Stone Oak Property Management

I chose to delete this original post. I made a mistake in missing what the bylaws were about. Other issues that never were attributed to Stone Oak were finally addressed but have no bearing on the rating here.
Manu has done a good job in going above and beyond using mediation skills and handling a rather tough situation between our board of directors and residents who have been paying for services through HOA fees yet not getting them for several years.
I revised my rating from a 2 to a 5 due to my mistake regarding a point I missed in the HOA bylaws. I have no problem admitting when I am mistaken or wrong. Thanks Manu for pointing things out.
I do have problems with HOA board members saying one thing, doing another, and not being forthright and honest about how things have gone down and not assuming responsibility. That doesn’t have anything to do with Stone Oak Property Management at all.

This business is beyond ridiculous. I recently applied to rent a property managed by them. I was told my application would not be welcome as they «don’t rent to lawyers». I am, in fact, a lawyer for a local non-​profit. Professions are not considered protected sub groups, so this discrimination is completely legal. It’s also one of the most unethical things I have ever seen, and I do divorce law!

These guys have been managing three units for us and do an amazing job. Manu is very professional, competent, honest, patient and incredibly knowledgeable. We rely on him heavily for our real estate needs and he has never let us down. Jennifer is very prompt and always available to answer questions. We get a monthly and year end report to keep track of everything. I recommend this company highly!
