Precious Bistro

Anytime I want good take out, I call up precious. My family has picky eaters, vegans, those following gastric surgery and grown men all in it, and precious has something delicious for everyone! We get our delivery in timely manner, and the delivery man is always super polite.
When we want a different setting, and we go there to dine in, it’s so relaxing and dim, perfect to help you forget about your stress and just enjoy a meal with your closest friends and loved ones.
I would strongly suggest there chicken fried rice, crispy honey chicken and there steamed chicken with veggies and garlic sauce! To die for! I am already looking forward to Thursday– were having a late New Year’s Day celebration with family and we already decided one precious for dinner!

Bland! We had dinner for 6 last night and I was definitely not impressed. I really miss Asian Palace as a sit-​down place. A bunch of people recommended this place and I was sorely disappointed.
I had the roast duck and it was incredibly bland. It was served with a plum sauce, not with a savory sauce. My step-​mom ordered moo shoo pork and wasn’t given her sauce. Dad ordered shrimp with lobster sauce, a standby for him, and it was ok but not great. My husband ordered eggplant in garlic, and he liked it, but it was loaded with msg. We’re all feeling swollen and miserable today.
They don’t do pots of tea, we had to keep asking for things that are normally just provided in a Chinese restaurant. Meh.
If this is what passes for Chinese in Bayonne I’ll wait til I get to Manhattan.

Not exactly Chinese, but a pan-​Asian style restaurant. Clean and good tastes compared to the other Chinese restaurants in Bayonne.
BTW, their delivery is fast!

Ordered General Tours chicken, honey chicken and I don’t believe the chicken was actually chicken. It may have been some type of fritter but definitely not whole chicken. The chicken and pineapple fried rice was not fried rice it was white rice with dole pineapple with boiled chicken pieces.

They are our Chinese go to! Fresh, flavorful, perfectly seasoned. Deliveries are super fast with awesome, courteous drivers grinning ear to ear, handing the food over proudly. Non greasy, awesomeness. Wish they would offer Groupons or menu coupons.

I’m sorry to say — the food here has gone downhill. We used to order from this place and the food was terrific but they’ve changed chefs and now they’re so inconsistent now you never know when things will be good but you can bet something will be bad.
I told the girl at least twice and to no avail — the food never improved even when they sent something to make up for what we complained about — it still was barely edible.
House special fried rice is ok, asked for a gen tso extra spicy and it tasted like sugar, egg rolls tasted old, egg drop soup with no flavor, etc. etc. Waste of $ 35 if you ask me. Never again.

Nota typical. chinese food. Clean, Good presentation and foods taste good. Defonitely recommended. Maybe fried chicken need to deep fried more. I like it very crispy

This used to be my favorite place to order, their new driver left an experience that was less than to be desired. I called the restaurant to complaint about his attitude but it did not seem like it mattered much. I recommend Asian Palace or Yummy Yummy and probably will be the only two I do business with moving forward. I don’t like writing reviews but this was a terrible experience and have been ordering from them for the past 3 years. Hopefully they take care of their new found short comings.

We ordered the duck in scallion sauce… it was mostly all scallion sauce
shrimp fried rice, which had shrimp that was cut up.

Precious Bistro is the best Chinese Rest. In Bayonne! I was never an eater of Chinese food until I ate here! They offer a lot more choices of food then any other in Bayonne! As far as the service I’ve gotten to know the two owners on a first name basis and are always pleasant and always offering free soda or egg roll everytime I order. If your in the mood for some good food make sure you stop at Precious Bistro you will be happy you did!

Bad service and the food is horrible. They take an hour to deliver and I ordered the boneless spare ribs which were not all pork. A piece at the bottom tasted disgusting and was all stringy. After tasting that I had to throw the rest out and go vomit. I’m never ordering from there again.

My first time ordering, I am not a fan of the crab rangoon… not sure what they stuffed them with— it surely was not cream cheese. Not sure if I’ll order from here again or not.

it does get good points for décor but food is really salty in this place saltier than any chinese joint. pad thai is straight from a box. you can make a better one than what they make.

Great Asian fusion takeout. Thai, Chinese or Japanese Hibachi items, all good. Standards are delicious, try curry shrimp or Singapore noodles. Soups are delicious and appetizers are super, ribs, scallion pancakes and dumpings. Yum! Better yet, get some Kiran beer at Shop Rite across the street and sitdown eat.

Huge portions, soup blows, fish was good, service is practically nonexistent. We are sitting and waiting for a waitress most of the time, and the sauces are in the bags touch of fast food

In terms of cheap greasy Chinese food, Precious Bistro bakes the cake and takes it too. In Bayonne, this is quite easily the best cheap Chinese food and the least disgusting of its competitors.
If you dine-​in, the décor and presentation are second to none in Bayonne. Way better dining-​in experience than one would expect and the selection (Hibachi, Sushi, Thai, Chinese, etc) is pretty vast for a place that isn’t too large.
The food is pretty good here as well. I haven’t had the sushi and don’t recommend much but their Chinese options. Moo Shoo Pancakes are done well here and I am very fond of their Sesame Bean Curd. They even a special section for Healthy Entrée; mostly meat dishes with steamed vegetables and rice noodles.
Good location, friendly staff. I can see why everyone else is fond of this place. Delivery is prompt, as well.

This is the best Chinese food place in Bayonne. Their crispy sesame/​orange/​Honey chicken are actually crispy. Also great sauce! Awesome egg rolls, and their lo mein is not greasy, which I really love. I order from this place on the regular, and would not even think twice about switching to a new place. I can’t even order chinese food when I am away on business in another town, because Precious has spoiled me.

I ordered dinner from here yesterday-​and honestly –I have not had worse food in my life. there is food without taste-​and there is food with BAD taste-​this was very much the latter. I don’t know how they put the dish together-​without any sort of seasoning, spice etc. Even fried rice-​which is the most difficult to mess up tasted so bad-​that once my stomach was not growling anymore-​I decided my tongue could no longer take it-​and dumped everything down the garbage. Absolutely NOT NOT NOT recommended. Boil rice instead and have it with salt. it’ll taste better

Great food and staff was nice. It’s a close call between eat rice fried rice and theirs so I’ll update this review after I give it a second try. Definitely a staple spot for food here in Bayonne

Now we all know good chinese food come from Ghetto chinese food stores… the clean ones just don’t cut it with the taste. Finally an exception to the rule!

The owner is also owns Eat Rice so if you like their food, you know that you are going to like this better.

Great Asian fusion place. I’ve never been disappointed by anything I’ve ordered here. The hibachi cuisine is great. Very nice interior and it looks very modern and clean. Always nice food presentation when dining in. I prefer this place over Eat Rice.
