We arrived for lunch at 1:45pm so they weren’t very crowded. The only positive experience was that our server was awesome! He was very apologetic for the 45 minute wait for our appetizer. He kept checking on us and finally got the manager after we’d been there for an hour before our totally burnt pizzas arrived. We wouldn’t even eat it since it was covered in soot. We just asked for the check so we could go somewhere else. The manager apologized and said they’d be no charge. We slipped our waiter $ 20 since he was having a really bad shift. I should have taken a photo of our nasty food, but I took a photo of the condition of my booth instead. The photo says it all…

Service was very good. The food, not so much. I had the calamari & it was so overcooked I literally couldn’t spear it with my fork. It was like trying to eat chewing gum. My husband had the minestrone soup. We make & eat a cabbage soup loaded with vegetables when we need to lose a few pounds. It tasted like our diet cabbage soup. He said at first there were no beans in it, but when he got to the bottom of the bowl he did find one bean. Too much money for very disappointing food. We won’t eat here again.

Always a great dining experience at this Carrabba’s. Today I sat at the bar with Helene the bar keep who is excellent at what she does. The nba playoffs were on so that added a nice touch. The only reason this is not 5 stars is my food came out lukewarm and I had to request it be warmed. It’s not busy at all so I’m a little confused at how that happened. It came back at the perfect temp and extremely delicious. I tried the new cav-something Franco. lol! A sauce-less pasta dish popping with much flavor. Chicken, sun-dried tomatoes, olives, mushrooms, oil, and a fancy cheese sprinkled on top. lol! Of course I paired it with the classic red sangria. Last trip at this location as I am moving at the end of the week. Many great meals and memories here over the past 3.5 yrs. thanks Carrabba’s Augusta!

We decided to return to this location after several years away because of a birthday gift certificate from our son, Carrabba’s being one of his favorite restaurants. Unfortunately, the service was terrible and the location STILL appears to be poorly managed. Although there were many tables available, the wait was still long, apparently due to understaffing. And it took 4 different servers and 10 minutes wait just to get my wife a bottle of sparkling water. Overall, the pace of service was extremely slow. In addition, there is a blind corner going into a service area where there is the potential for human collisions. We saw one where a tray of glassware nearly ended up on the floor and others where servers nearly collided with patrons, since this blind corner is directly on a patron’s path to the restrooms. Some of the servers called out«Corner!» as they came around, but others didn’t and some didn’t say it until they were already rounding the corner. Really bad experience, service-wise, and one that I don’t relish repeating even though the food was VERY good.

My experience in the past has usually been great. Tonight I ordered the Prosciutto-Wrapped Shrimp and spinach. Unfortunately the entire meal was overwhelming salty. I chose not to complain or return my meal because of the, rather large party I was with. I will visit again in hopes of a better expierence. The service was exceptional and cocktail(Chianti Kiss) wonderful.

Well this has always been one of my favorite restaurants. My wife and I tried curbside carryout for the first time and while the service was great it did have its interesting moments. For example the staff outside smoking weed was pretty comical. But on a brighter note it made the time go by. Come on guys atleast walk 20 feet away from customers…

Always a pleasure, every time. We’ve come here several times and it’s always amazing. The wait staff truly earn their keep and the kitchen staff are always on their game. The food is nothing short of spectacular. You can always tell when a restaurant has good management that keeps a place running smoothly and this place runs like clockwork. A few tips, after 8p the crowd tends to die down… and call ahead for reservations. This place is always crowded but it’s obvious why.

Cannot say enough about the takeout folks!(Inside as well.) Always professional, courteous, and very knowledgeable about menu intricacies. This location is well worth your time and money!

My fiancé and I went there for a date night. Food was wonderful but we had a very awkward and semi-rude waitress. First, she commented on my order choice. I ordered a small pizza and a sweet tea because I wasn’t super hungry. When I gave her my order she said«Pizza? We have a lot of other delicious things on the menu other than pizza…» I just smiled and didn’t say anything. Then, when our food came she asked if I wanted any extra cheese grated on my pizza. I told her yes, and she told me to tell her when to stop. I only wanted a small bit so I told her to stop pretty quickly. When I told her to stop she gave me a nasty look and said«You didn’t let me finish covering the pizza…» Uhm, like what the heck? First of all, if I say stop, stop and don’t make any comments about it. It’s not your job to in the first place. Secondly, DONOT comment on what I’m ordering. Unless you’d like to pay for the meal and receive no tip. Someone get rid of that Weirdo! So annoying!

