Quarterhouse has a lot of potential and I would love to try it again in a few months once they work out the kinks. Pros: — Nice décor and set up — Our server was very attentive and friendly — Poutine: Delicious and perfectly cooked — Burger: Mouth watering, cooked perfectly Mehs: — Beer cheese could have used some more bread and oomph — Filet: Could have used some more seasoning. The potatoes needed garlic and the horseradish butter needed to be served so it would melt. Very hard to spread Cons: — Beers are overpriced

This place is amazing ly good. I don’t even like Brussels sprouts, and they were delicious. You really need to eat here!

Quarterhouse has great drink and food specials, with happy hour until 8pm even on Fridays! This was a nice surprise when we went in for a quick bite to try it out last night. The mussel special was so flavorful and delicious(alagash white broth with bacon, onions, and shallots). I had the scallop dinner special and my boyfriend had the burger, which certainly lived up to the reviews we have heard from friends. We will definitely be back soon!

The Quarterhouse is great. The food is tasty and well prepared. There is a wide selection of beers on tap as well as a whole wall of wine to choose from. They do carry out beer(bring a growler) and wine every day they are open, including Sundays. Great happy hour too! Give them a shot.

Ahhhhhh now for the main course. The grilled Mahi on an herb flavored mashed potato topped with a lobster butter. Wow. To die for. The best piece of fish I ‘be had in a long long time. Kudos to chef Jeremy for such wonderful creations.

Great new spot in Canton. We had the charcuterie to start then I had the veggie curry bowl and my husband had the scallops. Both were delicious! The server was super nice and we were never wondering where she was. The only reason I didn’t do 5 stars is because my in-laws treated so I don’t know the cost. We’ll go back for sure.

Last night, we went to the Quarterhouse for a family dinner. What used to be a divy Steelers bar, is now a clean, classy, well decorated upscale dining place that reflects an enormous amount of hard work. We began with the happy hour menu by ordering red wine and mussels. You can tell a lot about the standards of a restaurant by the glasses in which they serve their wine. Sure enough, when our wine arrived, it was served in beautiful and appropriate red wine glasses. Both my husband and I enjoyed our grilled salmon salads. The salmon was perfectly prepared. The other couple had the filet with mashed potatoes and yummy vegetables. Even though there was not a formal children’ menu, the staff happily prepared kid-sized portions of several items that the youngsters enjoyed. This establishment is a welcome addition to this Canton neighborhood. I really hope they prosper in this venture for years to come.

My friend and I had a great meal! We enjoyed the mussels, eggplant dip(loved the vegetables that came with it), and the Brussel sprouts that had an Asian spin. It was also fun to get a beer flight, and everything was very well priced! Can’t wait to go back and check out more items! I’d recommend everything we ordered! Great new addition to Canton.

When we first moved to this neighborhood, this bar, adjacent to our house, was a great neighborhood spot. Then it changed owners and went downhill from there. When we heard a new place was opening, and after meeting the owner, we were cautiously optimistic. No caution was needed — this place is fantastic! The interior is beautiful, albeit a bit loud, and the staff is welcoming and knowledgeable. I love the draft list, the wine selection, and the menu. It’s small, but complete. So far, between several visits, I’ve had the scallops(the best I’ve ever had, to be honest), the poutine(delicious and filling), the mac and cheese(creamy and yum) and the burger(great taste at a good price). We also got to sample some of the smoked duck, which was also fantastic. The owner made incredible choices in his hiring of the staff, and the staff has helped make incredible choices with the food and drink. It’s also remarkable kid friendly! Really love this new neighborhood spot! Hopefully I won’t end up there once a week, but I“m afraid it might be inevitable.

My friends and I decided to grab dinner at Quarterhouse Tavern last night after a long, hot day in downtown Baltimore. I immediately liked the ambiance: the dining room and bar were refined but didn’t make me feel out of place in casual clothes. They also had the O’s game going on several large TV’s, which made me happy. We started with the eggplant dip, which I only wish I could recreate at home. For mains, my wife ordered the oyster po’ boy and I had the burger and fries. Clearly the chef and cooking staff know their way around gastro pub fare. The fries were very well seasoned and the burger was a savory treat. I got to sample the poutine, mac and cheese, and brussels sprouts as well. All were impressive, but I particularly liked the poutine(it was my first time trying it and I’m sold). The drink list well-organized, going from dark to light beers. I enjoyed a Bell’s Oberon and my local favorite, Union’s Blackwing. Overall, I wish I had a place like the Quarterhouse closer to my home. It had a great atmosphere, terrific service, and the food was on point.
