My «wedding cake» tasted like piña colada. And the girl gipped me out of the syrup. Half of it was just plain ice. Cream is good though. And had to leave the line to go to an ATM because they only accept cash. Not worth $ 8.

The snow-cones were great but the line was not! Plenty of flavors and reasonably priced.

Step right up people. Best sno-cone in Austin. Several of these trailers about town and they are serving up something special. The key is the ice; it is thinly shaved slices of ice not little ice pellets. Pick two flavors and they go half and half. They pack tons of extra sno-cone over the brim of the cup so a medium is more than enough for 1 person. Flavor toppings are generous but you can ask for half-syrup if you think it’s too heavy. Additionally you can top with cream, ice cream, or caramel for $.50 but that’s nasty, people. Cash only. Umbrellas in a trash can for your use if its super sunny or rainy. Tips are encouraged. Wide range of flavors. There is a small collection of sugar free flavors. There is also a collection of flavors that neither you nor the employees can describe(Tiger’s Blood, Silver Fox, Rainbow, Hill Country Berry, and Fuzzy Navel). It’s a must visit.

Sooooooo goooooooodddd! The ice is incredibly soft and the flavor is yummy as all get out. They do not use high fructose corn syrup, huge plus. I got Hill Country Berry and the boyfriend got Coffee with ice cream. Yum!

If you happen to be in the Beach area and like ice cream, make sure to walk into Sno-Beach Hawaiian Shaved Ice. His ice cream is absolutely delicious. It is not the cheapest kind around, but it is definitely worth it. It is not a restaurant, just an ice cream shop. Be aware on hot days. The line up is usually out the door of this little store.
I had high hopes for Sno-Beach because of all the great reviews. The shaved ice was not very smooth like Hawaiian ice should be… Instead the shaved ice was icy and crunchy. If the shaved ice was smoother I would have loved this place because the flavors were great. I had tigers blood, pina coloada, and horchata. Each flavor well balanced. Unfortunately, this place did not stay true to Hawaiian shaved ice.

Had Sno-Beach after a long day at Zilker and was glad I waited in the long line! It went relatively quickly, snowballs were awesome and we’ll be back again. I had cherry and sour apple. Was super impressed with the young lady’s ability to take my 6 snowball order and make everything right the first time, from memory. There were lots of split flavors to remember!

Convenient location & lots of parking for this shaved ice truck! Came here a total of 3 times though the first time was the definitely BEST. During my first visit, the shaved ice was perfect, just like the ones in Hawaii! The ice was fluffy and soft, the texture just right. Flavours meshed well together & the icecream(a must add) topped off this delicious dessert. However, during my second & third visit, the consistency of the ice just turned the wrong way. The ice was crunchy & hard just like a snow cone — something i disliked eating growing up as a kid. Although I did see the ladies in the truck make the shaved ice fresh, it really did taste like the ice was crushed far in advance. And the ice was unable to hold the flavours… definitely a disappointment. Hoping the ice texture can be improved since I really love Hawaiian shaved ice and this place is nearby. Flavours during my first visit: Tiger Blood & Cantaloupe

This is one of my favorite snow cone stands in Austin(okay well maybe one out of the few I’ve been too) but I love the location and quality of the snow cones. This location is open until 9 pm most nights which is great for me. I usually like grabbing a snow cone after dinner so I appreciate that they are open a bit later than most. The quality of the syrup tastes much higher than other snow cone places I’ve been too. 4 stars is due to the price. My boyfriend and I paid almost 9 dollars for two cups of ice and syrup the other night here. When all you’re really eating is ice it hurts a little to pay that much . However, if your trying to choose a place go for snow cones go to this one ! Things to note : They have tons of seats Bring cash They sometimes close a little before 9pm so don’t come at 8:55pm . Otherwise enjoy !

Perfect ending to a day of travel and errands. Service was nice and quick. I was glad I was able to try a sample and given suggestions of good combos. I ended up w/wild cherry, sangria and tigers blood. It was delicious and the fastest way to cool down with the hot weather. I will be back!

Soft ice and really nice service. The only bummer is that it’s cash only!!! But other than that, I love this place!

YUM. Love this sno-beach location because of the following: 1) Parking is usually easy to find in the back. BUTWATCHOUTFORPOTHOLES in the parking lot. THEREARE A TON. 2) There is more seating than the Guadalupe location– and umbrellas so you can sit in the shade. Service & friendliness is really hit or miss. Tip: –Get cream topping if you want a less fatty version of ice cream. –You can get 2 flavors if you want half & half. — Throw your cup & napkin away as soon as you’re done or else you’ll attract the bees.

Best. Shaved. Ice. In. Austin. This place is ridiculously delicious! The ice melts in your mouth like butter! Yum! The staff is so friendly. You will be waiting in line and the benches/tables will be hot but it is worth it! They provide umbrellas for when you wait in line.

