A good selection of beer(draft, domestic, ipa and etc). The pitchers were good priced(high teens to low twenties). Since I came here on a weekend, I didn’t expect any special deals. This place would be a solid 3 stars, but the DJ music was way too loud that you could not even hear the person next to you. I could understand having a DJ for New Years and the place was packed. However, it was a low key night and there was no need to have the music all turnt up. More of a 2.5 star experience.

As I entered this dive bar establishment, I could say the first drink wasbetter than the others that follow but at the closing of my «tab» I feel as though, all were equally«Meh» on the would I return again measurement scale… so let’s get to it… I was greeted by a friendly female bartender who seemed to be engorged in conversation by the local Bayside drunks who drown themselves in hard liquor at the wee hours of the am. I seated myself at the end of the bar facing the door for some privacy and to be just far enough away from one of the regulars incessant squealing… anywho… I saw a wine bottle behind the bar and asked the waitress for a glass… it was a red cabornet… and very room temperature as well, almost reminiscent of warm spit. I don’t put ice in wine so I dare not ask for a cold glass, for I feared what she might do being that I’m sure she was pretty aware it was a warm skunky bottle already. I started off with the Jalepeño Poppers and although the presentation wasn’t bad, they tasted like something you find in the frozen food aisle at Costco or BJ’s. The quesadilla was tasty but I was turned off when I had to ask for salsa and sour cream and especially when I saw my tab and the price for this quesadilla… overall, waste of my solo lunch time, won’t be back.

This is a nice place to grab a few beers during the evening with friends or co-workers. Grapefruit shandy on tap was EVERYTHING, so delicious. Our bartender had a very funny, quirky, and sassy personality which was fun. A narrow bar with dark wood paneling, and TV to watch sports events. Would definitely come back here again.

This place was really cool. Lots of craft beers on tap and a decent lunch menu. The bartender was sweet. She took really good cares of us!

Four stars purely because they carry the grapefruit beer. Only had one beer here and left.

My favorite bar. I’m a Long Island man blessed with the commute from Port Washington to New York City. I also consider myself lucky to have access to Bell Blvd’s best bar, Local. It stands out due to it’s beer and liquor selection, great food, and top notch bartenders. Dominique, Audrey, and Ashley to name my personal favorites provide some of the best service, consistently I highly recommend this establishment towards anyone looking for a drink, good food, late night entertainment, or any option imaginable on legendary New York scene Bell Blvd. –DD

It’s so dead here on a Saturday night, so plenty of seating but no young crowd. It’s just a bunch of drunk middle aged men scream and carrying on. The bartenders are very nice. Maybe a little too nice to the male customers, but I guess u gotta flirt to make money in an empty bar. The dj was ok played good up to date songs. But the reason I come here is the drink special on a Saturday night. No where on bell but here can u get $ 2.00 beer and $ 3.00 shots. Since me and my friends are just out to drink and hanging out this place isn’t so bad. But if your looking to mix and mingle maybe meet a hot guy/girl need to look else where.
