I went in to find some parts for some drum hardware. I thought it might be a challenge but Matt located everything I needed in about 7 minutes and everything is a perfect match. It only cost $ 3.25 too, what a great value. I almost felt bad I wasn’t paying more because it turned a $ 35 item back into a $ 70 item. thanks guys

I’ve been living in this neighborhood since Ace Hardware was up in Murrayhill Marketplace. We were all so sad they closed there, but Home Depot and Lowes took a bite out of their business and they just couldn’t afford to stay there. They are back and closer to me now, and I love that I can go there for, primarily, the smaller things I need, e.g. bags of potting soil, some screws, a can of spray paint, etc. They definitely have supplies for bigger jobs, but their focus is more on homeowners like me that need to run down to the store and pick up stuff for their project.

I love this store. Conveniently located. Friendly helpful staff. I showed up minutes after the store was closing, in search of a lightbulb for our travel trailer and the Manager let me in and helped me find the correct bulb which got us on the road for vacation travels. Never have I had a bad experience at this store.

Great customer service and employees are constantly checking-​in, once anyway. I never have felt abandoned or unnoticed in the Progress Ridge store.
Serious deals can be found perusing the isles looking for sales updates on prices. I’ve found over 50% savings on lots of items that were not discontinued, and that I truly thought I needed. I have no trouble convincing myself of this on a regular basis, especially related to tools, great food and good beer.
Regular prices are a bit high related to big box stores, but the convenience offsets the cost of fuel to travel across town. This is where I go for small hardwares, I will research and shop OSH, HD or Lowes for the big-​ticket items.

I like this store. There is no home depot or lowes close by so we needed store like this in our neighborhood in case you need to get hardware right away.
People works there are very friendly and helpful. One time, I had to return bunch of small things but they give me refund right away and did not ask me repackaging fee.

Best Store Ever. The crew here is over the top and provide the BEST customer service. We recently needed some paint and supplies and drove across town to come to this store. Owner made our day by matching a price. We will shop here for all our needs.

This is the perfect place to go when you need to grab a simple item in a timely manner. Because they are smaller, it is easy to navigate or find someone to help you navigate. The paint guy is really really friendly and helpful! Wish I remembered his name!

Excellent, over the top, great service EVERY time. They know my husband by his first name and make him feel like a celebrity every time he comes in. Good employees with solid product knowledge. Owners are usually present which is what is required to keep a business running. It absolutely pains me to ever have to go to Home D#@&? or Lo/​€$. They even had a battery for my watch.

Sanding block and work gloves on the list Antique footed dresser needs some work.
These dudes know how to hook a lady up. Every time I’ve been in there lately, I have found an incredibly customer focused group of employees. Polite, friendly, very helpful (without trying to sell you stuff you don’t need) they will take you right to the items you are looking for.
Ace may be a wee bit more spendy than the big box stores, but I prefer my helpful hardware wo/​man to really be helpful and not just point me in the opposite direction and run.

The people walking around the store offering to help are always nice and helpful. Answering questions, showing items and options. Even helping with ideas.
But i get to the check out and they are almost always rude. Usually talking to another worker and sometimes don’t stop to really help. They never thank me for shopping there. Half the time they don’t even acknowledge that we are done. They just hand me my receipt then stand there. I say thanks for the help and walk away and that’s it. Just odd…
My recommendation: go for the stuff and isle service, when you get up front don’t expect a lot and just get out. :)

Called the store Before the Store was open and a man named Bob answered with a pleasant voice ready to help me. I was honestly shocked that someone answered the phone and was willing to help me find what I had been searching for online, but didn’t want to wait to have the item shipped to me if I could pick it up at my local hardware store.
What a great way to start off a MONDAY MORNING!

I went in for a $ 15 purchase, but you’d think I was spending $ 15,000 the way everyone catered to my every little need. One person helped me find the right screws I needed for a project, another helped me find the right primer, another saw it in my hand and asked if I needed it shaken (which I’d forgotten about) and the first gentleman helped me find a hinge. It was kind of surreal…

I am so glad we now have an Ace Hardware in our neighborhood! We used to have to go to the one at 185th and TV Highway in Aloha and the parking is terrible at that location. This Ace is in the new shopping center across from Big Al’s and next to New Seasons — plenty of parking! The store is large — the layout isn’t as cramped as the one in Aloha, has the usual great selection of hardware and other goodies and the staff has been friendly and helpful the 2 times we’ve been in the store. So happy to have them close and will definitely be going back!

Brand new Ace Hardware nearby so I needed a 13 mm wrench and thought it would be the best opportunity. Hey had a great selection and they even had one made in the USA with internal ratcheting. Can’t beat that. I will definitely be back.
