I was really not a fan of this place. My daughter wanted to pick out a place to eat, and this is what she came up with. The biscuits are always great, and we ordered the deep fried calamari with vegetables. That is really good. Then we shared a Shrimp Alfredo dish that was also really good. My water glass had some white stuff smeared around the rim, and I had to have it replaced. That was a bummer. I like to think that all my dishes are clean, glasses included. That wasn’t a good start to the meal, but the waiter took care of it all, and overall, it was a good experience. I’ll be back.

Food and service were good, but there were mosquitos all around where I sat. One ended up in my drink and I was swatting them away for my entire visit.

Very happy with the meal and how well we were treated. Waitress was prompt and made sure we had what we needed. Food was good as always. Will be back again

What can I say, it’s a chain restaurant. The menu is the same as any other Red Lobster, as are the prices and quality of food. It was a decent meal and the endless shrimp didn’t disappoint. This place gets pretty busy on weekends, so make a reservation or expect a 20 minute wait for dinner seating. I’ll eat here again, no complaints.

I’ll cut right to the chase. Raw uncooked batter inside of our fried broccoli that was part of the calamari appetizer. Main course had two fried shrimp that were so under fried they were raw. I am very understanding when a restaurant has a bad night but not when it will possibly make me sick. The manager didn’t even stop by after I showed the waitress the undercooked shrimp. Looks like they need a fry cook who follows the proper cooking time. That was my last meal at this Red Lobster location.

I just recently ate at Red Lobster for the first time. I ordered the endless shrimp. The prices are a little steep and that’s why I didn’t give five stars. We waited a very long time for are booth and then our food, but that was okay, it didn’t bother us… The biscuits were everything people said they would be. I liked that the waitress gave us a bag of them to go. The house salad was really good also.

Red Lobster is a solid four stars. Good food quality, as always, and lots of great menu choices. I do have one issue… the cost relative to the amount of food you get. It is actually kind of shameful that I spend $ 28 on an entrée and leave hungry? I don’t come here often, but I noticed a definite decrease in portion size(which I understand… but not when the prices correspondingly increase). Even the Caesar salad was noticeably smaller, and the lobster tail was so tiny it was barely two bites. What I would really like to see is another seafood restaurant open nearby, which would spur competition and(hopefully) drive down the monopoly pricing strategy Red Lobster currently employs.

All Red Lobster’s seem to be the same, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing. You kinda know what to expect when you come here. The food is always good, but the service seems like it can be slow sometimes. Even when there aren’t many people in there. It can be a tad pricy but it’s mainly your only option for seafood in Bay City.

I love Red Lobster. I have yet to have a bad experience at any of the ones I have gone to. The only bad thing I can really say us the place is expensive. The Bay City Red Lobster has great service, and a great«dock tavern» look to the place.

I’ve enjoyed dining at this Red Lobster many times. The people are friendly and the food is fine. I often order the«Walt’s Favorite Shrimp». Their«Bahama Mama» is good too.
