Went to the marie callendar’s by my school(citrus college) for breakfast around 9am, we were seated right away. I ordered a mimosa along with the biscuits and gravy breakfast with a side of sausage. I enjoyed my breakfast, the biscuits were on point and the mimosa was excellent. The hash browns weren’t great, in pretty sure they were frozen but i can forgive this because the rest of the breakfast was pretty good. My friend ordered the bacon quiche, she thought it was a bit oily compared to the last quiche she had at a different marie callendar’s. The service was excellent and the server was very nice. The bill came out to $ 28 for two people before tip, which is definitely fair. Overall i enjoyed my breakfast, it was much better than the breakfast i had at flappy jack’s earlier in the week. I will be back.

A slice of banana cream pie with watery meringue on top!!! If I wanted banana cream pie I would have ordered that !! Smh !!

I went for breakfast — eggs over medium and sourdough toast and ice tea just the way I like them. Delicious berry jam — tasted home canned. Waitress was excellent.

Awesome service, good food(for what it is), and an awesome happy hour! I brought my Godmom per her request after only coming to pick up pie orders and I have to say I did enjoy myself. The food was on time, still hot, and pretty good. I believe the happy hour was at 3, BOGO drinks. They have a nice selection of drinks, I got the Blue Hawaiian, it was shockingly not too sweet. Thumbs up Marie Callender’s.

The service was great, the food was amazing and resonable too. Everyone worked as a team to make the dining experience an A plus, the manager, busboy, our server Tara made us feel welcomed. I will definitely be coming back here very soon.

Yummy pies! That’s the only thing I buy here. The food is comparable to other chain restaurants, so why not just buy that stuff local? I can’t think of too many pie or cake places in the general area, so this is a stellar option. Chocolate and apple pies are a family favorite. I usually stop by once or twice a year, more often during the holidays and service has been real nice these last couple times. Well done!

What can I say? Marie’s never fails us. We come in a few times a week and always experience great service at the bar with affordable prices. Best unbeatable happy hour around. Really have to appreciate the two for one experience.

Just ran in for a pie, I guess they don’t have blueberry supreme cheese pie any more, because when I described what I wanted the girl said Blueberry double cream. I said I guess thats what they call it. The crust was a bit thick. Not what I wanted, but good regardless.

Horrible service, food is so so, but most of all horrible service! Came here with family and I can’t believe how rude our waiter was! He seemed to not give two shits about us, never came back to see if we needed anything else!

Pies are ALL $ 7.99 right now :) TRY them ALL To be honest with you if the pies were not on sale i would not have came in to have dinner here but to my surprise the food and service was not bad at all. Walking in the place it is very well kept and looks updated. They have a full bar which was busy that night, we sat in the dinning area and it was nice and peaceful. Our waitress was super nice and friendly, the food was decent and was brought to our table fast, not a wait at all. This location is located in a plaza so there is plenty of parking.

I once had a bad experience here but the happy hour brings me back plus there food specials too. Great bartenders but sometimes you can wait awhile before you are served. Obviously try to get the bar seats. Free popcorn Also a great time here.

0 stars! NOSERVICEHEREWHATSOEVER! The only person that greeted me was the guy in the front at the hostess station — told him I just want to sit at the bar area and grab a quick breakfast and he said that’s fine. I sat for 10 minutes and no one came to ask what I want let alone acknowledge the fact that I was even there and the place was not busy at all. Heavy set waitress was too busy serving a big group on my side that was finishing up and I even made eye contact with her and NOTHING! She was too busy worried about her break that was coming up. Stood up and left after 10 minutes of nothing. Then these stupid people wonder why they don’t make enough in tips — BECAUSEYOUSUCKATYOURJOB!

What a Disappointment! Came in for dinner with my family and the quality is just poor… Unbelievably POOR… So sad. This location in particular is NOT the quality you would expect from growing and knowing Marie Calenders. With all the money spent to renovate this place, they should have spent money improving their meals. I ordered the pot roast marinated in red wine and when it came out, the plate looked like dog food. I was a bit hesitant to even try it. But I thought it couldn’t hurt. I’ve never tried dog food but this pot roast could be the finest Dog food ever created for a canine. I forced myself to get over the taste but I took one last taste of it and I just had to spit it out. It was GROSS! I love making my wife life at my expense but this time… I didn’t have to try. I was literally suffering through this meal. My wife ordered the salmon and boy did it looked great on pictures. She requested the salmon to be cooked well done. The fish came out not even charred. It was lukewarm and it had a weird taste like it has been freezer burned. I have to agree with the other posts of choosing McDonalds over this Marie Calenders. Don’t waste your time, money or your taste buds. We won’t be coming to this Marie Callender’s that’s for sure!

I just hosted a very special event at Marie Calendars on Alosta Ave in Azusa. I trusted the staff in making everything perfect and they rose to the occasion. They provided a beautifully decorated private room staffed with seasoned professionals. In addition to the special attention we were given, a fabulous brunch was provided with the delicious comfort food that Marie Calendars is famous for. It is because of Dave McDonough and his well trained staff at Marie Calendars that my event went off without a hitch. Thank you Dave and all involved for making a most special day even more special. Sincerely, Terri

My very first time at Marie Callenders! You know, it’s not too bad. It’s pretty decent and affordable. The crowd is def a whole lot older here, even at the bar area which happens to have a happy hour. The service is attentive(at first) and kind too. I ordered their chicken pot pie which was tasty and flaky but it lacked a bit of flavor. I had to add a lot of pepper to it but no biggie. My pie was soooo good though. The peach pie was so perfect that I could have eaten a whole pie of it for dinner on my own! The reason why I deducted some stars was because I believe our waiter went on break and no one bothered to come around after that. We sat there for a while waiting for someone to come by so we could get the check but no one came. We asked a few people actually and that’s when we figure our main waiter must have gone on break and the person covering for him was doing a poor job doing so. Over all, good food, good price, semi good service. Would come back for more pie!

Came here for breakfast this morning! I don’t understand why this place has so many bad reviews? Maybe I came on a perfect day. This restaurant has a homey-feeling to it and I felt very comfy in there! Everything on the breakfast menu is $ 5.99. I ordered a waffle with a side of fruit. My mom ordered the Spanish omelette with 2 buttermilk pancakes. Everything was delicious! My waffle was very crunchy on the outside and when I bit it, it was very moist and soft on the inside. I loved it! Unlike other places, their fruit was sweet and just right! Come here during breakfast, you will really enjoy your time.

From everything I observed on my visit, nothing warranted a 1-star review. I understand being disappointed with the décor, but not to the point if taking all stars away. My experience here was only with the pie to go counter service. I was greeted within 30 seconds of arriving at the pie counter. The guy was pleasant, but not friendly(make any sense?). The selection of pies was extremely limited. I got a fresh strawberry and lemon meringue. I will be eternally disappointed that Marie Callender’s for discontinuing their Boston Cream Pie. That was beyond delicious. The bar was jam packed, especially for a Wednesday evening. Obviously that crowd hadn’t heard that this location(before my review) only had 1 star on Unilocal. It did feel a little sterile-hospitalish with the severe minimalist absence of any décor. That made me feel like I was in a hospital cafeteria rather than in a pie shop. I can’t wait to get home and dig into my pies! If by some crazy chance they disappoint, I will change my review to reflect my, uh whats the word? Oh yes– disappointment.
