I would love to give this place 5 stars. The food was pretty good, the atmosphere was nice, the price is right. But the service… Granted we stopped in during peak times of Sunday brunch. We arrived at 11:20, were seated, and then ask to move to a different table. Not a big deal. We had a different waiter, and we placed our order with them. FIFTY minutes later, our food arrives. The people who we switched tables with had long before received their food and we’re just finishing when we got ours. During this 50 minute period, our waiter only stopped by once to check in us(around 35 minutes after we ordered). Did not offer to refill our water, or bring us anything while we waited. He blamed the kitchen. None of the other staff seemed to notice or care that we were sitting there for a very long time with nothing but water. With that being said, I would visit again, and can hopefully update this review :)

The hubby and I ate here for the first time a few weekends ago on a Sunday morning. There was a little bit of a wait and we almost went somewhere else, but I’m so glad we stuck it out! The food was delicious but nothing compared to the exemplary service we received from a very cute and charismatic red headed girl. I think her name was Kaitlyn, we’ll be back to see her for sure! And to try some of the lunch specials.

What restaurant in Bay City does not serve alcohol? This one. The menu was boring so ordered the lunch special. It was chicken«Oscar» with crab, hollandaise and asparagus. However is was crab with a «k», the fake stuff. No way this is 5 or 4 stars.

Thrilled to see this place open up in my home town. Came back and gave it a shot. New neighborhood in uptown. Great décor. Minimalist. Modern. Had Ruben sandwich and delicious fries. Husband had French toast. Fresh and I mean fresh squeezed oj. Really reasonably priced. View of the river. Open breakfast and lunch. While bill was $ 23. Professional service. Can’t say enough. This place would do well in NY. Or Santa Monica and it’s right here in bay city! The menu is awesome. Easy to understand. Everything about this place is fabulous and well done.

Celebrated my nephews birthday for brunch. I had the omelette with veggies. I asked for extra cheese but it did not seem like they put extra cheese in it. The omelette was huge but I wish I could say it was very good. I did not like it at all. Too much egg and not enough veggies and cheese. The hash browns were extremely greasy. I’m not impressed with this restaurant. I have been here before and the food was just so so, nothing spectacular. The waitress was a little slow in taking our orders. Some of us had to tell her two or three times what we wanted. I won’t dine their again as I have given them at least four or more times visiting their restaurant. Each time ordering something different.

They have very good food and you really can’t beat the prices! The owner is a great guy and the staff all seem to do a fabulous job. I’ve only been there a couple of times .I really enjoyed the power bowl thingy. All the people I come across rave about this place and I look forward to trying more.

We come here every time we have visitors in town to show off such a cute, awesome, delicious place with a great view! The staff is friendly, and we’ve always had a great waiter. Sunday breakfast special is a lobster and Brie omelet. My husband has gotten it several times and it’s always delicious. Their pancakes are very good, especially with their blueberry sauce. Bacon = Delicious. Today I had their harvest benny– eggs Benedict with spinach, tomato, mushroom and feta! So delicious. I sub hash browns for English muffins to reduce the gluten intake– and its stellar! We always have a great experience here, definitely give it a try when you’re in town.

This was our first time trying this place, and we loved it! We went for brunch and were pleasantly surprised by the reasonable prices, but delicious menu items. I went with the lobster brie omelet and my boyfriend got eggs, hash browns, and pancakes. We both really liked our meals, and the coffee is great. There was also a lot of good sandwiches and salad options that we’ll have to try next time. Overall, a very nice spot for breakfast in Bay City. We’ll definitely be back!

Being from Miami I had to try the Cuban. Even though the bread was good, I’m just used to the Cuban bread so wasn’t really an authentic Cuban but was tasty and filling. Season your pork in mojo seasoning. They sell it at Kroger in the«Mexican» aisle.

