Tobaccoville & Vapor

We started shopping here in 2013. There was a guy that worked there who was very helpful. We had to start going someplace else because of the attitude from a different person though. We were always waiting for products to come in also (austin eliquid).
Tried to give the business another shot recently but was greeted with attitude from a different person. I am not anticipating another visit soon.

This place is a joke! The typical «tobbacco outlet» turned «vape shop». Not only are the prices and selection a joke, the staff is rude as can be. I’d go buy a Marlboro at the Express food mart across the street and I haven’t smoked in 2yrs.

Jack was super friendly and knew exactly why I was there without having to ask. I’ve been going to Tobaccoville solely for over 5 years now. Last January I switched from cigs to only vaping. There’s a new manager there now. I went in Tuesday a week ago because I was getting low on Austin eCig earthy tobacco flavor. The store was out but the manager told me he was in the process of ordering more as we spoke and it should be there in a couple of days. Went back Thurs. None in store, none ordered. He said he would order that day. Returned last Tuesday — I was completely out and it seems like earthy tobacco would be a popular flavor. He again had not ordered any! He seemed defensive and arrogant. Offered other favors like caramel and grape? Wasn’t interested. I hate caramel. I’m a nicotine junkie and I gave him 3 requests about what I wanted which was just what the store normally carries. He just didn’t seem motivated enough to care. I care. I need it and will have to go elsewhere though I was very loyal to Jack. I can’t get it at your store. Your manager is sitting on his butt chatting with other people.

Nice guy behind the counter but got burned hard on the price! Retail from the manufacturer is like 50% of what he robbed me for. Makes me sad and disappointed. Lesson learned for trying to support a local business…

Tobaccoville is an awesome neighborhood tobacco shop! I had recently written an unsavory review about how I had a poor experience trying to redeem a coupon with them for a product that they carry. The catch is that it was not a manufacturer’s coupon. THEY DO take coupons and as it turns out they have made me a very happy Tobaccoville customer! In fact, they started handing out coupons with each purchase of the very product that I buy from them. Hooray! Thank you Tobaccoville! I recant my precious comments and am once again a loyal patron. Thank You! :)

I’ve been shopping at this store since ’06 and it’s always offered better-​than-​most deals on smokes, et. al., and with friendly personal service. I mean, how many places give you that, eh? Big recommend.

I started shopping here because they have the best price on America Spirits. However, I have been wanting to quit smoking (again!) for quite some time so I was excited to see they were also selling electronic cigarettes. I spoke to the proprietor Joe about them who informed me their brand is made here in Austin! Yay! I finally purchased a kit last weekend (very reasonably priced) and could not be more pleased with my purchase. Also, Joe is very nice and helpful.

I do not smoke, but I get cigarettes for a friend who is blind. The owner is Jack and he gives excellent (five star) service. My friend can call him for her NON-​filter request and he will order it or set it aside for a day or so, if the brand is in stock. Jack is always helpful and eager to serve the needs of his customers.

I quit smoking a few years ago and unfortunately, resumed the habit recently. Consequently, I hadn’t been to Tobaccoville in several years. The owner still remembered me and my brand of smokes. Best place to get American Spirits for cheap. If you’re a smoker, dis da place.

This is the best place to get smokes. I don’t want to pay higher prices for ambiance and marketing… I want the lowest prices for quality goods. The owner is awesome, and I always feel welcome. Support this local business and save a few bucks, too!