If you want good service and good food avoid this restaurant. The soup was like a bowl of salty chicken broth. The entrée we ordered they were out of. Was just as well since they probably get it from the freezer and stick it in the microwave. Got a so called Roman style pizza. A frozen pizza from Walmart would have been better. Took all of it out to feed hungry stray dogs. Hope it won’t kill them. Service. Horrible. Got the order wrong. Had to flag them down to get anything. When we got the check it was wrong. Only good thing was that it was Gypsy night there. Be warned of all else.

Good service. I liked that the server was not constantly checking in on us. But the food was not good. I know it’s a chain, but it’s not cheap. Caesar salad had way too much salad dressing on it and I could not finish it after finding a fine blond hair in it. The most disappointing part of the diner was my pasta dish. The pasta was overcooked. This is a deal breaker for me. I wonder if they microwave their pasta like Olive Garden. Way to expensive for subpar food. I’m honestly surprised at the good reviews.

This place is a chain restaurant and there are certainly other local Italian places we could dine at, but when your favorite place is closed on a Sunday night you don’t have an excuse to be picky. This is the only Carrabba’s I’ve ever been to so I can’t compare it to any of their other locations, but I’d say it’s very consistent with the amount of times I’ve been here. The menu is extensive and they go out of their way to serve you something better than just garlic knots and dipping sticks. I feel like I’ve been pushed out of my comfort zone a little every time I come here and I always walk away a little less timid and a lot heavier every time.

I’ve been always been a huge fan of Carrabba’s delicious Italian food and excellent customer service. The waiters provide exceptional service and are extremely friendly. They always make me feel like we’ve been buddies forever and bring me whatever I need right away. My favorite items would have to be the seafood linguine and definitely the cozza de Bianco(mussels in white wine sauce). The white wine sauce is TODIEFOR… so good hat I wanna drink it. It’s that good. Dip the complimentary sliced bread in the sauce and I fly directly to heaven. Highly highly recommended! Although I would try and stay away from this place during a holiday(especially Valentine’s Day): service tend to be mediocre and the food is not worth the 1 hour and 30 wait. But any other day, it’s my favorite Italian restaurant.

Went there for lunch and ordered a meatball sandwich. The waitress asked if I wanted a half or a whole sandwich. I ordered the half and she asked if I wanted anything else. I declined. When the bill came, she informed me that they didn’t have a button on the computer for a half a sandwich, so she rang it up as a soup and half sandwich and charged me for a full sandwich. I told her that this was not what I was told when I ordered and she again told me that there was no button on the computer for just a half sandwich. Had I known this at the time, I would have ordered soup as well. The sandwich was mediocre at best, so I won’t be going back.

I’m so excited that Carabbas is open at 11am. I think they opened later once upon a time, but I recently visited and enjoyed lunch on Saturday. My sister and I realized that they’d updated the décor as well, so that means it has been a while since we dined. I enjoyed the Fettuccine Weesie, Zucchini Fritte and wine. Yep, wine at lunch. It pairs well with the meal. Our waiter was excellent. He dropped by at all the right times and provided everything we needed without request. Parking was easy at lunch time on a Saturday. I’ll be back!

I honestly had somewhat low expectations for this place. My last visit was over a year ago and it was just ok. However, this visit I really enjoyed. My friend got reservations and we were quickly seated upon arrival. Service was both very professional, friendly, and timely from the very beginning. Everything was presented and offered just as one would expect from a top notch restaurant. The ambiance of the restaurant is very eclectic. It is a place you can go on a nice date, or you could take the whole family for a birthday dinner. There were a few more kids there than I would have liked, but hey what are you going to do with them. I ended up with the sirloin shiskabobs, a Caesar salad, and the sauteed broccoli. My partner got the calamari as an entrée. All the food came out together and was delicious. The service was 4 ½ stars, but still feel a little pricey for what you get. So will leave it at 4 stars.

