This place is horrible, just horrible. This place is a total scam and the couple that run it are completely unethical to say the least. Deceit and incompetence are what they offer, and I had the same experience as the other two reviewers. I know many automotive places are borderline dishonest, but the owners are just plain liars. Stay away at all costs. make sure you read the filtered reviews to get more examples of this place’s conduct. be sure to check out the two fake reviews that the owner wrote himself!

Do NOT under any circumstances take your car to Stingray Automotive for anything. Took my 1984 Fiat(Pininfarina) Spider for the inspection sticker and was told there was a brake problem with possible master cylinder leak and the mech showed me a spot of old dried fluid. But this same company(different mechanic) said last yr my 2 yr old Hyundai that had just had 15000 mile scheduled maintenance had«burnt automatic steering fluid which needed replacing». But as the Fiat is old and I haven’t had the brakes checked for several yrs I agreed to bring it back next morning for brake bleed and check for $ 60. He said they open at 8am Saturdays. Arrived with my return home ride at 8:20 am. Place was locked up and closed. Waited until 8:42 and left as my ride had to get to work. Drove home and called at 9:20 and the mech answered and I told him I’d send my wife over next week to get the inspection sticker as I going to be out of town and didn’t think there was anything wrong with the brakes. He said the car failed and I’d have to bring it back for the work. I reminded him I’d already been there this morning and waited twenty some minutes so why would I bring it back to him. He hung up. I’m out $ 15 for the«failed» inspection and consider myself lucky. Took the car to Pro Automotive on Rte 620. They inspected the car said all was OK and put on the sticker. AGAIN, avoid Stingray Automotive!!!