This place is a classic Austin establishment serving up super fine shaved ice, good flavored and great toppings like cream and caramel. I think cream is a must. Minus one star for BEES! Ahhhhh! BEESEVERYWHERE!!!

I’ll venture to say that this is one of the most iconic snow cone trailers in Austin. There’s just something about that giant snow cone statue looking out over Barton Spring Rd wearing his sunglasses on a hot day as if he knows that he’s your icy savior. Let me tell you, on a 105 degree summer day in Texas, that giant purple snowcone statue is your savior. Lines can be a bit long but it’s in part because of the great location. They take a bit of time to make these delicious frozen heavenly cups of wonderfulness, the girls can only pour so fast. ALSO, they claim that their syrups don’t contain any corn syrup! Woooo! oh P. S. It’s cash only!

If you’re looking for a refreshing ice beverage, Sno-Beach is the go to in Austin. Tons of flavors and add ons! You could add cream… ice cream… or both to your favorite flavored ice!

My nieces were in town for the weekend and we just had some Polvos and was in need of dessert! Sno Cones it was. I have always love this style of sno cone. It’s a fine shaved ice that they do, not little balls of ice. It’s so perfect. They are food truck. They have 2 ordering windows and the girls there get people served quickly. There was a. 5 order on one side and then about 4 orders in front of us when we got there and the wait was just about 10 minutes or so. Not bad for a cool cloudy day. We sat at one of the picnic table and they had the umbrellas up so it was great. The lines build up quickly but they do clear out quickly also. I have a sno cone place that’s closer to me, I wonder if it’s the same people. This location is a bit further for me but if I’m in the area, I will hit it up! Oh yea, they do have parking in the back so that makes it WAY more convenient. It’s an old old parking lot though so lots of potholes. Drive slow. :) Also, they are cash only. Be prepared.

Stopped by this truck mid day and it was very refreshing. My girlfriend had sour apple and pink lemonade which was pretty good, I had the horchata with cream and it was amazing.

Even though this is right by my office, I have not been… but we did check it out this weekend, it is very popular! Even on a dreary Saturday afternoon, we had about 15 people in front of us. The line moved fast enough but it takes time to lovingly hand shave and mold the ices. It is also cash only, but the small which is certainly big enough to quench your sno cone craving is $ 2.50 base, so me who hardly carries cash can even swing that. They say that this is on par with shaved ice you can get from Hawaii, so I actually was fortunate enough to be able to visit Hawaii a few years back and sample their shaved ice… and it is pretty close! It was a cooler day here so the sno did not melt as fast but the choices are a bit overwhelming. You can do a two flavor combo and then do a cream floater, or even have ice cream as an added topping for just 0.50 cents extra. I went with a weird combo of almond and cinnamon with a cream floater which I mostly liked but would try something more fruity next time. My mom got a passion fruit and pomegranate that she liked. The tigers blood was a favorite, along with the piña colada. Just be careful, there are tons of bees hanging around the benches waiting for some sugary leftovers.

SOO many flavors to choose from & not too syrupy! You actually taste the flavors with the nice smooth shaved ice. I imagine this is as close to actual shaved ice from Hawaii as possible in the area. Their small was a generous amount that I more then happily shared with a friend. I unfortunately did not read reviews beforehand but most people recommend adding cream. Give it a try, cash only & I believe the small was less then $ 3.

We happened to run into this place and the long at 3:30 on a Friday looked pretty long, and felt even longer standing in the sun for over 30 minutes to get a snow cone. I’m not a fan of the syrup drinks that are extra sugary and don’t taste like real fruit, but I went with horchata and added cream and it was definitely the best snow cone I’ve ever had. Not too sugary! We got small size cups and they were plenty big. We were advised that adding cream makes each snow cone better.

I can’t believe I went to UT and NEVER had Sno-Beach… Ok, in my defense, I attempted a few times, but super unlucky as they were always closed =(However, this trip to ATX was a success and no lines! The flavor selection is completely overwhelming, but they are nice and let you sample the flavors if you ask! This go around, we got a Medium Tiger’s blood+Kiwi+Watermelon combo, which was great and large enough for two or even three. I was a bit hesitant about Tiger’s Blood but apparently it is a play on Charlie Sheen’s favorite quotes. It is hard to describe but it is a mix of Hawaiian punch and coconut? Regardless, mixed well with Kiwi and Watermelon, to coat the ice, which was super soft and not super chunky or super sweet. Another top seller is Wedding Cake, will have to give that a try next time and splurge on the cream!

Loved this place! I got wedding cake and coconut and the two flavors together was just heaven! Can’t find these kind of places near where I’m from, so it was a real treat when visiting Austin.
