Went here summer 2011. If I could give this place negative I would. I am Turkish and this is the worst food I ever tasted. My parents owned the best turkish restaurant in chicago– so i know what good food tastes like. I was about to puke(sorry but it’s true) The mixed grill– the chicken was raw, the shish kebab was un-chewable, the«doner aka gyros» was the frozen kind. The rice was not edible — i think it was microwave rice. The salad was nasty. The only thing I ate was hummus and I had to keep begging for some pita– she would bring 1 – 2. This lady is the worst cook ever, what Turkish woman messes rice up, come on now. I wouldn’t eat her food if she paid me to. Oh I was so glad walking out the door/the first thing I said to my husband was I wouldn’t feed my dog that food. She should really find another job because she sucks at cooking. I can’t believe I actually said nothing to her. And wayyyy over-priced for that garbage. Way to make a pregnant lady literally puke as if she doesnt do that enough. Avoid this place!!! Now we all know why it’s always empty. O btw shes cheap too so don’t expect a/c to be on if it’s 80 outside. Barfffffffff Yuckkkkkkkkkkk

I ordered food from this place the other night. Delivery was so slow took Well over an hour. I live 5 mins away. We ordered 2 gyro platters with rice one chicken and the other with lamb, also a side of falafel and baba ganoush .They made it up to me by delivering Hot and Fresh food. It’s pretty good I enjoyed it. I had to try the falafel because of the 1st reviewer. They were small but they tasted good. Not worth the price tho. Considering everything I would order from them again. I doubt I would Dine in. In the future. Its good for a local spot I wish I would have found this place earlier.

Stopped in around 8pm on a Friday night. This little(mainly take out) restaurant was completely dead. We were the only diners in there. The place was small but cute with about 10 tables. We were surprised by the prices, and expected them to be a little bit cheaper, but they were average, for entrees I guess — $ 11.99 and up. My fiancé ordered a gyro dinner $ 11.95(Gyro meat, rice and salad) I ordered 2 appetizers — Saganaki(cheese with tomato baked) and a medium greek salad. We also had 2 sodas. For dessert we had 1 order of baklava. The total was $ 33.60 The food was good, gyro meat was tasty, and saganaki, well baked cheese is always good. Our only complaints were that the service was pretty slow(we were the only ones in there) and we were served our salads first, way before the rest of the food came out. We were so hungry we ate all the salad so by the time the gyro/rice/pitas came out, our salads were long gone. Im sure this place is great for take out, or for sandwiches. Worth a try if your in the area but based on the previous review, I am thankful I did not order the falafel. Im very picky when it comes to falafel and I tend to not like most. Oh and I don’t think the owners/staff are Greek, I believe they are Turkish.
