Wenz café serves the medical students of Johns Hopkins. It is a decent little eatery, but mostly for breakfast items and coffee. There are a number of lunch items including sandwiches, quesadillas, more breakfast items, and select pizzas. The quality is just okay. The prices for breakfast and coffee are reasonable but the sandwiches are around six dollars for something very tiny. I eat here regularly out of necessity.

Wenz Café is a small café located on the first floor of the Armstrong Medical Education Building. It has a seating area with multiple tables, booths, and outdoor seating as well. It’s a great place to meet up for lunch or to have a meeting during the middle of the day. The café offers both a grab-and-go section with a variety of salads, sandwiches, and refrigerated snacks as well as some hot items that you can buy. I personally enjoy the quesadillas and turkey burger which are reasonable priced around $ 6 and made to order. Wenz also offers baked goods, teas, and coffee items as well. As a medical student, it has all of your needs in a short amount of time. If you’re around AMEB, it’s a definitely a nice commodity to have.

This little café is located in the Armstrong Medical Education Building at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. They serve perfectly decent coffee, bagels, a variety of sandwiches, and some muffins. They have a few warm things too such as tacos(not the greatest – their cheese is reminiscent of the kind that comes in a can) and flatbread pizzas(haven’t had one so I can’t comment). Most people go there for breakfast or a small lunch. However, if you’re hungry for a little snack, then you HAVE to get one of their apple cinnamon scones, and make sure to ask them to warm it for you! It’s fantastic and delicious. There’s usually only two or so people working behind the counter so it isn’t a very quick place to grab something, especially if there’s any sort of line, but because of its location it’s hard to beat the convenience. There’s also a pretty large surrounding area with tables to sit and study and eat.

The food is terrible if you are getting anything outside of processed food or bagels. As for the quesadilas? They looked nothing like the picture displayed. A simple dish messed up and just terrible. The students really deserve more options, or an improvement.
