I visit this particular store several times a week as the food is usually excellent. The last couple of weeks I’ve noticed the service has increasingly gotten slower. Particularly today as several wait staff buzzed past me without a word. After several minutes I get up to leave and one of the waitresses that had bypassed me a couple times asks if I’ve been helped. I reply no and she quickly says that they can rush my food. Rush my food? No thanks I only have a certain amount of time to eat every morning so that’s been squandered and alas no breakfast for me today. Check when you arrive and if there are more than twenty patrons you may want to consider a different eatery.

Unfortunately Waffle House was better… Order: Egg Whites, Yogurt, Sausage Patty, French Toast, Biscuit and Apple butter. The Egg whites was served in small portions. The yogurt was bland and the nuts and Granola was stale and soggy. The sausage patty was«store bought», nothing to remember. The French toast was plain, no extras, just egg and toast. The Apple butter was disgusting!(no further comments) The biscuit was plain, Pillsbury makes them better. In summary: Cracker Barrel should re-visit its roots. Get back the the basic of what made it a great restaurant. Unfortunately I will not be back. The staff was great, I did not experience the issues that was un-covered in previous reviews.

I am warning anyone who is reading this to not go to this Cracker Barrel location. This was the worst experience I have ever had at this chain. Stopping after a long day of traveling this truly ruined my day. I am even urged to call the corporate office to complain. The service was absolutely atrocious. The server completely messed up our order in every way possible and in addition to that the food was cold and un satisfying. I felt like I threw money down the drain and I would hate for that to happen to anyone else reading this. Stay clear from this Cracker Barrel, very clear.

My water glass was dirty, dirty silverware and a dirty salad bowl. Seems like they have a hard time cleaning. Will not eat here

Cracker Barrel. What can your say and ask for! Always great food and had a great wait staff. Was relatively busy as most CB are, but had minimal wait for ordering and food. Good was tasty as always and left with a full happy tummy.

Love love cracker barrel! Great food good prices, good size portions. Really enjoy the shop, fun to browse while you wait for a table. Nostalgic candy, cute crafts, fun inexpensive stuff. They serve breakfast all day and have a great lunch and dinner menu.

Each year at Christmas time, my family picks a waiter who we all feel unanimously should get a $ 20 tip. It’s not much but it is our little way of sharing our Christmas spirit and teaching our young children about giving to others. Today we gave our Christmas tip to Octavious. His service was outstanding and by far the best service we have ever had at Cracker Barrel in Beaumont. He made sure our food was cooked to perfection and took care of all refills without asking. He is friendly and one of the hardest workers at this location. If you go eat here be sure to ask for him as your waiter!

The food here is about par for the chain. It was pretty dang good. I can’t help but get breakfast food each time I go. I typically get the Grandpa’s Country Fried Breakfast. I get it with two eggs, grits, biscuits, hashbrown casserole, and a chicken fried steak. This past time I went the steak was overcooked just a hair. It was still tasty enough to me, so I just went on and ate it. The service was pretty fair this time as well, but they only had eight tables with customers so it should have been pristine. It took longer to get the drinks out than I expected. Again, it was slow and should be quicker. Outside of that, the service was very quick and friendly. The waiter did check on my party a few times just to make sure we had what we wanted. I think the worst thing I saw was the mens room. There was no soap in the dispensers and one of the paper towel holders was empty as well. The floor needed to be swept something awful bad as well. I did mention this to an employee and she said she would get right on it. She said it with conviction, so perhaps she did. Afterall, it was slow and the perfect time to do this.

Had the opportunity to try this location again recently. This time we tried a take out order. Again, we were very disappointed. Had to call three times just to get our order in. The first 2 times my call was switched to a 2nd person that hung up on us twice. They ran out of meatloaf; a mainstay comfort food item! The 20 minute prep time turned out to be 45 minutes! We only had 2 entrees with sides and dessert! How hard can that be when the restaurant is only half full!!! The food was decent but the service here is terrible. I love CB, but this location is well below standards. The I don’t think I’ll be coming back.