I love this place for breakfast. I don’t live in Bay City, so when I get to come here, it’s a real treat. The restaurant is in a newer building and had a modern appeal, and has a view of the river. They are open during breakfast and late lunch. They have an extensive Omelet menu with a wide variety of options with fresh veggies. There’s also sweet potato pancakes and banana bread french toast. I’ve had the Californian omelet and the Mexican omelet here and both are very satisfying, enough for 2 people. The vegetables and avocado are fresh and the flavors delicious. They grind the coffee fresh here and it’s some of the best diner coffee I’ve had, very smooth. They also had a musician playing fine piano music live on Sunday morning, which makes the atmosphere feel elegant and with the sunshine shining thru the windows, it was magical.

I got takeout and it was pretty on point with what you get at the Stock Pot.(Same owners) The one thing I will never understand is why restaurants don’t make their own hollandaise. You can’t be an upscale breakfast place with crappy hollandaise and it’s SO easy to make. Eggs were cooked great, yummy stock pot sausage links etc. Just do yourself a favor and set yourself apart. Make an amazing hollandaise!!!

Decent breakfast spot. Will have to come back to try for lunch and dinner. I came with a group of 6 adults and a baby and the service was a bit slow, but that’s ok. Everyone has something different. I had the Mexican omelette with egg whites and toast, and it was a good sized omelette with thick wheat bread toast. My boyfriend had the traditional breakfast with has Browns and toast and he definitely was not happy. The turkey sausage was gross and hash browns were not seasoned. No ketchup anywhere. The Eggs Benedict looked tasty and my MIL had the special of the day, a lobster omelette. She said it was ‘good, but very rich.’ Well, that’s not too unusual. Overall I would come back to try the other food, but as far as breakfast goes it was on par with a Bob Evans.

They have wonderful fresh dishes and the food always tastes amazing. Unfortunately I’m giving it 3 instead of 4 stars because 2 out of 3 times that I’ve ordered the Eggs Benny my eggs have been overcooked.

I came in here after seeing it on Unilocal(I have never visited Bay City). The location is in a great area. Right on the river, new construction popping up everywhere. Andrew was my waiter. He was amazing. Very attentive, helpful with the menu and a very nice. He suggested a few menu items and I went with one. I selected the turkey Ruben. DELICIOUS. I will definitely be back on my next visit! Hopefully I’m in Andrew’s table!

The live piano player is a nice touch. The building is very classy on the inside. I ordered coffee and a small tomato juice. What’s that? You’re out of tomato juice? Okay, what other juices do you have? Oh, only orange? Is if fresh squeezed? No? Huh. My juice was brought to the table with a white foreign substance on one side of the glass. I ordered the apple walnut pancakes and a side of ham. The ham was good. My pancakes were cooked either immediately after or right next to onions being cooked. I don’t like onions in my pancakes. My companion had biscuits and gravy with a side of bacon. The biscuits and gravy were pretty good. The bacon not so much.

Good choice for breakfast. I didn’t think anything about the place was outstanding, certainly not our welcome. But — food was very good, and all I really care about around 9am on a Saturday is having my eggs Benedict and enjoying my dish — and I did. So — solid choice for breakfast.

Great little breakfast and lunch spot down by Real Seafood. Pretty clean modern look on the inside, although it is very loud. My wife and I chose to eat outside. I ordered the signature rueben. If a dish is your«signature», it better be spot on. The rueben did not disappoint. My wife had a chicken salad that was equally delicious. Very friendly service as well. Will be coming back.

I have been to Uptown Grill 2 times so far. It is becoming a breakfast favorite! The first time was my birthday and I got an omelet with lobster, brie, and cream cheese. It was delicious to say the least! Amazing! I went with a large group of girls the second time and got the Harvest Benny. I’ve had a lot of places mess up my Hollandaise sauce, but it was really really good. I loved it! I wonder if ya’ll would consider opening for dinner? Bay City needs more places like this!

The food was wonderful — server was great — when we first walked in, it was about three minutes before anyone told us we could be seated wherever we wanted. I could easily overlook that by how awesome our server, Minnie, & the delicious food was. I got the special of the day, a salmon salad. Wonderful! Will be coming back.

Good food, good price, and great service! Will come again soon. I had an omelette with raspberry pancakes that were excellent and my wife had the eggs Benedict which was perfect. Very nice atmosphere and great art work
