I come here often, always for take out. The lady that takes the orders is always extremely friendly and helpful. The food has always been great and fresh. It’s always quick too.

Not recommended. Stay away. Asian lady at the counter was rude. My friend bought a meal, while I bought only a soda. She gave me a dirty look thinking, «Is this all you’re going to have?» Listen Asian lady, learn some manners. It’s called«customer service.» My friend’s meal was done in 5 minutes. I glanced at his takeout box. The food was simply heated in the microwave. The kitchen must have cooked the food days ago and then simply had to reheat it. I’m going to return to the restaurant, only to buy a soda can again. Kiss my behind dragon lady.

The lady that usually takes my order is nice. The food is good. They give you a good portion. Veggies are added and a good amount of rice. When i order and go they cook the food in a quick amount of time. They have pictures of the plates on their window to look at before you go in. The furniture is a bit old and can use a little updating and cleaning.

The lady at the counter isn’t the friendliest but my beef bowl was good. They give you a lot of rice. Décor needs updating.

The service is fantastic and the gyozas are great. Best teriyaki in the area.

I used to go here a bit — loved the chicken/shrimp plate and my wife enjoyed the pot sticker plate. However, last time I went there, the curtain to the kitchen was open and I saw the person cooking taste the food with the cooking spoon. She then put that spoon back into the wok and stirred the food. Then she grabbed a bottle of spice, shook some in, tasted, stirred, seasoned more, tasted, and then stirred more. All with the same spoon! I prefer my food with no added bits of chef saliva so I will not be returning.

You can skip this place. The food I had tasted like reheated leftovers or something — I don’t know what. Better teriyaki can be had and for less money elsewhere.

I am a friend of the family who owns this restaurant so I have been here many times. First of all, it is not a chain. Aloha Teriyaki is a quaint, hole-in-the-wall type restaurant owned by a local Korean family. If you come here expecting supreme quality food, you will be disappointed. If you need a decently portioned, decently priced, and satisfying teriyaki, this place will leave you happy and full. The demographic of people who come here are mostly employees on their lunch break, so they are not trying to please the foodie crowd(which is what I assume most Unilocal reviewers are). They are very loving people that work in a very stressful industry. If they seem rude, they are probably just struggling with their English(which isn’t the best, admittedly). It is not the cleanest restaurant, but they will gladly clean your table again if you are not satisfied. It is definitely worth a shot.

The food is good, but the service for my family and I is fantastic! The owners are always very friendly and treat us great from the second we walk in. They give my daughter a sucker each time and make us feel at home. Portion sizes are adequate with a good selection to choose from. They have a special of the day every day of the week which is great at enticing you to try something new. Overall, its a great place to go when you don’t want to cook at home.

I believe this is part of the local Kokiyo chain. At least I’ve been to a few with that name. I went here for a quicko lunch. This location is bigger than others I’ve been to. Overall, a chicken bowl is pretty tasty and a good value here at $ 4.50. I got more food here than at the one I usually go to. Can’t say that the lady at the counter is the friendliest, at least she didn’t come across that way. The food came very quickly, at the same time as a couple other orders. It wasn’t as hot and fresh as I’ve gotten at the other location, but this was my first visit here. The vegetables on the side included celery. I’m not a fan of celery and never got it before. This place, like most other cheap teriyaki places, while clean, the tables kind of have a sticky feeling to them. Wiping down is ok, but you really need a good cleaning to get up the spilled sticky teriyaki sauce. I’ll probably be back, it’s a decent deal and closer.

The food wasn’t terrible, but wasn’t good either. It worked for something quick and close to home, but I won’t be giving it another chance. The taste and texture made me picutre a big freezer of pre-prepped food that’s thrown into a fryer as it’s ordered. I know that’s not uncommon, but I don’t have to give it points either. More than the mediocre food, I was put off by the bad attitude at the counter and the dilapitated dining area. Crappy service and non-existent presentation pretty well sums up how hard they’re trying.

Unfortunately, my experience here was very disappointing. The outside advertisement is deceiving from the inside. From the outside it portrays clean, fresh, healthy asian food. Unfortunately the food was far from that. I ordered their version of «orange chicken» and it tasted old, soggy and greasy. They say you can tell the quality of an asian restaurant with their rice… in this situation I would have to say that there is some truth to that. The rice they give me was dry and scrapped from the bottom of the rice cooker. The interior decoration and cleanliness of the restaurant was lacking. I should have walked out the moment I walked through the doors but I wanted to give them a chance. Unfortunately, the topping on the cake for a poor experience at Aloha Koyiko Teriyaki is that the owner was rude, to «Tristin T» I must have caught them on a bad day. I hate wasting food and money … sadly I threw my plate away after a couple of bites.

This place is pretty good. I’ve had their chicken teriyaki and their yakisoba and I was pleased with both. Pretty average teriyaki joint. I can’t complain.

I am not sure what I was expecting, but I was fairly disappointed. The food was just very average. I tried the Pot Stickers and they were a strange consistency, but they were the best of both items I ordered. I ordered the Chicken and Fried Shrimp Combination Teriyaki Plate. The bottom of the plate was a solid mass of rice, it was to sticky it was almost hard to eat. Then there was some sliced chicken with Teriyaki Sauce and about 2 tablespoons of steamed veggies. There were 4 Shrimps and I had no idea what the breading consisted of, never seen or had anything like it before. I just did not think it was good, certainly not good enough to ever go back. There were a few people in an out at the noon hour, and the owners were very nice. You place your order at the counter, they dump off your plate and that is the last time they communicate with you.

I’ve eating here a couple times while down that way since I am a teriyaki person. To me it was good food. Service was great.

My wife and I got take out here the other day — very, very good food and the service was quick. They give you way too much sauce, but I guess that’s better then too little. Compared to Nice Rice down the street, this place wins hands down.

I wanted to like this place because the owners were very friendly, but being nice and friendly does not make up for all the tables being dirty. The place was grungy but what was worse was the food was not even good. The gyoza was rubbery, and the teriyaki plate I had was drinched in SUPER sweet teriyaki sauce. I tried to combat the sickly sweet syrup sauce with spicy serache(rooster sauce) but even that lost the war and all I could taste was thick sweet teriyaki sauce. I gave two stars cause well the owners were nice but I won’t be back.
