Great venue we bring the whole family at least once a month, its great to have such a nice facility do close to home. Staff is great but it would be nice to have a few more food options, keep it up we love you !

We had such a great time there tonight. It is very clean and you don’t feel like you’ve been hit by a dirt clot when you get home. The track is easy to view from every section and the crowd is growing more and more every time. The racers share pics and sign flags for the kids and are happy when lil fans come into the pits after all the races are finished. We forgot our sweatshirts and ear muffs for ear protection/comfort for my grandson but they sell them there without long lines. Support Bakersfield’s Best Race Track and take the whole family.

Best time I’ve had in a while! Great crowd, no thugs, all good red blooded Americans of all decent. Food was good too. Good prices, $ 40 for the family to get in, hot dogs were good too, $ 4, beer $ 6, ice cream bars $ 3. Kids had a great time. Highly recommended for the America we all miss.

I don’t exactly have a lot of Raceway experience. Unfortunately, I had never been to Mesa Marin Raceway(RIP), so I don’t have much to compare. Which makes it easy for me to say: This is the BEST Raceway I’ve ever been to! Here’s a few quick pro’s & con’s: Pro’s: *Location: convenient off the I-5, perfect for those that are traveling from our of town. *Large parking: there’s a ton of parking here… a few acres or so. plenty of room to bring the 5th wheel *Brand Spankin’ New Everything! From the track, to the stands, even down to the toilets. Everything is beautifully built and sparkling. *Bathrooms: yeah, this kind of goes with the brand spankin’ new everything point, but it really should be noted that the bathrooms are nice. Stainless steel automatic toilets, with fancy LED super-jet hand dryers. *Stands: they face east, which is absolutely wonderful. No sun in your eyes! Unless its a morning race… and I don’t think those happen. Con’s: *Location: while convenient for most out-of-towners, it still is a bit of a hike for Bakersfieldians. But hopefully with the distance, this track actually stays! *Price: it can get expensive really fast. Not only do you have to buy tickets, but parking is also $ 5. I understand Raceway’s aren’t cheap to build & maintain, but I just feel so jilted when charged extra to park, especially when it’s not Valet. *BYOB: not THAT kind of bottle. If you can get away with bringing in water bottles from the Purse Nazi’s in front, you’ll save yourself a good $ 5. Price gouging is a sport of its own here. Just bring your own treats. Overall, I had a very enjoyable experience. I can’t wait for next year when they get even bigger and better sponsors and more participants!

We went here for the Saturday night races, but the main event was cancelled last minute so they let everyone in for free. I think that is a sign of great service. We sat in the general admission bleachers and I thought the view was great. The far part of the track is raised, so it is easy to see it from basically any position. The side events we saw included Legends, Bandoleros, Minis, and Street Stock. It was fun and the weather was even good in mid-July. Prices seemed reasonable($ 6 for a beer, $ 3.25 for soda).

So I’m not a small track NASCAR fan but I love racing. This place is great! There is not a bad seat in the house, the track is fast and it looks that that turn one and two is very different from turn three and four. The food was good, the racing was good and the fireworks simply topped off the night. I would highly recommend that the speedway somehow lets people on I5 know what time the race starts because we simply saw fans in the stands, we got off the freeway and watched all the racing and fireworks. We spent a good $ 100.00 and this was never planned. I guess you can say this place was an awesome surprise.