I was here on Sunday after church for an early lunch. The restaurant wasn’t crowded so we were seated immediately. One thing I noticed after being seated close to the bathrooms, was the smell of dirty mop and old cheese. This was contrasted with the wonderful aroma of garlic and bread coming from the open kitchen. There was definitely a fight in my senses while trying to enjoy my meal. Now for the food. I had the crab cake appetizer. They were ok. Nothing extravagant about the seasoning. There were nice big chunks of crab. The server mentioned they were made in the restaurant, not frozen. A soup came with my meal, so I went for the Minestrone. I hope I remember to come here when I’m sick just for the soup. It was hearty and flavorful; stuffed with cabbage, carrotts, potatoes and beans. For my entrée I had the Tag Pic Pac; a light pasta dish with tomatoes, garlic, and basil. It was delicious, but an overwhelming amount of food. I wonder if they offer half sizes? Hmm… oh yeah, almost forgot about the seemingly endless supply of bread. It was fresh baked and warm, served with olive oil and Tuscan seasoning. Yummy yum.

Not my first choice to come here or didn’t feel like going but my mom had a gift card and wanted to dine in before I head out to Cincinnati. We got here early. 6:00 p.m. on a Friday night and there was a wait. I gave them my name and went straight to the bar to order a glass of wine. I got the house Cabernet Sauvignon. During happy hour it’s only $ 6.70. It was actually good. As I sat there, my buzzer went off and we were seated within 10 minutes. Wow, that was quick. When we were seated, the server was there to take a drink orders. Got our drinks and bread really quick. Also we were ready to order since I handed a menu to my mom while we were waiting. I got the Tilapia Nocciola which is lightly breaded with hazelnuts, topped with roma tomatoes and house made basil lemon butter sauce for $ 16.50. Not bad for the price. You get two sides. So I got the garlic mashed potatoes and instead of the salad, I got the broccoli. My mom got the Lobster Ravioli which is lobster and romano in white wine cream sauce, topped with diced roma tomatoes for $ 17.90. A little steep, but hey… it’s lobster. We got our meals within 20 minutes. I was expecting it to be longer, but it was rather quick considering it was really busy. Much to my surprise I really liked my meal. When I first took a bite of my tilapia, I thought it was a tad bit salty. But I took another bite, it was really delicious. The fish was rather big too and not heavily breaded. Not much roma tomatoes placed on top(maybe two small slices), but the basil was fresh, it was seasoned and cooked just right. The broccoli, was not overcooked and mashed potatoes was decent(I didn’t taste the garlic). I tried a bite of my mom’s lobster ravioli and thought it was good too. The sauce was not overwhelming or soaking. It could have used more lobster since you are paying close to twenty dollars. You get 8 regular size pieces. As long as my mom was happy, that’s all that mattered. I would say overall, it was good service and great dining for the night. No complaints. Oh for those for you who are healthy cautious there is a section for 600 calories and under. There is also a gluten free section. Restaurant/bathrooms clean. Plenty of parking. Awful traffic, but luckily east access to get in and out of due to traffic light. Located next to Hooters on Washington Road. If I’m in the Augusta area, this wouldn’t be the first place I head to, but the service was quite fast and friendly.

We came here for date night. The wait was about an hour &15 mins but it was Friday night around 7pm. No worries there. There could def be more seating and maybe heaters outside for customers waiting. Once we were seated our server was very slow. She took our order and we didn’t see her until the food was served. Then we didn’t see her until we needed something else. She never stopped by just to ask how we were doing or to re-fill drinks. The food was good. A bit heavy and a portions are large. We got the sampler appetizer. And I got the lasagna. I expected more out of the lasagna. It tasted like lasagna I could have made at home in my over. My husband had some seafood dish which was VERY fishy. I could smell it all the way across the table. He hated it and said it was gross. The sangria was very good tho!
