Aloo paratha is really tasty and huge. I found vada pav to be ok and not as authentic as you get in Bombay. The chaats are on sweeter side but you can ask to make them spicy. This is a good place for trying Indian fast food.

I went here with a Unilocal coupon of 10% off on checkin. The person at the counter ruefully said He does not know what this Unilocal is..

I have had bad experiences as well as few good at this place, they seem to be improving their food and service as time is passing. Kolkata chicken Roll is my favorite thing there bt the place is too small and in the evening it gets too crowded and the place doesn’t attracts as it should.

Relative to what else is out here in Oregon, I’d say Chaat n Roll is very authentic for … well … chaats … and their kathi rolls. I have eaten a lot of Indian street food in my life(in India) and the food here is as good as it gets in Oregon. Wasn’t a huge fan of their biryanis and thalis but that’s okay. I don’t have to like everything I eat at a restaurant to give it 5 stars. My favorites are their … dahi puri, pani puris, kathi rolls, masala dosa, samosas, indo chinese food and desserts(esp their matka kulfi — pricey but you get what you pay for).

Eating at this restaurant is like forceful listening of thrash music since it’s the only Indian restaurant Nearby open until 10. Parking: kinda tough and busy during busy hours Ambience: average and no complaints Waiting time: usual not so late Price: average not so pricey. Paratha costs you $ 7 which is way filling for one person. Taste: Any North Indian food is not a representation of North Indian food. For eg;-parathas are oil roasted to its end. They are so crispy outside and the texture is not same as an actual soft parathas that you get elsewhere . Chikoo milkshake is good.

I had a Paneer Roll yesterday. The food was tasty but I strongly believe that it is overpriced. I agree their Kulfi is good but $ 6 + for it is a lot. We have visited the place multiple times in the past. Service is ok(could improve).

Tried the butter chicken. It was too tomato-y, and while butter chicken is usually already pretty mild, I specified mild so my toddler son(who likes a little spicy) could also eat it… and it came out way too spicy even after asking for mild. Asking for mild of an already mild dish, should be nearly not spicy at all. Very disappointed that I couldn’t give any to my child. Also 12 bucks was steep for what it was. Ordered the 65 roll for my hubby. He didn’t like it. I didn’t think it was bad. Not much else to say. May give them another chance with something else.

I’ll start by saying I know very little about Indian food. I know much more about flavor and this place has it. Their goat biryani is one of the most flavorful things I have ever eaten! I cannot compare it to other Indian food as I haven’t had enough, but this small place makes me want to try many more things.

Had the dabeli here, the flavors were ok, obviously you can’t recreate the street side taste that these things need in order to be authentic but nevertheless was a good attempt. However it is way too expensive I feel for the amount of food you get.

I always have a hit or miss kind-of experience here. The food is either excellent or a total dud. But the experience of excellence always draws me back. The Best — The Sev Puri, Samosas and Dabeli(Are Good Most of the time) The Ok — thali, biryani The dud — Well depends on your luck My review might be a little objective as i am a vegetarian. So i would say, give this place a try if you want to get a Indian street food experience. Be safe and order the items mentioned here for a hopefully pleasant first time experience. Side note: The false flooring can get slippery, so be careful.

Amazingly delicious chaats. We had samosa chaat, ragda patties, mirchi bhaji, gobi manchurian and last but not the least mango lassi. My cravings for spicy chaat was satiated when I had chaats here. Giving it a four star because the gobi manchurian did not taste as we expected it to be. It was bland ! Hopefully it tastes better when we have it next time.

I would have given .5 star extra for their friendly staff. Decent ambience with decent food. We ordered samosa chaat, baryani, kati roll and masala dosa. I have eaten better samosa chaat and masala dosa in Hillsboro/Beaverton area. I MIGHT go back again.

Here comes an honest review long due. We had a party in October 2015 and got food from Chaat n Roll. We were overall very happy with our experience. The quality of the food and taste pleased us as well as our guests very much. We had ordered samosa, paneer biryani, chilly chicken and mutton biryani. There was plenty of mutton, well done and soft, biriyani was spiced right. Samosa had the right balance of crunch outside and hotness inside. Chilly chicken was surprisingly good and could live up to our taste buds, which are used to flavors of Tangra(Chinatown of Calcutta). Tej took our order over the phone, price was very reasonable and gave us slight discount for large volume of order too. Food was ready in time. We reached late, but they had managed to keep it warm, which was very appreciated! They also packed the food real well such that there were no spill of Raita and salon in car. Overall, could not have asked for better service. Thanks to you all :)

The samosa chaat was a single samosa plonked in the chole gravy and garnishes. For 6.49 $, I expect more quantity. Look at Apna Bazaar: tastes far better, piping hot and more in quantity and lesser in price! The vada pav potato filling was meh. Never coming back here again!

I visited them the first week they opened and didn’t have a great experience as service was slow and food was also just very average. I have been to their Seattle location and had high expectations since the food there is pretty good. Went in a second time on a weekday evening when there was not much rush. Tried the Samosa chaat, Sev Puri, Paneer paratha and Mango shake. The chaat items were very good and the spice levels were nice and i felt it was as good as the Seattle location. the Paratha was huge and very filling though a little oily. The Mango shake is little different as its made with Milk instead of yogurt.

One of the poorly managed restaurants. They don’t have any organization with respect to orders. I waited 90minutes for my order to arrive fully: complained twice and then walked out. Not a single sorry from either owner or the cashier. While I was there, I saw so many folks frustrated similarly: so many folks who went up to the cashier that they got wrong order. It’s not like the taste of items was good: just ordinary stuff… just because no other Indian joint calls themselves«chaat» does not mean they are the only ones. Try India Sweets and Spices or Apna Bazaar. Avoid at all costs until they get their act together. Foodwise: Calcutta katti roll w/Chicken: Pretty good. 555 Paneer biryani: decent… definitely spicy. Gobi paratha: pretty good.

We’re Excited for this Seattle based Indian Fast food chain to open in Hillsboro! Seattle locations serves chaats, parathas and Chole bhaturas. This one has chaats, biryani, rolls and thali options! I tried veggie thali, pav bhaji and Alu tikki chaat! I am kind of disappointed with my thali! Not fresh okra sabji. Very dry and chewy. Butter paneer again was disappointment. There was no sweet served in thali.(I understand it was first day) Pav bhaji was good. Bhaji was mild spicy and tasted fine. Pav was on a sweeter side. Alu tikki chaat. There was one patty and some chick pea chaat. Not worth $ 6.5. I understand it is a new place. Will give it a try may be once they settle down with teething issues.
