Back To Basics Chiropractic PC

I had been curious to try a chiropractor, found Back to Basics through a Groupon deal and decided to give it a try.
Nothing but wonderful things to say about the doctors here. They were always incredibly kind, great to chat with, and delivered excellent adjustments. If it were the service alone I had to rate, I’d give it a 5.
Alas, I’m giving it three stars because I feel they sold me on an unnecessary package. As I said, I came in on kind of whim but after looking at my slouchy x-​rays they advised that I would need adjustments 2 – 3 times a week for several months. Not knowing any better and thinking I could use all the help I could get as I trained for my first half-​marathon, I handed over my credit card to prepay for all the appointments for a discounted package. It was only after talking to a friend who worked at a different chiropractic office that she expressed 2 – 3 times a week was a pretty drastic schedule considering I was 26, healthy, and came in with no injuries to speak of.
I questioned the package I was in to some of the women at the front desk, both over the phone and in person, and although I found them personable and lovely people– they made a big deal about how it would be bad to stop treatments halfway.
Again, torn because the service itself was nice and everyone there was so kind — but ultimately I felt taken advantage of. Do yourself a financial favor, and check with your primary care doctor before letting this place sell you on an $ 800+ package. Chances are, you really don’t need it.

Fantastic service! Dr. Steve is the best. I feel so much better and I swear I’m taller. Lol

Dr. Paul is amazing. I have been treated by him for over a year now. He is always positive and very helpful. I trust in the care of Back to Basics Chiropractic more than any other facility in Portland, and I have been to a number of others. I recommend everyone I know to this place.
They have been very flexible with my busy work schedule. I have even droped in to see another Dr. when mine was busy.
I also like all of the information the company provides. I think it is nice to see a company care enough to educate their customers.
The new location is very nice. I am happy that they moved. Don’t be afraid to travel a little to see these chiropractors. You will not be disappointed!
