I’ve been to restaurants at this location many times thru the years I’ve lived here so I decided to try this latest one. I didn’t read any reviews but I’ve heard people saying it was good. So I was surprised to see it was a mostly seafood menu, not Mexican as the name sounded to me. We had pork empanadas and the crab cakes for appetizers. Both were really excellent. The fish tacos had tuna and were very good. The fish and chips were standard fare but also very good. I really didn’t care for the raspberry martini. It was a little sour. It could’ve used a little sweetness. Service was very good and there was a nice fireplace adding warmth to the chilly night. Will definitely return perhaps for lunch. Hopefully there will be a chicken entrée on the menu in the future.

Over the weekend we had a large party of 25 +/-people at Tres Palms. The food was great, the drinks were great and most of all the service was great! Joe, our server, was very attentive and accommodating. The atmosphere was fun and scenic. I would go back and bring my friends.

Good food and extremely accommodating with our gluten free and food allergy restrictions. Well done and we will be back.

When we’re in the area Tres Palms is one of our favorite stops for a seafood lunch. On our last visit they offered fresh tuna tacos as their special, and they were terrific. The tuna was fresh and tender and cooked rare. Their chowders are also always very good. Prices are fair for the quality of the food. Plenty of seafood choices, good service, limited but good tap choices, and a nice view of the bay. Worth a visit.

Really a nice place, enjoyable to sit by the water, etc. The food was very good. We ordered a lot of appetizers and drinks plus our food. All of us were very happy and just about all the food was gone, so thats always a nice sign.

This place is fantastic. We sat outside and had the Pulled pork nachos, Tuna tartar, and the CRABCAKES to start with… everything was delicious and fresh but come for the crab cakes. They’re Amazing. We had the fish and chips and Tuna steak for our entrees. Again, everything was perfectly cooked and seasoned. Attentive and friendly service from Devin our server. Very relaxed atmosphere. Prefect Sunday Funday spot!

Great location, great bar and drinks… There should be more menu choices especially for non-fish lovers… Maybe something with chicken. But still a really great place :)

I went there on a Monday night and I sat outside. Great view and atmosphere. We had the buffalo wings to start, there were great. My entrée was seared salmon. It was cooked perfectly.

I have to say there is a lot of bait and switch with this restaurant. I will say the food was great… buttttttttt the brunch menu is deceiving. They said complimentary mimosas and bloodymarys, after a few drinks and we asked for the bill they charged me for every drink and then they said we only offer one, I said to them where does it say that? Their response was because that’s what it is. I spoke with management they said if you don’t like it what you like me to do? Such a shame food was good but I will NEVERNEVERNEVERNEVERNEVER Did I mention NEVER??? Come here again.

Not sure what all the bad reviews are about. We sat outside on a Wednesday evening with Devin as our server. He was pleasant and attentive Drinks were good and $ 8 margarita special Pull pork nachos were amazing Tuna fish taco could have had more cabbage poco de gallo but the house made tortillas were very good Would recommend. Was crowded when we were there as well

If you love feces on a bathroom floor… This is the place for you! Sadly, that was not the worst part of my experience at Tres Palms. I attended a party recently where water, alcoholic beverages, and appetizers did not appear until 45 minutes after sitting down at the table. Now, while we all may love the movie«HOOK» and find the scene where the kids imagine their food into existence adorable and fun, this is real life and people are often hungry. That is often what leads people to restaurants in the first place. Now I understand things happen and restaurants get busy, but this was a party organized months in advance, and with a hefty price attached to it. When we finally received the food, some of it was not cooked and the children’s food came out last. I would also like to mention that the rest of the restaurant was not as busy so this was just flat out embarrassing. We asked them politely several times for more assistance but they really did not care. Then to make matters even more fun, several of us went to use the bathroom and found human feces on the floor. When we brought this to their attention, they said they would clean it up. Well my friends, after an hour, that was still in there and for all I know, it’s probably still in there. When all of this was told to the owner, he offered no apology or understanding, and the people who threw the party had to pay full price. I guess the owner’s Hawaiian shirts cost quite a lot, because he sure loves to pocket all the money he can find. PS sangria’s should never be $ 10 unless they actually have alcohol in them. Good luck to anyone who attends. Make sure to not step in the excrement.

The food is delicious. The service is horrible. Dirty tables for 20 min while a bunch of people waiting to sit down. And that was not the 1st time i have had that experience there.

Where do I begin. I don’t write bad things about places at all, ever… I always have something good to say, even in a bad situation. But this place takes the cake. It was recommended by a friend so I went. Drinks were horrible… I had cucumber drink. For appz we got guacamole with chips and fried calamari. On the scale of 1 to 10 guacamole was about 3. No flavor and bitter. For dinner I got monk fish and I think they left the rest of it in the kitchen. The portion was ridiculous. My fingerling potatoes were not fully cooked. Needless to say we went else where for coffee and dessert. There were no more chances left for them to redeem themselves.

Ate here tonight — one of the worst meals in recent memories. Everything was awful. I can’t believe I ate the fish tacos with raw tuna … This ain’t a sushi bar.

Had a great Mother’s Day dinner here. The staff was very friendly and very attentive despite how busy they were. Initially the view of the bridge was foggy but it cleared and the view was beautiful. The food was great! We had bacon wrapped filet mignon with mashed potatoes and broccoli. The calamari was also very tasty. The winner of it all was the bread and there homemade butter. Will definitely go back!

The food was not good here. I don’t like leaving s negative review but honestly this place was just not what I was banking on. It is decorated really cute and is right on the water which is perfect since there are not many places to go on the water in this area. However, it did not deliver… Positives were that we were seated right away which is good. The tres palmas and raspberry martinis were also the perfect end to my perfect beach day… Mind you… I was starving and wanted good food and honestly I think I would have been better off making the food myself and I can’t cook to save my life. Since we were beasts we ordered 3 apps almost immediately. Baked clams… Lobster nachos… Tuna tartar… We kept a menu thinking we would want to order more food and there was no way we would have ordered anything else after what we consumed… The baked clams were the equivalent of some mush much like stuffing(yes, thanksgiving day stuffing) it was totally gross. Like get some whole body clams and breadcrumbs with some seasoning bc that should not have been served… The tuna tartar was ugh like thee worst. Tuna was like watery and maybe doused in lime juice? Not what I was expecting and it was served with some cheapo tortilla chips… And lastly. What we were looking most forward to were the lobster nachos… Are you kidding me… $ 21 for some cheap chips(same as tartar plate) with cheap shredded cheese melted on it and barely any lobster meat and it was not of good quality either. Honestly. I was so upset bc I felt that none of our food was seasoned and I really thought I would have been better off making it at home. I really wanted to like this place !! Another highlight was the bread and butter they made it was really good … When I told the waiter it was the best thing we ate he was like«oh I won’t tell the chef that» hahaha good job Ace…

We came for Memorial Day and got the Calamari for an appetizer. Not good. Rubbery and the batter was bad too. Sent it back. Hopefully the meal is better. Well I had the tuna steak… AWESOME! mashed potatoes for a side. Great taste, a lot going on with my meal. Highly recommend.

We had an incredible Mothers Day experience here. From the friendly staff to the delicious food(The Lobster Omelette is simply AMAZING), This is a place we’ll come back to time and time again. We booked a reservation through Unilocal. The restaurant never received the reservation. In spite, when we arrived they sat us immediately and apologized for any confusion. Please keep in mind, this is at 11:45am on Mothers Day. They were slammed.
