Sent my dry cleaning there since I the American on mckelvey was so horrible at doing the job properly. This American is supposed to be the main store. Well first let me say I met a man named Mike that said he was the owner. Then five minutes later he was a manager. He didn’t remember who the owners were at first either. Well let’s get down to what the problems were… First. I had son body else’s lint all over my shirts. There were eight of those. I asked for heavy starch on my creases and collars. And for each shirt to be bagged separately, for traveling. Now Mike has the audacity to tell me that it cost extra to get the lint from someone else’s clothes off of my newly pressed shirts? And he acknowledges that there is a lot of lint on my shirts. He then again states that if I want them done properly that I need to pay extra. For their screwup. Then instead of trying to fix the situation he makes a big deal, why do I have to have each shirt wrapped seperate. not even once saying that it was their fault that my dry cleaning was messed up. Only that I needed to pay more for them to fix it. It was already supposed to be fixed since the puss poor job mckelvey store did. Then Denise in customer service told me and I quote“I will make sure that all of the issues are fixed and when you come to pick up the corrected dry cleaning you will receive a gift certificate for the money you spent. Now back to this douche bag Mike. He first off told me I was lying about the conversation that Denise and I had the day before. He refused to fix my shirts without me paying more. Then here’s the kicker, he sat there and tried to intimidate a military officer by punching his fist on the counter. I told him he needs to stay in his own lane because that intimidation doesn’t work on men who have seen war first hand. And he needed to go rethink his choices in life. And having better customer service skills would be a good place for him to begin. Who ever the owner really is it shows through this encounter that the owner isn’t running a customer friendly establishment. To allow lying windbags to run off clients that have been patronizing this cleaners for several decades. Shows that the owner doesn’t run the place. But slovenly sloppy person named Mike trying to intimidate others, has the run of the shop. There are many problems and issues that are going on at this location. And I feel as is we all do not deserve mediocre service followed up by piss poor attitudes. There are some serious issues going on at this location. Who out there can afford to get sick by having someone else’s lint on your clothes. That is considered transference. And in medical terms that transference is how people get sick. That person the lint is from could have any number of diseases, plaque psoriasis, dermatitis. Just to name a few. This should not go unnoticed. They provide a service to clean our wearables. They need to respect and know when they are wrong. This time they are beyond a reasonable doubt. This all could have been avoided with better customer service. And not some Moron named Mike showing that he lacked any professionalism as well as self control.
