere, fantastic sandwiches, and fast, happy service. Two rooms in the shop add needed seating. Huge variety of 6″ and 12″ sandwiches that can be loaded with up to 6 different meat combos(The Six Car). All sammies come with tomatoes, lettuce, provolone, onions and spices. Heated if you like it that way. The owner Chuck was making our sandwiches today, and was smiling all the while, joking and making customers happy. A really great experience. Highly recommended!

God, this place is delicious. I can barely even stand to write this review because I’m not eating a Clancy right now. They don’t skimp on fillings, delicious bread, amazing milkshakes. Friendly staff. It gets crowded around lunchtime, because it is a sandwich shop and that is a food people enjoy eating for lunch(I’ll never understand why people complain about crowds at peak times). Well worth a visit!

Great place Privately owned by a guy that is heavily involved in his community. That alone should get him the stars. Add to that the fantastic sandwich selection, custom orders, fast service. Go here and check out the line, see how fast its moving. that should be your sign. It’s a great place

WOW. great food, for a great price. And the other places that say. «Eat fresh» There not. Sub Station is truly fresh! Portion sizes are huge. A 6″ is 50% more food than the other places 6″ for the same if not less price. So be careful not to order too much. I work at a local business and have it delivered; they bring it over on a bicycle for just 50 cents!.. How cool is that?! This is my new spot for subs!

How in the world I missed adding a review of my favorite sandwich place, I have been eating sandwiches from here for 20 plus years. My Hairdresser used to have them deliver us sandwiches(via their cute bicycle) when I would have highlights done!(took forever, needed nourishment). Personally I love the Clancy and am a fan of the Chef Salad, so yummy. You cant go wrong with anything on the menu. It is family owned and ran and a Beaverton institution for as long as I can remember. It is crowed as hell at lunchtime but they are fast, a little disorganized at times, but worth the wait! Their sandwiches and salad’s are so well priced, I don’t know how they can continue to charge so little for their food, but good for them!
